South Park
A new video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and it pokes fun at the Oculus Rift in only a way that South Park can
Hopefully by now you are fully aware of the crude and toilet humor that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to have mixed into the game. If you clicked in here than you have to know as the franchise is heading into its 20 season and this will be Ubisoft's second major foray into crafting an RPG for the franchise. It is still slated for a December 6th release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC before you fear that it was delayed but it does look like Gamescom may have something stinky from this South Park title on hand during the major convention.
I know I personally hoping this is a huge joke but it we are to believe the latest marketing attempt for South Park: The Fractured But Whole it looks like there may be a fart experience for those in attendance at the convention. While this "Nosulus Rift" does look like more of a joking way to immerse players into the game by smelling the farts of the protagonist I can see it also being something real to get people talking more. Not real as in an actual product but something designed just for those who want to give a demo of the game a solid play through. I'd hope that they wouldn't go out of their way to make this a real thing.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole — Nosulus Rift Experience
Of course this is all a huge joke pointed at the VR play of the Oculus Rift for those a little slow on the uptake but it does look like something Ubisoft may actually look into just to have another bundle of The Fractured But Whole to try and get players to purchase. Even if it didn't work and was just something to have bundled I can see it done. I guess we'll all find out when Gamescom kicks off and they show off what they have for South Park: The Fractured But Whole out there. Hopefully in more than just the Coon's layer/museum format we've had already.
Be honest, did you laugh at the Nosulus here for South Park: The Fractured But Whole? Do you think this will be an exclusive event only experience or do you think they might make prototypes to sell in a bundle of the game? Would you wait in line to have this experience if it did turn out to be a real thing? Let us know and feel free to discuss in the comments below. Hopefully more gameplay for South Park: The Fractured But Whole will land soon and not just marketing stunts. When and if they do, be sure to stay right here as well bring those updates as they come.
