This Week In Video Games 3/4/19 — 3/8/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 9th of March 2019 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and all kinds of stuff was out there for our favorite video games. It felt like the same rollercoaster we have been used to as of late with the ups and downs and teases. Just like the new gameplay we had for Days Gone and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Also some new stuff for Mortal Kombat 11 and sadly a delay to The Sinking City. Read More...

Hack & Stealth Your Way Through The Upcoming Evotinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of March 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Evotinction During the China Hero Project showcase, we received a new look at Evotinction that will combine stealth gameplay with a bit of computer hacking Add one more game to the interesting ones to keep an eye on as we have Evotinction to take in here. This would be a new hack and stealth title from Spikewave Games where the gameplay sounds about as you would suspect. We need to sneak around some kind of futuristic location while hacking into systems around us to help keep hidden or keep the enemy moving right past us. That is Evotinction in the most basic of nutshells as it was recently shown off for the world and heading to the PS4. Read More...

The Sinking City Has A New Release Date To Look Forward To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of March 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The Sinking City The release date for The Sinking City has been pushed out to give us a new buffer for The Sinking City and other video games coming soon It looks like the release date for The Sinking City has been pushed out again and the wait continues. It is usually a horrible thing when something like this happens, at least for all of us gamers looking forward to the game, but it makes perfect sense for Frogwares to do. Not due to anything pointing to The Sinking City not being the game we have been expecting, but in line with the game getting lost in the mix of all of the other titles out there. That would be the reason we have been given for the delay for the most part. Read More...

Become The Superhero Of The Wasteland In RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of March 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
RAGE A new trailer for RAGE 2 is here to show off the weapons and superpowers we will get to use in the mix of RAGE 2’s chaos It looks like RAGE 2 is going to be shaking things up even further than before as now we have a look at the superpowers and abilities we will have in the game. This is something that Avalanche Studios has shown off a bit already, but have not fully detailed out completely. This new video for RAGE 2 does a bit of a better job at that, thankfully, and also digs into the weapons we will find and be able to use around the wastes. All so we can be the best superhero we can be in a world that needs more heroes. Read More...

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Drops Load Of New Gameplay To Absorb
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of March 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Sekiro A recent media event has brought us loads of new gameplay for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to take in just before Sekiro launches this month You do need to love when huge media events take place for games as it brings a whole lot of new gameplay to as is the case here for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. While not always the case, we usually get some massive updates or at least some new in-game footage to look at and enjoy. FromSoftware is cutting it a little close as Sekiro does launch on March 22nd, but we will not scoff at all of the footage and visuals we can take in for the game. Read More...

The Division The launch trailer of The Division 2 is here to show off a different look at how the world has changed and how The Division will fight on The open beta for The Division 2 has wrapped up and we still have ten more days from now to wait for the game to finally launch. Some of you are chomping at the bit and some of you are definitely more blasé with what we have seen. Get A Taste Of The Pre-Viz Live Action For Devil May Cry 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of March 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Devil May Cry A new teaser for Devil May Cry 5 is here to give us a small taste of the live action cutscenes coming to Devil May Cry 5 here soon I joked about it last week when we had the "final" trailer for Devil May Cry 5 before it launches next week, but here we are again with another trailer to take in. Well, at least by name as this one does not highlight much of the action and story we will have in the game but it more focuses on a different feature Capcom has offered up in the way of live action cutscenes. The feature that has been included in the Deluxe Edition of Devil May Cry 5 and only been given a little bit of screen time to date. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes our broadcast week with so many cool new things coming out for all of our video games new and old. Even old in the way of Resident Evil and Final Fantasy find some new homes on the Switch. Some of the new in the way of World War Z getting another look at the undead and then The Division 2 flowing into its Beta right now. Something that I wish more video games would stop doing, as it is never a true beta. Read More...

Interpoint Is Announced To Twist Us Through More Horror-Filled Worlds
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of March 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
A new psychological horror, Interpoint, is announced with mechanics and designs that make Interpoint look to pay homage to some of gaming’s greats There is another newcomer to the FPS psychological horror genre of video games, as we now have Interpoint to add into the mix. This new title comes from Three Dots and looks to give us some old sci-fi horror with a bit of the gameplay we have seen in some other great titles in the past. I am not talking about FPS titles in general but in the form of a special gun that can do quite a few different things and will be needed to complete the game. Interpoint will call it a Photon Gun while others can see how it links to, say, a portal gun. Read More...

The Division 2’s Post-Launch Content Has More Detail To It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of March 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
The Division The free and paid post-launch content for The Division 2 is detailed out in the latest video for The Division 2 with plans following other title’s pattern The open beta for The Division 2 just kicked off today and here we are talking about what to expect down the road after the game launches on March 15th. It always seems odd to see all of this post-content talked about well before a game actually launches, but at least most of what we have here is being doled out for free from Ubisoft. Not just little things that could have been included in the launch version of The Division 2, but items and content that obviously will take Massive Entertainment just a bit longer to get done. Devil May Cry 5 Gets Its Final Trailer Just Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of March 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Devil May Cry The “final” trailer for Devil May Cry 5 is here for one last push with another surprise for Devil May Cry 5 at the end mixed in Add one more trailer to the long list of trailers we have had for Devil May Cry 5 since it was first announced back at E3. Also note that this will most likely be the final one we are getting before March 8th as Capcom has listed it this way and brings us a launch trailer to take in. Something that usually happens around now, but in the case of Devil May Cry 5, shows off more of the story that will be going down in the game. Nothing too spoiler-filled, but those trying to stay clear of all of that may want to skip on by. Read More...

Review — ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of February 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
ToeJam & Earl We sit down and review ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove. The aliens and crew are back and searching for their broken ship parts. Here is our review of ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove It has been a long twenty-eight years since the first ToeJam & Earl dropped and became a weird cult classic among gamers of the time. Also for the current generation of gamers out there as they backed this little passion project from HumaNature Studios to get this game back out there. Not in a traditional remaster form, but as a title that could be claimed as a solid entry to what we had before. Read More...

A Plague Tale: Innocence Has A Darker Story Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of February 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale A new story trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence goes into more of the relationships of the characters and how it will be just as dark as A Plague Tale’s gameplay There was never any doubt that A Plague Tale: Innocence was going to be a dark and sad story given the concept and topic the game was aiming to cover. The Black Death is not a happy time for pretty much anyone and Asobo Studio is digging into it a bit more by aiming to tell a dark tale mixed into its stealth and puzzle gameplay. If you have been keeping up with A Plague Tale, then you know just about what we are all expecting of the game on May 14th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of February 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The Sinking City New gameplay for The Sinking City dives further into the detective gameplay of The Sinking City and how we will be on our own for the most part It has been one long wait until we received something new for The Sinking City but we are back with a new look at the game and how the detective and investigation parts of the game will handle.
