A Plague Tale While at E3, I was able to see A Plague Tale: Innocence in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on A Plague Tale: Innocence. Another E3 has come and we had another year where we had a chance to check out A Plague Tale: Innocence. This would be that interesting stealth-adventure game that Asobo Studio has been working on that is set in 14th century France where we are being swarmed by rats and need to survive. Not only that but in A Plague Tale: Innocence the innocence stands refers to the protagonist(s) of the story as we take on the role of two young children in the mix of all of this. Soulcalibur While at E3, I was able to see SoulCalibur VI in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on SoulCalibur VI. There seemed to be many fighting games out on the show floor at E3, which is good for the genre, but some of the good old franchise was out breathing life into themselves and SoulCalibur VI was another one of them out there. Do not think this is a bad thing as it is good to see that Bandai Namco has not abandoned the game and trying a few new things. Especially based on what they had on the show floor for us to play. Hitman While at E3, I was able to see Hitman 2 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Hitman 2. We all knew it was coming and then it was secured when Hitman 2 received the official announcement just before E3 this year. Given how well the last one was received and still is played today, it would have been a bad move on IO Interactive to not follow it up with another great addition to the franchise and continue the story that sucked us in recently. They may have moved over to Warner Bros. to get the game out there, but that is not a bad thing at all as they also had Hitman 2 on the floor to play and see just where the game has progressed to. Metro Exodus While at E3, I was able to see Metro Exodus in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Metro Exodus. After all the plagues of delays, I was finally able to get my hands on Metro Exodus this year out at E3 and see how the game has advanced over its predecessors. Sure, we have seen quite a few interesting trailers in the past and a few tech demos where 4A Games has shown off the game's engine, but graphics do not make a game. It makes it look pretty and in a game like Metro Exodus it helps with the immersion, but it is not the sole reason to give the game a chance. Read More...

Call Of Cthulhu While at E3 I was able to see Call Of Cthulhu in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Call Of Cthulhu. The madness continues to flow as we are still left waiting for Call Of Cthulhu to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but we did get another great showing of the game while on the floor out at E3. While I know I was hoping to be able to actually play and experience what Cyanide Studios has for the game so far, it was not meant to be as it was not playable on the floor again. Arca’s Path While at E3, I was able to see Arca’s Path in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Arca’s Path. In the mix of all the hustle and bustle of E3 sometimes you yearn for a break and some other title out there to ground you back out and that was where Arca’s Path comes in here. I am going to go on a limb and say that a lot of you most likely have not heard of the game as of yet but it was on the list of VR titles that I wanted to check out during the show. It is a new title that Dream Reality Interactive has crafted for us and another "smaller" title that Rebellion has put themselves behind to bring to the PSVR, Oculus, and Vive sometime soon. Devil May Cry During E3 Devil May Cry 5 was announced and we all had a good look at just how this will be the true sequel in the Devil May Cry franchise Even with all of the early announcements and "leaks" out there for E3 this year there was still space for some great secret announcements to still come and that is how it was for Devil May Cry 5. Yes, it received a full announcement out of seemingly nowhere during the Microsoft media event and Capcom was able to keep it all under wraps until then. Spider-Man There was more for Spider-Man shown out of E3 that you may have missed but we have more Spider-Man gameplay just for you As we all knew, there was going to be a whole lot of new footage and information out of E3 for Spider-Man this year. It is one of the last big pushes for the game that Insomniac Games has to do before launch for the game and we had plenty of warning before this event. None of that still seemed to be enough to prepare us for what was coming for Spider-Man here. The Walking Dead We finally have our first bit of gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead and it looks like it is a new way to experience The Walking Dead The wait is over and we finally have some gameplay for Overkill’s The Walking Dead to look at instead of all of the amazing little teases and pre-rendered segments we have been given so far. Not that I have not enjoyed what Starbreeze has put together for those little bits, but I know I just want to see what I will be playing for Overkill here and not just the fancy stuff we will not be playing. Resident Evil The remake of Resident Evil 2 has something to look at and it comes with an official release date for Resident Evil 2 as well It has been so long since we first heard word that Resident Evil 2 was getting remade and we have seen so much for the franchise since then. If memory serves, it was back in 2015 that we first heard from Capcom that they were looking to remake one of their strongest games in the franchise and fans have been left wanting since. That is if you forget that they put out Resident Evil 7 and a whole bunch of DLC and other smaller titles in the process. Beat Saber It has now been announced that Beat Saber will be making the leap to consoles with Beat Saber launching on the PSVR platform now It is now official that Beat Saber will be heading over to the PS4 to be played on the PSVR at some point. The announcement that Hyperbolic Magnetism will be bringing the game to the platform came out as part of the PrE3 announcements that were coming to the PlayStation. It was also kind of a given that Beat Saber would be heading over as it was originally listed as "coming to consoles" back when we first heard the announcement, but now it is official. At least as official as it can be given that it is still in an Early Access stage for the Oculus and Vive versions for the game that released a little over a month ago. Read More...
