Guitar Hero is being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame This press release announces a deal that Activision will sponsor a guitar exhibit in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the Guitar Hero franchise. This will include a set-up at the HoF in Cleveland ("All the little kids growing up on the skids are goin' Cleveland rocks, Cleveland rocks!") where the game can be played as well as sponsorship of the Hall's 2008 induction ceremony in New York City this coming Monday. Spore gets sexier and sexier Today Apple showed off applications that are being made with the new developer sdk for the iPhone. All iPhone customers will be receiving a free update in June to be able to download the applications. Until June, the program is in beta. Games will also be coming to the iPhone. Full versions of both Super Monkey Ball and Spore were shown and playable on the iPhone. EA states that the full version of Spore will be released for the iPhone. Read More...

Circuit City Has A PS3 Return Policy For HD-DVD Players Ok, now this one isn't the online scams and such that you get spammed with every time you log online or do a search for the PS3. Circuit City has announced that they will take back any HD-DVD players and exchange them for a nice shiny new Blu-Ray player. The customer still has to pay the difference, but you can also take back a player you bought no more than a couple months ago. The worst video game film maker, Uwe Boll, challenges the great Uwe Boll lives in some alternate universe and I don't know whether to laugh or to pity him. Rumor: Europe Might Be Getting A Xbox 360 Price Cut So yesterday I talked about how and why the PS3 might get a much needed price slash. Now it turns out that the Xbox 360 might be getting one as well. The big difference in these two stories is that this one seems more like a fact than a rumor, unlike the PS3 report. This should go into effect some time before the Easter sales period and it is reported to be a 50 EUR drop down on all systems. Japan Gets A New Color For The PSP - Bronze Not only do they get all the new stuff first, they also get all the other iterations of colored PSPs. Coming on the 24th of April, they can add yet another color to their arsenal of colored PSP. It will be a Bronze color, like the title said (Yea I know, big surprise right?).
