by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead A trailer for the next episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season is here with a look forward and a few callbacks to The Walking Dead franchise Next week we will be digging back into the story of The Walking Dead: The Final Season and seeing how everything will wrap up. We should know this already as Skybound gave us that release date not too long ago after picking up the shattered pieces of the original development team. We will see the end to Clem's story on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We will also get to see just how the house that made The Walking Dead will influence things to bring the story deeper into the world some of us have been enjoying for quite a while. Read More...

Unreal PT Is Here To Try To Recapture The Demo We All Loved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
PT Another attempt to recreate PT is here with Unreal PT bringing everything we know about the demo to life and in VR this time If there has been one game/demo that caused a whole lot of stir when it dropped it would have to be PT. It was nothing more than a promotional thing for another game that was canceled, but it caught the hearts and minds of so many gamers out there that it became not only an amazing PS4 experience but had others trying to recreate the whole thing. Usually these have been met swiftly with cease and desist notices being sent to whoever is doing so. That is why we are going to spread the word now that we have another entry into the phenomenon with Unreal PT so you can hopefully download it and see just what a load of passion and time can do for PC gamers who may have missed out. Feudal Alloy Has A Set Release Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Feudal Alloy The release date for Feudal Alloy is now set down and we can expect to be playing Feudal Alloy very soon Almost a year after we first heard of Feudal Alloy over here, we are seeing the game finally come to market. Yes, that means that the release date has been set down and we can expect to play this game from Attu Games on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch on January 17th. Not much time between now and then, but that just makes it all that much better. I mean, we could be waiting until 2020 to play Feudal Alloy and I would be rather put off at that point. Read More...

Fallout 76 Will Be Getting More Vaults & Player Vending
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Fallout The first update coming to Fallout 76 for 2019 has a few more details now with one being a solution to what Fallout 76 players have started No matter where you stand with Fallout 76, you have to admit that it looks like Bethesda is trying to do the right thing with the game. Sure, there have been missteps and many fans out there who have been completely let down by the game as it was not what they were expecting, but at least it has not been completely abandoned and we are seeing more updates to the game. More than just bug fixes too as we have yet another update for Fallout 76 that sounds like it will be bringing along some new things to the game as well as solve some of the issues that players have fixed themselves. At least fixed without having true Mod support for the game. Read More...

Bright Memory Is Hitting Early Access Very Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Bright Memory The first-person Hack-N-Slash FPS, Bright Memory, will be coming to Early Access on Steam with about a third of Bright Memory’s content If you have been paying attention to smaller developers out there then you may remember a little title named Bright Memory that was granted funds and had a team of one working on it. It looks to be a blending of hack-n-slash gameplay with a bit of an FPS mixed in and now it looks like we will be able to give it a go on January 12th. That is when Bright Memory is heading to early access over on Steam so those interested in the game can see how it has come along since it was first showcased in 2017. Read More...

Ubisoft Seems To Be Teasing Something In One Of Their Franchises
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Ubisoft A new tease from Ubisoft is out there that could be leading to a major announcement for one of Ubisoft’s franchises There may be a big announcement out of Ubisoft here in the not too distant future as it seems like they are teasing something. At least that is how many have been taking it based on things popping up in Ghost Recon: Wildlands and now a teaser video that has been placed out there. It could also mean nothing at all, but given how the internet runs now, it has led to murmurs of a new Tom Clancy game or maybe even a new sequel to one of Ubisoft's other titles. At least given the content in the video here. Read More...

Leon’s Backstory Is A Bit Different In The Resident Evil 2 Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil It has been pointed out that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be changing Leon’s backstory a bit than we knew in Resident Evil 2 The differences from the Resident Evil 2 Remake and the original game are growing outside of just visuals and a bit of level design as it has been spotted that story elements are being shifted a bit too. This is something I always figured Capcom would do here too, but now we have more proof as it looks like Leon's backstory is getting shifted a bit too. Some say to a less dark place than we knew in the original Resident Evil 2, but it feels a bit more fitting given what we will be experiencing in the game. Read More...

Devil May Cry 5 Will Have Some Odd Live-Action Mixed In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Devil May Cry A new tease for the live-action parts of Devil May Cry 5 have been revealed and it looks just as odd as Devil May Cry has ever looked before One of the more odd things added into the Deluxe Edition of Devil May Cry 5 has to be the inclusion of live-action options for the cutscenes in the game. Given that this edition is the only way to unlock them during the game is the first part, but also it is live-action mixed into an all-digital game. It seems like a waste of money on Capcom's end, but they are going to do what they are going to do. Read More...

Relive The Story That Will Lead Up To Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Metro A nice recap of the Metro story so far is here to get us all ready for when Metro Exodus finally launches next year It has been some time between the last title in the series and when we will be seeing Metro Exodus. About five years or so have passed by in the real world and about two in the game world. There is a whole lot of information that we could have missed or let slip through since 4A Games delivered us a title in the franchise. That means that there is a lot riding on Metro Exodus at this point so we may need to recap a few things before diving in on February 15th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Jump Force A few more characters for Jump Force are here to look at as the roster for Jump Force expands just a little bit more before launch It is getting close to launch and we still have more characters coming for Jump Force as we have another video that shows some off. At least one new one and then one that was announced by Bandai Namco already and getting the flashing showing now. Unless you have seen Deku from My Hero Academia and/or Asta from Black Clover in the past for Jump Force before last week. I do not think I have, so we will treat them as fully new for our purposes. Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Afterlife The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. Control’s World Is Expanded Just A Bit More Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Control The next trailer for Control is here to take us back into the Oldest House again and show off more of what the Federal Bureau of Control are dealing with Get ready for more of that “new weird” we keep hearing about for Control as we have yet another trailer for the game that goes into just a bit more of all of that. Not too much as it looks to be a lot of the same visuals we have had a few times, but there is some new narration that further explains a bit more of the history in the world being built by Remedy here. That is always a good thing when dealing such strangeness as we have since Control was first announced. Read More...
