Before I get in depth here for what I got to see and play for Resident Evil 6 I have to start off that this whole display was split more into two different parts. So that is kind of how I will break this down. The first part was focused more on the action and cross-story play and co-op of the campaign while the second part was some good old fashioned hands on time with a bit of Leon's story. E3 2012 Impressions: Metro: Last Light

Some may not know that while at E3 to see some of the titles you are interested in you sometimes have to sit through demos or presentations of games you have no interest in or may have barely heard of. This was the case for me, but it lead to a spectacular showing of Metro: Last Light. I had little to no clue about this horror FPS, outside of the live action trailer (see below), except that it is the sequel to Metro 2033. E3 2012 Hands On: Darksiders II

With a tagline of "Death Lives" you better know that I would be all over Darksiders II and boy was I at this year's E3. While THQ didn't have a huge booth to show off the game, it was being shown behind closed doors as well as playable for the first time. For the most part it plays like Darksiders, but there were some pretty cool and nice additions that I will now go over. Do not that this was not the final build of the game, but the features discussed will be making their way in. For all of those out there who played and loved Darksiders, you will be happy to know that, like mentioned the controls and movement of DS2 is almost if not exactly the same. Read More...

Dishonored Trailer For E3

Can we talk about Dishonored for a minute and can we talk about how creepy the trailer is. I mean honestly, the trailer is creepy. It is very Jack the Ripper. You're not going to get enough from this trailer to determine exactly what the hell is going on, ala Bethesda, but between the explosions, pretty fireworks and the creepiest soundtrack I have ever heard, I cannot wait to play. Nothing says creepy like a bunch of kids singing that shanties of the sea. What we do know so far, is that this seems to be a blend of BioShock and Assassin's Creed. Read More...

Skyrim Dawnguard - Skyrim's First Expansion

Finally! With a game this big it is a little surprising that Bethesda is ready to give us new DLC. Honestly, Skyrim has only been out since Last November (2011) and we are seven months from its release and already we are waiting for a full expansion pack called Dawnguard. Prepare yourself Dovakhiin; there are vampires in the woods.Seriously, check out the video below. Looks Like We Get Those 'What If?' Fights With Injustice: Gods Among Us

Konami Pre-E3 Conference Recap

Goodbye 38 Studios?

According to WPRI.com, 38 Studios has laid off its entire staff in Providence and Maryland yesterday afternoon. An email was sent to all 379 full time employees that said the following: "The Company is experiencing an economic downturn. To avoid further losses and possibility of retrenchment, the Company has decided that a companywide lay off is absolutely necessary. These layoffs are non-voluntary and non-disciplinary. Review: Starhawk

Starhawk has landed. From what I saw on all the social media sites, it must have been one of the most anticipated games to come to the PlayStation. One could kind of view it as a sequel to Warhawk, in spirit, but with a focus on single player this time out and not just multiplayer. Let's just jump right in and find out what I think of the game so you can decide to drop your money or not. The Story In the future humans start to move out into the galaxy and do what they do best, harvest natural resources and cause wars over energy. Death Strikes Again With A New Darksiders II CGI Trailer

Way back in March we got a nice little CGI trailer for Darksiders II. It was cool and beautiful, but it was only the first part of the promotional video. Lucky for us, below we have the next part of the clip which also leaves us wanting and waiting for the continuation of Death's badassitude. Yes it's a word. Deal with it. We Get Ambushed By The Latest 'The Last Of Us' Trailer

I'll be honest; I have not been overly excited about The Last Of Us. Go ahead and read any of my stuff on the game. With the past trailers and screens it really just feels like another post apocalypse game. To go further, it feels like Naughty Dog has paid off other sites and journalists to hype the game more than they should.
