Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou, an upcoming japanese title on the Nintendo Wii, has released its latest trailer featuring Aya Hirano. The game features a dancing mode, which Aya shows off in this trailer, and the moves you make with the Wiimote simulate those of the actual dancing. For those who may not know, the game is based off of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Aya Hirano is the actual voice actress of Haruhi in Japan. The dance featured is also from hare Hare Yukai, which is the ending theme for the anime. The game is currently set for release in Japan, January 22nd 2009. Read More...

Hideo Kojima said to wait a few more weeks for a public announcement on a upcoming Metal Gear project. But scans from Famitsu pretty much spoiled it. Metal Gear is coming to the Iphone. Konami have also given us some details on the game. It's an original title in the MGS4 world with 8 stages with more to be made soon and obviously controlled by the touchpad. Throughout the gameplay you will receive bonus points witch will allow you unlock some neat stuff such as MGS wallpaper. The game is due for a world wide release in Spring 2009. Read More...

Give a video game franchise enough time and eventually it stops being about attracting new fans and the focus switches to catering to the hardcore fanbase. It happened to the Dynasty Warriors series, it happened to pretty much any EA Sports series, and it happened to Armored Core. So with the release of Armored Core For Answer, the thirteenth game in the series, it’s no surprise that even with Ubisoft taking over as publishers, developers From Software have stuck with the two basic elements of an Armored Core game. Fast and crazy action and a ton of customization. As a result, it pretty much means that if you’re a fan, you’ll still like this game even if you did buy Armored Core 4 sometime over the course of the last twelve months. Read More...

The last time we saw a James Bond video game that tied into a movie was the release of The World is Not Enough in November of 2000 and it wasn’t so hot. Since then there have been a handful of very good games based on original Bond stories and then of course there was an adaptation of From Russia with Love which once again fell a little short of expectations. But now Bond is going through a reboot phase in the movies, and with the license switching hands from EA to Activision, the latest Bond game Quantum of Solace, has gone through some similar changes. Time Hollow is a point and click adventure game from Konami for the Nintendo DS written by Junko Kawano of Shadow of Destiny and Suikoden IV fame. The story is about a young high school kid named Ethan Kairos. He lives with his mom and dad, until one night he has a horrible nightmare. During the nightmare, his mom and dad are trapped in a fire, and escape through a portal. After awaking from the dream, he finds that his parents have been missing for twelve years and he now lives with his uncle. Turns out Harmonix is giving us Nine new songs before the week is out. There are various singles from various bands (Unfortunatly Two are from the Nickelodeon band The Naked Brothers). These songs apparentley cast a wide net over different ages, genres, language, demographic and pricing structure. Along with the obligatory "paid for" tracks from aritsts like Children of Bodom, Finley,Platero y Tu, Squeeze, Tokio Hotel and the All-American Rejects there is a free track from Miranda Cosgrove called "Headphones On".
