Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week You have to love weeks like this one with all of the various news and updates coming out for our video games. I mean, it is gamescom week and that was to be expected a bit but with announcements like Marvel’s Midnight Suns and Saints Row dropping on us, it was a bit of a doozy. Those were only a few of them too, as we had a whole lot of new footage for Black Myth: Wukong and actual gameplay for The Outlast Trials. That and the news and updates for more video games just keep on flowing out there as I am typing these words. Read More...

House Of Ashes New enemies are here in House Of Ashes to make us all question who we can rely on to escape this House Of Ashes It was not a huge surprise with the launch of The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes only a few months out that we would be seeing a new trailer for the game out of gamescom this year. It is kind of the best place for the team over at Supermassive Games to show off what we will be getting on October 22nd. That and to pose a great question that none of the other games have truly gone into in this anthology. Read More...

Bloodhunt The first clan to join the bloodhunt is shown off here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt The kindred are coming out for the hunt now and we have our first taste of the first clan to hit the streets in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt. To those outside of the loop, that was a whole lot of weird terms and words to say that Sharkmob is showing off the first of the vampire clans we will get to use in the game when it lands on us all. Clans being the specific type of vampire in the VTM universe that Bloodhunt is set in. Fresh out of gamescom this year, we now have a look at the Toreador as one of the playable clans we will stalk the streets in this battle royale title set in the World Of Darkness. Read More...

Saints Row A new entry into the Saints Row IP was announced at gamescom 2021 and it takes us into the roots of the Saints Row crew The Saints are back once more with the announcement that Saints Row is coming fresh from gamescom this year. This mean it is time to let some of the confusion in with the naming convention here as it is not a remake or remaster of the original from Volition, but a new title in the growing line that Deep Silver is putting out there. Naming aside, though, we are getting a new Saints Row now on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC and will only have to wait until February 25th for it to launch. That is as of right now and hoping that there will not be anything that delays the game out beyond that. Read More...

Midnight Suns Marvel’s Midnight Suns is announced out of gamescom this year and looks to bring the Midnight Suns to us in a tactical RPG This year's gamescom is underway and one of the more shocking titles to get announced so far is, Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Yes, we are getting another Marvel game to enjoy and this one is coming at us from Firaxis Games and 2K Games. Both of which are some powerhouses out there, but also do point to what Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be giving us in March of 2022 when the game hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC. The whole array of systems and a wider cast of characters beyond what the other recent titles are offering up. Read More...

World War Z The pre-orders are open for World War Z: Aftermath and we get a look at the new content coming to World War Z when it launches again The hordes are rushing at us soon in World War Z: Aftermath but that does not mean we do not have more time to get prepared for the launch on September 19th. Vertigo The story for Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo is here to try to show how it will differ from the version of Vertigo in the other mediums out there Many out there should already know the core story and concepts behind Vertigo out there. It has been a story that has been out there for almost sixty years now with the famous Alfred Hitchcock version to given everyone the visual representation of the original tale. Dead By Daylight The next Dead By Daylight release will be adding in Pinhead to the Dead By Daylight lineup soon There has been a bit of a stir recently for Dead By Daylight with some content going away and other tidbits getting teased out there. For our purposes here today, and as the visuals and headline let us know, we are going to focus on what Behaviour will be adding into the game soon and not what they are taking away. More so, since it looks like the Hellraiser IP will be heading into Dead By Daylight soon with the few teases and now confirmation that it will be the case. Yes, it looks like the next horror icon to stalk the game will be from that IP and most likely Pinhead. Read More...

Fracked The launch of Fracked is upon us and we have another quick look at Fracked just before donning our VR headsets Our PSVR headsets are about to get a little more explosive with the release and launch for Fracked this week. Hells, it could already be the case for those that pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game and took nDreams up on the ability to play the game three days in advance. That was a thing and is still possible with the full release of Fracked hitting on August 20th. That would make that advanced play ability happen for you right now if you wanted to throw down the cash for it all. Read More...
