Let's Compare More God Of War III Remastered To The Original
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of July 2015 - 06:59 PM ]
If you needed more reasons to give God Of War III Remastered a go then we have it being compared side by side with God Of War III God Of War III Remastered is on the verge of launching on the PS4 to capture the hearts of all those new gamers who have not been able to play the game yet. I'm talking July 14th for those that haven't been keeping up with the times. Sony Santa Monica has taken great care to make sure we can have this PS3 title on the PS4 so we should all be getting excited. It is only the ending of sorts to the franchise's story (so far) and we need to make sure that everyone gets to play that on the PS4 even if they have yet to play the first God Of War titles not native to the PS4 just yet. Multiple Ways To Complete The E3 Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new video has been released to show off all of the different ways you will be able to play missions in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain If you thought what you saw for the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 demo was everything you needed to see until it releases on September 1st then you are a bit mistaken. Just as it was the case in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Kojima Productions has completely set up every mission to be handled in various manners. Some of them are stealthy like we have already seen while other are a straight up air assault on the compounds in the game. Read More...

A Bit Of Story & A Trailer For Minecraft: Story Mode Have Released
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
During Minecon 2015 the first bit of story for Minecraft: Story Mode, as well as a trailer, have been released with all the Minecraft goodness included We've waited patiently for anything new for Minecraft: Story Mode since its first announcement and now we have a bit more to work with. It would make sense that Telltale would wait until Minecon to release all of this as it is the Minecraft convention and all. I never in this life cycle thought I would say that we needed or had a want for a Minecraft convention but we do and this is where Minecraft: Story Mode was first shown off to the world. That and the internet but that should be a given. Read More...

Here's That Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain 2015 E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
For those who were not able to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in action at E3 2015 we have you covered with over 40 minutes of The Phantom Pain gameplay Not too surprising was the fact that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was one of the big titles that Konami had on the show floor for many to see at E3. What was a bit surprising, especially given all of the Kojima Productions drama, was the fact that their main demo was out in the open for all to see at specific intervals during the show. I would have thought that they would have had The Phantom Pain behind closed doors to keep questions to a minimum as they have in the past but I guess with the September 1st release date coming they wanted as many players seeing why they should pick up The Phantom Pain for their PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PC. E3 2015 Hands On — Blood Bowl 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Blood Bowl 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It E3 isn't always about the biggest and best AAA titles but also little gems like Blood Bowl 2. This would be the fantasy, strategy title from Cyanide Studios and Focus Home all set around an epic football game where there are little to no rules that need to be abided by. At least when it comes to the safety of the players on the field. Fans of the franchise should already be well aware of all of that for Blood Bowl 2 but none the less I was able to get my hands on it at the show well before the September release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. Watch PlayStation's 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of June 2015 - 01:13 AM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The PlayStation Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below He we go for the wrap of the day's press events at E3 with PlayStation's big showcasing. Always going last in the list of things and trying to save the best for last to take on the rivals and have something to show that hasn't been shown at any of the other events thus far. Maybe we will hear that PlayStation 4 will be fully backwards compatible just as the Xbox One was announced. That would be a huge kicker outside of seeing Uncharted 4 in action as well as most likely seeing something for Final Fantasy XV and/or Kingdom Hearts 3. Read More...

Now We Know When Everybody's Gone To The Rapture
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new teaser trailer for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture has been released with the best information being the released date for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture It feels kind of weird as this could have been a better part of the E3 announcements but now we have a release date for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture. I'm not going to complain because I been overly intrigued with what The Chinese Room and Santa Monica Studios have been cooking up for the game since it first came on the scene but this announcement, and trailer, feel like it would have been better placed during the larger PlayStation conference in a few days where it would get to stand with all of the other PS4, PS3, and PS Vita titles that will be on display. Maybe they just didn't want Everybody's Gone To The Rapture to get lost in the hustle and bustle there. Read More...

King's Quest Looks To Be A Hand Painted Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for King's Quest has been released showing off how the artists make King's Quest look the way it does We've already heard how King's Quest is going to sound and a bit of how it is going to look but do we really know? Do we really know all of the blood, sweat, tears, paint, and love that The Odd Gentlemen are putting into the game? Of course we can all assume at this point or King's Quest wouldn't have been allowed to be made but what tells us better is a nice, handy, behind-the-scenes video. Such a video that we have just a bit lower so we can see how King's Quest is being made to look like things are hand painted from the ground up. Read More...

Watch Hades Rule Again In God Of War III Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of May 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
A new video for the God Of War III Remastered version coming to the PS4 has been released showing off the epic Hades boss battle The title here should really say it all but just in case, we have some new footage for God Of War III Remastered and this time it is the entire boss fight with my main man Hades. All of course in 1080p running at 60 frames per second so we can all get a good feeling for what we can expect to see from the remastered version Sony Santa Monica has been working on to bring us. Not a bad choice of fight or scene to bring us to show off God Of War III Remastered's new visuals if I do say so myself but of course I am a bit bias here. Read More...

Regardless of when, we all know a new Fallout game is coming. Read More...

Many Reasons Just To Listen To The King's Quest Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for King's Quest has been released showing off the voice cast that will help The Odd Gentlemen bring King's Quest to life With a great narrative franchise like King's Quest has had and what we expect in our games moving forward, The Odd Gentlemen have their work cut out for them. Especially give the franchise's past and what nostalgic gamers are going to want to see from the new iteration of the franchise. I don't envy the developer at all here as they have a huge light on them and fans of the franchise over the long run will be rough. Read More...

A New Look At The Vast Empty Of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of April 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
Thirteen more minutes of gameplay for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture have been released to show off the vastness of the game's world and AI Yesterday we had a nice little look at the tone of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture as well as a bit more to the soundtrack of the game. Santa Monica Studios and The Chinese Room are really hitting that loneliness angle home here as even the gameplay we have only shows how big the game's world will be and how empty it will be. You know, because Everybody's Gone To The Rapture. There shouldn't be too many humans still running around the Earth and all right? Read More...
