Time For A Showdown In Dying Light: The Following & Be The Zombie
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dying Light Be The Zombie mode is back for Dying Light: The Following and it has been given a few tweaks and updates to make this 4v1 online experience in Dying Light even more intense with the new expansion Only a few days now until Dying Light: The Following is available for us all to enjoy. One would think that Techland had already shown us all the good stuff for the huge expansion so far but it looks like they had yet another thing up their sleeves. While it did make sense for it to still be in the game as it was on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC already, the Be The Zombie mode is coming back for Dying Light: The Following. Of course with the alterations included to make it balanced again given the new updates and changes coming with the expansion. Read More...

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Has A New Trailer & Beta Incoming
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst A new story trailer for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has been released as well as a closed beta for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to be signed up for has gone live Earlier this week we were told that we would get an update or something for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Here we are almost at the end of the week and it looks like DICE and EA have kept their word as we have a new story trailer for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to gawk at and enjoy. I was personally hoping to here that the game was getting an earlier release date than May 24th but it looks like the wait for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC is going to be just as long as we thought before. At least we have a new trailer I guess. Read More...

DOOM Is Finally Coming This May & Bringing Something Extra
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of February 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
DOOM The release date for DOOM has been set and we also have a nice, new collector's edition for DOOM to try and get us to drop even more money on the game The wait is almost over for DOOM, or at least in sight, as we now have a solid release date for the game and it is May 13th 2016. Looks like id Software has finally made it to a place in the development process where they feel they can dictate when DOOM hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC without worry of having to delay. Now mostly everything rests on Bethesda's shoulders to make sure we all know about DOOM and what to expect in this title even though the franchise has been around for over two decades. Hopefully you have a grasp on it so far. Read More...

Another Pair Of Badasses Join The Ranks Of Battleborn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Battleborn Two more characters join Battleborn as playable and we have a bit more gameplay for Battleborn to show off how they fit into the 5v5 multiplayer experience We can now bring the total number of characters revealed for Battleborn up to 20 out of the 25 as we have two more to add to the list. Not only two more characters to add but Gearbox has also given us some new gameplay footage for Battleborn to show off these new characters in all of their virtual glory. There is still plenty of time before the May 3rd release date for Battleborn to get those other five characters in there but there is a beta and promotions to be had for the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so I am sure they will be in short order to get out. Hitman Another promotional trailer for Hitman has come out and it helps dictate a little more on the overall story of Hitman's episodic journey as well as some of the items to be used If you had no clue that the new Hitman was about being in a world where assassination is key then you have no clue what the franchise is about. Luckily for those not in the know Io Interactive has a new trailer for us all to take in to get us hyped for Hitman's eminent release on March 11th in terms of the first episode and PS4 exclusive contract. The PC and Xbox One gamers get only the core episode of Hitman on that date so don't fret too much. Read More...

Visually Stunning Horror Game Kholat Is Coming To The PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Kholat Horror title Kholat is making the leap from PC to PS4 so more gamers can know what happened in the real world events that inspired Kholat from the start Last year an interesting little game by the name of Kholat was released on the PC. While not your traditional horror experience when it comes to video games, IMGN.PRO was able to recreate a fun, beautiful, and terrifying gaming experience based on some truly terrifying real events. The only issue I had when Kholat was released was that I didn't have a PC that could run the game well enough to do the game justice. Read More...

The Plants Of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Come In Varieties
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of February 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Garden Warfare 2 A new gameplay video for Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is out and it shows off some of the other plant types we will play in Garden Warfare 2 outside of the norm You would be daft to think that Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 was going to deviate from the normal set up that we had in the previous game when it came to variants to the core classes/characters. I'm not talking a few new skins that PopCap Games threw together to make it feel like there is something completely different for each of the characters but in some cases, hopefully in Garden Warfare 2, these added different gameplay features into the mix. Now we have a nice view of some of the other Plants coming to the game when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 23rd. Read More...

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Is Coming To Expand The Universe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of February 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Star Wars LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has just been announced and coming later this year to further expand the Star Wars universe in a way that only LEGO can do We all figured it was coming but now we have an official announcement for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I would have thought that TT Games would have tried to get this out closer to the release of the film to try and capitalize on all of that at the time but it just wasn't in the cards I guess. Maybe Warner Bros. couldn't secure the needed materials to make LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens back then. Read More...

Street Fighter V A new trailer for Street Fighter V has made its way out and shows off all of the launch modes that will be included in Street Fighter V once the game goes live If you thought that Street Fighter V was going to be some basic fighting game where there was only one way to play over and over then you were mostly wrong. I say mostly as it looks like Capcom has released another new trailer for Street Fighter V that shows off all of the different modes of gameplay that will be coming when the game launches on February 16th for the PC and PS4. The mostly kicks in when you see that all of them are the same match system in Street Fighter V only with different outcomes and scores at the end. Read More...

It is a pretty icon look and killer for us all to know. Of course that is for the film franchise and not Friday The 13th: The Game that Gun Media is still aiming to get to us sometime this Fall for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Since its announcement it has looked like Ubisoft has put a lot of care and effort into making Far Cry Primal be the best title to hit the franchise. Especially since most titles out there in the same vein all revolve around badass marines or who has the best fire power. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Hellblade The latest Hellblade developer diary has been released and it shows off some of the great work that has been done on Hellblade's movements and controls Here we go with yet another developer diary for Hellblade and this time we are looking at how the movement and controls for the game have been specially crafted by Ninja Theory. It may not sound like it would be that impressive but given the size of the team and what we get to see here you may be singing a different tune. Hopefully you remember that the Hellblade team is still on the small side and with only two animators here. Read More...

Insomniac's Next Title Has Been Announced As Song Of The Deep
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Song Of The Deep Another title from Insomniac has been announced called Song Of The Deep and we have the first trailer for Song Of The Deep as well as how this game will be played out It looks like Insomniac Games has been working on more than we thought over since their last major release as now we have another title from them on the way in form of Song Of The Deep. This is a brand new IP for them in the gameplay style of "Metroidvania" that takes place in an underwater setting where we follow the tale of Merryn who is trying to find her father who is lost in the depths of the sea. Not a horrible kind of setting for Song Of The Deep although I will say the tease and name did lead me to think we were going to see a horror game but first impressions are not always correct.
