The Surge More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Nintendo The Japanese version of Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios now has an opening window for when fans can experience Nintendo like never before If you are one of those gamers who like to plan ahead then get your planner out right now as it looks like Super Nintendo World will be coming at us sometime before the Summer of 2020. At least to the Universal Parks in Japan as it has been announced that the aim is to get the addition built, staffed, and open before the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been placed out there and it shows more of The Walking Dead's characters are going to crossover This week marked the break of the TV version of The Walking Dead and next week we get to go back into the world with The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's first two episodes of the season. Friday The 13th Another classic character from Friday The 13th lore has made their way into Friday The 13th: The Game and maybe in a way to permanently take down Jason It is always a good day when we get a new update for Friday The 13th: The Game and that makes today awesome. While Gun Media has been pretty forthcoming with some new looks at the game recently, none of the images shown have been note-worthy enough to garner a full posting here. DOOM The fifth free update for DOOM is here and it brings in some new modes to DOOM's multiplayer among many other updates for the game now Hopefully you weren't thinking of putting DOOM for a bit to give some of these other great games a chance. If you were then you are going to be a bit sore with id Software as they have just released yet another Free Update for the game and it brings a whole new multiplayer mode and the ability to reach the rank of Echelon 11 in the game. It's almost like they don't care about the other titles that Bethesda has brought us and want us all to stay focused on DOOM for as long as they want. Uncharted At PSX it was shown that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was going to be coming as a massive story DLC bit for Uncharted 4 to carry it on just a little further If you were able to catch anything out of PSX then you know that it all started off with a bang with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy getting shown off. Some thought it could have been another Tomb Raider thing and a few other ideas were floating around but none the less Naughty Dog is bringing yet another great experience to the PS4 with this extra bit of DLC. That's right, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is some DLC for Uncharted 4 in the end; but it is the biggest story DLC that the developers have ever put out and it will keep you playing the final game just a bit longer so that is all good. South Park A new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has released, instead of the game, and it looks like we can see the South Park mission that starts it all I know I am not alone when I say I'd like to be playing South Park: The Fractured But Whole as of right now. Yesterday (12/6) was the original release date for the game and now we sit and wait for the new date to even be announced for some time in "Early 2017." This is just how video games go sometime and hopefully all of this waiting means that Ubisoft is more about getting us a great game instead of padding numbers for the year. One can hope and I know that I still have high hopes for South Park and am glad to see that we have a new trailer to look at instead of the game that we should have had. Read More...

The Last Of Us The continuation for The Last Of Us has been announced at PSX and it looks like The Last Of Us Part II will be changing a few things up for us in a good way If you were living under a rock over the weekend or just took a break then you may have missed that The Last Of Us Part II was finally given the announcement that many were hoping for. This would be the sequel to Naughty Dogs critically acclaimed apocalypse game that I'd be surprised to find any gamer who has not heard of it by now. Prey More gameplay for Prey has been shown off and this time we get to see the new mechanics for Prey as well as how we can harness those damned aliens We've seen a lot of stuff for Prey so far and it is looking like it could shape up to be another killer game from Arkane Studios. It has even posed a lot of interesting questions around the net but mostly it all boils down to what will the game play like outside of the basic first person shooter kind of title. The teasers and announcement trailer for Prey so far haven't done much on the gameplay side of everything but they have given a whole lot of story. Guardians Of The Galaxy The rumors of Guardians Of The Galaxy being in the works from Telltale have been confirmed and we'll see Guardians Of The Galaxy sometime next year And just like that all of the Guardians Of The Galaxy rumors were true as it looks like the game is officially in development and slated to hit sometime next year. I'm going to go on a limb and say that Telltale Games is going to aim for a May release for the game as it would sync up with Marvel on the film's release but as the two are not connected outside of characters they may go down a different path. Hellblade Another update for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been put out there and it gives us all an idea on why we won't see Hellblade until sometime in 2017 It is a rare thing that we get two solid updates for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice in one week but it looks like this week has opted to deliver it all to us. I am not going to complain about this in the least bit as the more I can get on the game the better. The only real thing that we have to complain about here is that this is mostly Ninja Theory telling us why we won't be seeing Hellblade until sometime in 2017 and not a whole lot more. Read More...

Dishonored 2 We sit down and review Dishonored 2. We are back in the seat and trying to save the kingdom with magic powers. Here's our review of Dishonored 2 The wait is over, the hype has come to its head, and now we are here to play Dishonored 2. The follow up to the amazing franchise started by Arkane Studios that takes some of the best stealth gameplay to date and throws in some mystical powers on top of it. Bethesda has been pushing really hard for Dishonored 2 and now that the day has come and gone, the game is out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and we had a chance to sit down and give it a solid play.
