Hey I remember when The Darkness came out. I also remember I was not able to play it due to my lack of fundage but I did get to take the demo for a whirl. Obviously not enough to make any decent or well informed judgment on the game. Nor any good point of reference for the announcement of the sequel that has just been announced quite simply named The Darkness II. Well look what just popped up in my inbox, new Dungeon Siege III screens and some good looking game play video. It was only last week that Square Enix announced an official release date. Let the countdown begin. The coming battle for the Kingdom of Ehb draws near! For those of you that need a little refresher Dungeon Siege III is the continuation of the Dungeon Siege franchise from Gas Powered Games, except this time it's being brought to you by Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment, two well known names in the RPG gaming world. Ok, so we can't really say that he wins as it is only a screen shot of Jax beating down Striker in the new Mortal Kombat, but it is a fun title. Not to mention that with the way Striker's face is being slammed it is easy to extrapolate the end results of the fight to that end. I mean unless it is a lucky shot and Jax is just going to have a cap busted in his ass when Striker gets back up. It is also nice to see a few more views of the new game as well in between the fun little videos that Nether Realm pumps out every now and then. Catwoman and Poison Ivy have nothing on Harleen Quinzel in my book. It's that little spark of true insanity that gives her that little edge for me. When you mix that with the new shot of her from Batman: Arkham City you can bet that she gets added into the "fictional character spank bank." All because you know she would teach you a thing or two about the wild side before trying to shove her oversize mallet down your throat to get a better squishy sound for Whack-A-Bat. Today Guardians of Graxia (Reviewed here) is getting its first full expansion pack Elves and Dwarves. With the new expansion come new guardians, new units, new abilities and six new skirmish maps. It's a pretty big deal. New Guardians First out of the gate are the new guardians, GoG is introducing a new elf and dwarf Guardian with corresponding units. Now here is an interesting twist that could occur with the upcoming Batman: Arkham City, co-op play with the Clown Prince of Crime! At least from a video that seems to have been leaked out through a few European websites that shows just that. A nice little fight scene where Batman and Joker fight off a few waves of thugs in the streets of Arkham City. Pretty cool if it is a real thing and not some fan's attempt at internet humor and fame. Rockstar Games just released a new game play trailer for their upcoming title, L.A. Noire. Oh and the release date of May 17th here in the US. So just as Sony did when GoWIII was hitting its console, Epic is doing the same for GoW3 for the 360. Those titles being God of War III and Gears of War 3 respectfully before I move on. So yes this means that if for some reason you held out on getting either of the Gears of War titles, you can look forward to getting a combo pack with both of those games on disc to catch you up with everything before the big daddy hits. Sackboy is back and he is bringing a team of new characters, features and mini-games for the PS3's answer to Nintendo's Mario. Well Super Mario Bros. if you were then allowed to mod the game and pass out your mod to a huge network of players online. If you have not yet heard of LittleBigPlanet or LittleBigPlanet 2 you have been living a very sheltered life. So here is further proof that an FPS can have a good story mixed in without the need for multi-player being the selling point. I mean let's face it, Killzone is not the franchise that all you multi-player freaks hop right out to go play. Don't you even try to deny it or swear that you do. It's official, Torchlight is coming to XBox Live Arcade and it's completely changing the way you play the Torchlight series. Runic Games announced it's popular RPG, Torchlight will be released with the upcoming House Party series on XBLA. Before we get into this further, there are currently no talks of putting the game on PSN.
