Looks like the rumors from March are now true as PlayStation is allowing members to sign up to beta test new firmware for the PS4 Way back in March of this year rumors started springing up that PlayStation users would be getting a firmware beta program for the PS4. Nothing was concrete and set in stone back then as this was all based on a few emails and screen shots that could have been faked. PlayStation Sony has announced that the PlayStation Experience will be happening again only this time the PlayStation Experience will be in San Francisco Given the success of last year's PlayStation Experience it would be a bit daft to think that it wouldn't be making a huge comeback this year. For the uneducated this would be Sony's huge PlayStation "Fan Fest" of sorts to show off all their new and current IPs, hardware, and ideas coming to their platforms. Seeing as they didn't make a big push for anything sans the Morpheus at E3 and other conventions we can most likely expect the PlayStation Experience to only show off items for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and the like but who knows? Another new gameplay feature for Guitar Hero Live has been announced in the way of premium shows that can unlock even more items in Guitar Hero Live So far we've seen a few of the cool new ways that Guitar Hero Live will be changing the franchise as well as the genre of game. There are so many other things that could go on with the rhythm genre but here we are getting what are called Premium Shows for Guitar Hero Live. God Of War III Remastered has launched today and we have a nice, new trailer to show off how we all could be experiencing God Of War III on the PS4 The date has come and God Of War III Remastered is finally here for all of us who want to play the game on the PS4. It could the first time or it could be the 30th time but none the less God Of War III is now on the PS4 and remastered to 1080p and 60fps by Wholesale Algorithms for Sony Santa Monica. It has all the bells and whistles we remember from the first version just made all pretty for the next gen system as we all wait for God Of War IV or some other iteration to be created as teased by Cory Barlog at the PSX event last year. Ten more tracks are added to the ever growing list of Guitar Hero Live songs and now there is also a pre-order incentive for those who want to secure Guitar Hero Live before launch Because we all know that we need a solid Guitar Hero Live set-list to work with it looks like we have ten more tracks to add to the list of songs we can rock out to on October 20th. FreeStyleGames has their work cut out for them to do this but as long as they keep the tunes flowing for Guitar Hero Live I doubt anyone will take up issue unless the controllers begin failing out of the box. If you needed more reasons to give God Of War III Remastered a go then we have it being compared side by side with God Of War III God Of War III Remastered is on the verge of launching on the PS4 to capture the hearts of all those new gamers who have not been able to play the game yet. I'm talking July 14th for those that haven't been keeping up with the times. It looks like we have another contender for scariest horror title as Allison Road is in the works to take up the mantle that P.T. was forced to drop I'll be the first to admit that the loss of P.T. and Silent Hills was a kick to the nuts with spiked, steel-toed boot. While At E3 I Got To See Guitar Hero Live In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Given the fact that Guitar Hero Live was announced and slightly shown off recently from FreeStyleGames and Activision it wouldn't be E3 without getting to see it in action. Especially since the controller scheme has been changed up as well as a bit of the gameplay. We have the new SOMA E3 trailer here to show us a bit more about the concept of the game as well as the release date for SOMA We are well into the E3 trailer season right now and next up happens to be a game I have been keeping a close eye on: SOMA. I've mentioned it many times before but for you newbies here this is the net sci-fi horror game from Frictional Games. It looked like another BioShock style game when first announced but SOMA has evolved, or at least the trailers have evolved, to show us something unique and not another plain knock off. Activision and FreeStyleGames has released the first set of tracks coming to Guitar Hero Live and it's not all to surprising So we've seen the idea behind Guitar Hero Live and what Activision and FreeStyleGames has in the pipeline for us but we all really want to know which rock stars we are going to be pretending to be in the virtual world. Yes the announcement event did give us a couple but we know that there is supposed to be a huge catalog of licenses artists and songs for us to play through. 'Leaked' videos and stills may be showing that we may have a new MediEvil title coming soon; possibly for the PS4 Update It turns out this is not a new MediEvil title in the works but a fan build based on the original title in the hopes to show Sony why there needs to be a new MediEvil title made. Kudos on the build as it does look production quality at the end of the day.
