Almost like it has been twelve years or something and a lot of attempts and such downs but at least it is still on. On and launching on May 3rd here in the US. It is almost too hard to believe, but the below screen shots and trailer for the game are below and I don't think that Gearbox would be that cruel to tease us with a fake video and shots. So I'm Guessing This Is The PSP 2

Earlier today (1/24/2011) one of the outlets that give out a lot of PlaySation news slipped out an image of what could easily be the PSP 2 through a yfrog account. It has since been pulled down with the image being replaced with a nice "Removed Due To Violation of ToS" image so no one can see it any more. Well you lucked out that I was on the case and was able to snag not only the image but a screen shot of the page which you can see below. Now it is rumored that there will be an announcement for this later in the week, I'd say that this all but confirms it is on the plate for announcement. Read More...

Rule Of 3 And The Gears Of War Compilation

So just as Sony did when GoWIII was hitting its console, Epic is doing the same for GoW3 for the 360. Those titles being God of War III and Gears of War 3 respectfully before I move on. So yes this means that if for some reason you held out on getting either of the Gears of War titles, you can look forward to getting a combo pack with both of those games on disc to catch you up with everything before the big daddy hits. I say it is odd because Square Enix tried this before with FFX-2 which didn't do as well as any of their wholly new story lined titles with Final Fantasy in the title. PS3 Player Can Portal Into PCs For Free

Well here's an interesting little tidbit of news. Any gamer that purchases Portal 2 on the PlayStation 3 will get FREE access to play the game from their Steam client. Think like a digital copy that comes with most BluRay films nowadays. Oh, but wait, there is more. Not only do you get a "free" copy of the game for PC, and technically Mac, but the two systems will be able to communicate with each other to allow for co-op play between the PS3 and PC/Mac. By communicate I am not only talking for play, but you will be able to actually chat with the other player and I'm not talking by screaming really loud. Sackboy is back and he is bringing a team of new characters, features and mini-games for the PS3's answer to Nintendo's Mario. Well Super Mario Bros. if you were then allowed to mod the game and pass out your mod to a huge network of players online. If you have not yet heard of LittleBigPlanet or LittleBigPlanet 2 you have been living a very sheltered life. Ok, so I might have to eat my previous words about the reboot for Tomb Raider. I may have been a bit quick to judge but in my defense that was back before anything real or tangible had been seen. We Got To See A Hydra Use A Portal At CES

DC Universe Online Taking On All New Heroes

Sony Now Has An App For That

SCEE has finally let loose the app they announced back in December that will allow PlayStation fans to do pretty much what XBox fans have been doing for a long while now. That is access all their stats, news and talk about all things on their chosen console. Man that took a while to get out there. I totally can't wait to use it to keep up on my friends and trophies. Oh wait… I can't… It is only for people with European accounts.
