by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat X mobile is available now for all of us to unlock our cool extra skins a bit before Mortal Kombat X proper is released It is less than a week now until Mortal Kombat X will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but there is a way for all of us to play a version of it free as of right now. While it was thought that Mortal Kombat X Mobile was going to release sometime after the full version of the game it looks like NetherRealm has given it to us early. Yes, Mortal Kombat X Mobile can currently be picked up on an iOS device and soon on an Android device as I am writing this. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for Mortal Kombat X that was directed by one of System Of A Down has been released for the world It looks like the Mortal Kombat X mass push for updates will be coming to an end as we now have that Launch Trailer that was teased a little while back. This would be the one that has Chop Suey as the song and being directed by Shavo from System Of A Down. There was a sneak peak but it really didn't give us any insight as to what we may see in the Mortal Kombat X launch trailer. Well the wait is now over and now we just have to wait a week more to make heads and tails of everything that we are going to see here. Read More...

Goro Truly Lives On In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We had out first real look at the Goro DLC for Mortal Kombat X and it is all about the Punch Walk If you were not too busy over this Easter weekend then you would have been in for another Mortal Kombat X treat. The first gameplay for Goro was shown off during an Amazon All Access event. More than just Goro was shown off during the five hour stream with NetherRealm and Amazon via Twitch but let's face it; Goro is what everyone was excited to see as the rest of the characters that are to be shown off for Mortal Kombat X will be coming in the next week leading up to the April 14th launch. That is if you don't think that there will be more surprises after Mortal Kombat X launches. While we didn't get a good breakdown of all of Goro's moves and variations in Mortal Kombat X, we did at least get their descriptions as well as a shit ton of gameplay showing off how Goro could be completely overpowered in Mortal Kombat X. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The first bit of actual game play for Mortal Kombat X Mobile and details have been recently shown off We still have a little more time before we can dig into Mortal Kombat X Mobile. As of right now there has yet to be a release date for the free mobile title that will link into Mortal Kombat X proper but it has been stated sometime shortly after the April 14th launch of that title. What we do have though is a bit more on Mortal Kombat X Mobile and what we can expect to be different from the Injustice tie-in mobile game and this one. You can see all of this lower down the page from the latest Kombat Kast but here is a quicker breakdown for you. Read More...

Almost All Of The Mortal Kombat X Characters Have Been Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
In the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X we were shown almost all of the characters and their variations The headline here may seem a bit odd as we do have our first full look at the Mortal Kombat X character select screen with no empty spots anymore. The roster has been fully shown here at least in the terms of core characters but as we all know, NetherRealm is working on DLC and hinted at other characters making a return to Mortal Kombat X as well. Would it be safe to assume that the DLC or other characters will show up as a second menu under Goro similar to Mortal Kombat 9? I mean they have to display them somehow right? Read More...

Grand Theft Auto V Has Never Looked This Good Before
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V on the PC running at 60fps has been released for our viewing pleasure Just when you thought you've seen the best for Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar brings you back in. This time we have a nice long look at how the game is going to look when running at the best settings on the PC version of the game. I though the PS4 and Xbox One editions of Grand Theft Auto V looked out of this world but I am starting to see why PC gaming is such a huge thing. If only it wasn't so expensive and had some of our favorite franchises available. Read More...

It's Time To Meet The Briggs Family In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Mortal Kombat X has been released and this one shows off Jackson and Jacqueline Briggs perfectly Either we have one crazy elaborate April Fool's joke for Mortal Kombat X or some European outlet released a new trailer for the game a little bit early. My bet is going on the latter here but you never know. What we do know is that the following trailer does officially show of Jax in action for Mortal Kombat X. Like I said, unless NetherRealm is running some huge joke here since we've already seen him in Kombat already then we can add one more to the already mind-bogglingly huge list of Kombatants for Mortal Kombat X. That's one new feature coming just for Mortal Kombat X. The other is that there will be challenge towers that feature DLC characters that you can play through even if you don't own the character outside of the tower. Read More...

Time To Spoil The First 26 Minutes Of Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first 26 minutes or so of Mortal Kombat X's story mode has been released online for all of us to spoil the game with It looks like the internet couldn't wait another two weeks for Mortal Kombat X to land as we now have what looks like the GDC demo that was shown to select press during the event. I am talking the whole 26 minute long section of the story that NetherRealm has shown a small section for already but in this case we have a whole lot more. Pretty much it looks like the entire first chapter of Mortal Kombat X and the entire outlying story that goes along with it. Read More...

Erron Black Is Now Kompletely Konfirmed For Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
More characters have been shown off for Mortal Kombat X via there most recent Kombat Kast and now we finally have Erron Black of the comic book fame Yet another character that was speculated and had small glimpses of before in Mortal Kombat X proper and now we have a full view of Erron Black from the comic book for the game. He feels like one of the worst kept secrets for the game from NetherRealm Studios but he still looks amazing and like a fun addition to franchise. Now we are at a high level of characters for Mortal Kombat X and I have a feeling that we still have quite a few more in the mix to come. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Slender: The Arrival. The cult classic has made its way to the PS4 and Xbox One so lets see how it translated. Here's our review on how they've done so far The insanity of Slender: The Arrival has finally hit the next gen systems to overtake and put the fear into a whole new group of gamers on the PS4 and Xbox One. It's been two years since PC gamers had the fright put on them and just under a year since PS3 and Xbox 360 players have experienced Slender: The Arrival. There have been new story elements added into the game for the next generation but is that what was needed to sell the game to a new audience? Read More...

Review — Tales From The Borderlands: Atlas Mugged
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Atlas Mugged. This is the second episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It has been some time since we had the first episode for Tales From The Borderlands. In fact we had four holidays and a whole lot of snow in between the first episode and the second one. This scared me somewhat as the first episode was so well done that I thought all future episodes for Tales From The Borderlands were going to take this long to perfect. I truly hope they don't. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Straight out of Russia with love we have another Mortal Kombat X character confirmed and another being teased What was speculation yesterday for Mortal Kombat X is now confirmed. We have our first look at Lui Kang in action with the latest international trailer titled The Shaolin Trailer. This comes from Maxim Russian, with love, and shows not only Lui Kang in action but how he will possibly be fitting into the overall story along with Kung Lao and the possibility of yet another character gracing the game. If you are eagle eyed enough you may also see Bo' Rai Cho in the following Mortal Kombat X trailer. This would bring the character count for Mortal Kombat X to a not so round 29 with extra rumor and speculation bringing that up to 39 with what has been gleamed so far. Read More...

One More Character Was Hidden In Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
It looks like one more character has been leaked in the whole Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack debacle on the Xbox Marketplace At the end of last week we had a whole bunch of characters listed out for Mortal Kombat X via the Kombat Pack. This was considered a "leak" when someone found the description of the pack up on the Xbox Marketplace. The big name listed here was Predator and then of course a video from NetherRealm came out showing off all of the characters coming to Mortal Kombat X via the DLC pack. That of course being Predator, Jason, Tremor, and Tanya. Read More...
