by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 30th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Catherine A new trailer for Catherine: Full Body is here to take us into more of the new aspects of the game as well as other new scenes to expect in Catherine One more trailer is out for Catherine: Full Body to remind us that this version of the game is not only coming, but also it will house a few new scenes and elements that were not in its original release. This is not the larger of shocks as this version of the game is already out there from Atlus in the Japanese market. This is more of a reminder for the Western markets that this new version of Catherine is coming and will have more to it. Read More...

Ukyo Is Here For The Fight & The Ladies In Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of April 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here to be looked at and looks to add some extra weird bits to Samurai Shodown in the longer run It is that time again to take a look at one more character coming to Samurai Shodown this June and this time it is Ukyo. A ladies man type of character that looks to use a quick draw technique to take down all of his foes. It all seems a bit odd to state that way, but it is how SNK has offered it up and showed us in the latest trailer we have. Sadly, it is another trailer that does not give much in the way of context on how Ukyo will actually function in Samurai Shodown, but it is something to look at an speculate on. Read More...

The Thinbloods Are Coming To Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The first “clan” we get to play in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here as we will be starting as a Thinblood in Bloodlines 2 Here we go with the first clan introduction for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 and this one… is not truly a clan. Fans of the tabletop version of the game can see where I am going with this but for the rest out there, we are looking at the Thinbloods in the game. A more modern style vampire that is missing all of the fun and ancient parts of all of the other clans but still a vampire. It is something new to look at from Hardsuit Labs for Bloodlines 2 though, so we will at least take that. Read More...

Life Is Strange 2 Teases Us All With Some Special Kind Of Fun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange A new teaser for Life Is Strange 2's third episode shows the cast of Life Is Strange 2 heading into a special kind of nettle field Color me surprised that we did not get more of these kinds of trailers like the one we have here for the next episode of Life Is Strange 2. That being ones that try to dive into the made-up holiday to celebrate the 20th of April. It looks like DontNod did not want to be left out of it all as we await the third episode of the game and see how everything will progress for the boys. It looks like it will take a smelly path given the setting of Life Is Strange 2, but with little to no context in it all. Read More...

Darli Dagger Is Here To Cut Down The Competition In Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The next character for Samurai Shodown is here with Darli Dagger as the roster for Samurai Shodown keeps expanding with many more fighters Here we go with another character coming to Samurai Shodown when it launches in June for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. A newcomer has entered the fight as SNK presents us all with Darli Dagger and her interesting weapon of choice. Or should we say weapons of choice as it looks like she has two solid on in the mix here? Not the weirdest thing for Samurai Shodown, but it is worth noting as some people have missed it here in the following trailer we have. Read More...

It Is Time To Meet Nakoruru From The Upcoming Samurai Shodown
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown A new video series for Samurai Shodown is here to take us through the characters of Samurai Shodown and here is the first one There have been looks at the characters for the upcoming Samurai Shodown already, but none of them have featured one character specifically at a time thus far. This is apparently an issue out there that needs to be rectified. How are we supposed to get an understanding of a specific character in the game if SNK will not just show them doing their thing? Have A New Lesson On The Gameplay Of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Ancestors A new developer series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has started with the first going into the exploration of Ancestors’ map A new taste for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is here in the way of a developer diary of sorts to take us on a bit more of the exploration in the game. Specifically that feature in the game as Panache Digital Games has opted to leave out the maps for us and require us to do it all on our own. Not the worst of ideas, but it will be a shift from what we know in open world games like Ancestors. Read More...

Samurai Shodown Is Hitting A Few Consoles This Coming June
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Samurai Shodown The release window for Samurai Shodown on the PS4 and Xbox One is now set with gamers having the chance to play Samurai Shodown during PAX East this year It was announced not too long ago, but now we get to see that Samurai Shodown is coming back to us sometime in June this year. At least for those who are planning to pick up the game for the PS4 and Xbox One as it looks like the Switch and PC gamers will need to wait until closer to the end of the year for this. The reason for that is not truly out there from SNK but that is how it is for now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/18/19 — 3/22/19
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Such a huge week for all video games this was and I am not talking about just having GDC come and go. While there was a whole lot that came out of that, there was also a whole lot that came out outside of the major convention. From the multiple announcements from the various System Shock titles to the constant updates of Mortal Kombat 11 we also had. All to the biggest news, for me at least, with Bloodline 2 having the announcement and more coming to Mutant Year Zero. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Is No Longer A Hidden Secret
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The announcement is here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 with Bloodlines 2 aiming for a Q1 2020 release window Words cannot describe how excited I am as Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is now announced, but I will do my best here. Even though there is not much in the way of details for the game and an announcement trailer from Paradox Interactive to take in, we now know that all of the rumors from the past are now truths. All with Hardsuit Labs behind the screen developing the game and setting us up for a fun Q1 in 2020. Not only that, but it also looks like Bloodlines 2 will be hitting up the PS4 and Xbox One alongside a solid PC release. Read More...
