by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of August 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange See the opening minutes of Life Is Strange 2 here and ass how much heavier this addition to Life Is Strange will be starting off It looks like we do not need to wait until September 27th to see how Life Is Strange 2 is going to start off. That is unless you want to walk into DontNod's next installment completely in the dark. I say this as it looks like we have the first twenty minutes of Life Is Strange 2's first episode here to look at and take in. Obviously, if you move forward with everything here you know you are walking into spoilers for the game's story. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of August 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Metro A new trailer for Metro Exodus has released from Gamescom to show us how much darker the world of Metro can get as we travel above ground As if the horrors of walking around in the world of Metro Exodus were not enough, we have even more to look out for and the latest trailer from Gamescom nails this home a bit more. So far from what 4A Games has shown the world for the game, it has not been too bleak or dark. At least in terms of more than what we already have been getting in the franchise thus far. Read More...

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Athens Will Feel Much Like The Real One
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed New videos for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey have released and give us a view of the Athens of the Assassin’s Creed universe and more naval combat If there is one thing that Assassin’s Creed has been known for it is the look and feel of the locations. At least after we get past all of the murder, historical stories, and other gameplay aspects we have seen in the past. That still does not change the fact that so far Ubisoft has done a great job capturing the locations and feeling of the era in their settings. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is not going to be any different and now we have further proof that we will be whisked back to Ancient Greece in the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus The pre-orders are up for Metro Exodus and with that comes all of the other ways you can pick up Metro Exodus before launch February 22nd is still a ways off, but now you can make sure you secure your copy of Metro Exodus well in advance. That is right. The pre-orders for the game have gone up and 4A Games is ready for you to throw down your cash and prove to Deep Silver that the game will bring the money back in. Not that anyone had much of a worry about that just yet. We just needed a fancier way of saying that the pre-orders are out there for Metro Exodus and that there will be a few different options for said pre-order. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed The next Behind The Odyssey video for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here, as well as a look at the box art for the other character in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Here we go with the next of the “Behind The Odyssey!” for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This one takes us deeper into the combat of the game and gives us all a small look at how Ubisoft has taken what they did in Origins and moved everything a bit forward. I say a bit, as they did a great job before and I think they only need to make things fit better for the new characters and backgrounds they will have in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey compared to the last game. Something that looks like they have done well so far. Read More...

Take A Little Bit Of The Hippocratic Oath In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of August 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed More gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here to show us how missions can play out differently than a tradition Assassin’s Creed mission Add another mission from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to have a look at here. One more in the growing list of them and there does not seem to be a sign that they are slowing down. Given how many that Ubisoft crammed in the last game, I would not be surprised to see even more out there and still not scraped the surface of what the full game will hold. More so as this latest mission highlights one of the new features coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in the manner of player choice will change the flow of the game. Read More...

God Of War New Game+ is coming to God Of War so you can relive the epic tale with everything you unlocked already in God Of War, and much more It comes as no surprise, but we now have a release date for the announced New Game+ mode for God Of War. We heard about it a while back from Santa Monica Studio when they were talking about the Photo Mode, but now we know this will hit the PS4 on August 20th. At least for those who have completed one play through of God Of War already. It will only unlock at that point and that should not be too big of a surprise given the name and how the mode works in every other game out there. Read More...

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Will Offer Up More Combat Abilities Than Before
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A new showcase of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s combat options is here to give us more ways to kill and hunt in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey With Assassin’s Creed Odyssey being set in the lands of Ancient Greece and us taking on the role of a Spartan, it makes sense that we will have a whole lot more added to the combat of the game. It would be a huge miss if this was not the case, but given what we have here to look at, it does look like Ubisoft is taking full advantage of it and adding to the winning design that they have found again in the franchise. If you have not figured it out yet, we are here to look at more combat and hunter abilities and skills in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/9/18 — 7/13/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of July 2018 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the books now. As usual, there was a lot to look at and take in, but a rather slow week in general. Granted, we did have the big news for Darksiders III here with a load of new gameplay and one of the coolest collector's editions I have seen for many video games in a while. We also had a nice look at the upcoming Spyro trilogy that is on its way as well as some updates for Far Cry 5 and the delay of Code Vein again. Maybe we should not have ended on that note.
