Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week So many fun announcements and reveals this week for all of the video games have hit us hard, and we need to have a weekend to enjoy it all. Subliminal Slip into another realm with Subliminal, with the PC launch for Subliminal happening as you read this It is always interesting to see when things slip out through the cracks, and it seems as if Subliminal has launched out there on the PC with very little buildup. That could be on us for missing things in the insanity of releases, but it does also feel as if the developer was just ready to drop this title. No matter the case, get ready to slip into another liminal space with the launch of Subliminal. Directive 8020 A new behind-the-scenes video for Directive 8020 is out there, to highlight the world we will be exploring and collectibles in Directive 8020 It is time to join the crew over at Supermassive Games again for Directive 8020, as they dive further into the crew we are going to experience some horrors with. Although this time, it is more about the corporation that has sent us all on this quest and the planet that we will find ourselves landing on in the game. All of that, and finally a better look at how Directive 8020 is going to link back to the core of The Dark Pictures with the collectibles that will have us locked into our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC when May 12th comes around. Invincible The final fighter for Invincible VS is here, along with the announcement that two more will be coming to Invincible VS later It has been a bit of a time coming, but here we go with the final character on the launch roster for Invincible VS. Now the full eighteen fighters have been listed, and Quarter Up and Skybound have opted to give us another Viltrumite character to fight with. That is, Conquest, the main antagonist in the later seasons of Invincible, has flown in to make things difficult for the cast of fighters. Leading to yet another of the god-like characters in the fight against many other characters who could never hold their own in a single-combat fight against them. Read More...

Order 13 We sit down and review Order 13. A warehouse shipping simulation with a very dark twist that has launched onto consoles. Here is our review of Order 13. It took a bit of time, but Order 13 finally made it off the PC and onto the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This would be the warehouse shipping game that Cybernetic Walrus had out there for a bit, and with the help of JanduSoft, it made the console move. Just so that more gamers out there can see what other horrors are lying out there besides just the day-to-day work that has to go on. Ritual Tides A bit of gameplay is out there for Ritual Tides, and it shows off how horrifying some of the monsters in Ritual Tides will be I hope you are ready to have some of your skin crawl out there, as we have a new look at Ritual Tides that offers up a few things that will do that to you. I am sure it will build further into the narrative psychological horror title that Vertpaint is working on once we get into the bigger game, but for now, we get to see these Lovecraftian things crawling about. There's a good reason I keep using those words, as these all look to be spider and insect-like in Ritual Tides, just with the cosmic horror twist to some of them. It has been a bit of time coming, and we are finally here with a look at I Hate This Place. The latest title from Rock Square Thunder and Feardemic is a retelling of the story from the comic of the same name. The Boys The world of The Boys comes further to life with a new look at the gameplay coming in The Boys: Trigger Warning It is time to fly further into the depths of Vaught and check out the latest gameplay for The Boys: Trigger Warning. For those who can't wait until March 26th to experience it all live on the PSVR2 and Quest 3 VR headsets, that is. Or, for those who just want to see what ARVORE has been working on since we last saw any of the gameplay. Not to mention, it is almost time that The Boys' final season kicks off, and we need more of the dark humor and bloodshed in our lives with the Supes that are usually the cause of it all. Invincible Another antagonist from Invincible is coming back into the fight, as we see Titan join in Invincible VS We are getting near the end of the list of the roster for Invincible VS, as we now have the 17th fighter announced for the game. Another fun brute-style of character that Quarter Up and Skybound have pulled from the pages and screen to join in the fight. Our favorite big rock enforcer from the Invincible universe, Titan, has joined in the fun to take a few swings. A nice little addition to the whole experience that I am all here for, as it does seem to offer up a little more variety in the mix out there. Read More...

Stupid Never Dies A new bit of gameplay for Stupid Never Dies is out there to show off some of the new styles coming in Stupid Never Dies It is time to see more of what Stupid Never Dies is going to have to offer up beyond the weird zombie love story that sold it in the first place. Okay, maybe that was not what sold it, and it might have been more that GPTRACK50 was leaning into the weird anime over-the-top aspect of things when it came to the world and gameplay. I am not currently here to debate all of that, as we now have a nice little gameplay showcase that offers up a little more of a look at the story Stupid Never Dies is going to bring, along with the actual gameplay cycle we are going to go through.
