Friday The 13th New gameplay for Friday The 13th: The Game has been showcased from the beta as well as stats for Friday The 13th's counselors and Jasons that we will get to play The beta for Friday The 13th: The Game has finally kicked off for friends and family with the game's backers getting a chance to join in here real soon. Not only will it give us all a taste of what a closer to final version of the game will play like, even though we will be facing off against Illfonic who know all the little tricks in the game already, but we will finally be getting some solid explanations on how some of the gameplay mechanics work in the game. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site There goes yet another week with a whole lot of video games in the mix to talk about and boy did we. We even had a chance to run the gamut on it all from smaller titles to the bigger AAA titles that are out or are coming. We even had some great rumors start circulating again for Final Fantasy and some great updates for the next season of The Walking Dead that we will get to see next week. ARK Park A new VR experience is coming with ARK Park as it will expand on aspects of the core title that ARK Park's VR would only be able to deliver to us all We've seen a few VR experiences that give us a feel for Jurassic Park but it looks like we are going to be getting a solid on here with ARK Park in 2017. At least a version that does what the original parks were intending to do without all of the crazy need to not be killed by dinosaur's aspect of it all. I guess Snail Games is going to leave all of that to ARK: Survival Evolved given that ARK Park is based in the same game universe and all about the fun experiences and not the dread of having to outrun all of those horrible beasts. Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. Horizon Zero Dawn A new trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn has released and it focuses on the story of Horizon Zero Dawn's protagonist and the culture and world she has grown up in We've all heard the story of Horizon Zero Dawn a million times before. It's a classic story of world ends, girls grows up in it, and there are huge mechanical animals and dinosaurs roaming the planet that we have to deal with. Wait…not really a tale we've heard a million time here and it looks like Guerrilla Games is adding to it in their own special little way. King's Quest We sit down and review King's Quest: The Good Knight. This is the fifth episode of The Odd Gentlemen's reboot to the famed franchise from Sierra Entertainment. Here's our review of King's Quest: The Good Knight It seems like it took forever to get to, but we are finally here and we have the final episode of King's Quest and the epic conclusion to the story we've slowly been living out over the last year. That is one of the huge issues with episodic titles but The Odd Gentlemen made it to the end and we can all see how they did with the reboot to Sierra Entertainment's huge franchise. The Walking Dead Details on how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will carry over all the saved data from the previous The Walking Dead titles has been detailed out a bit more It feels like it was waiting until the last minute, but as it looks we have a clue as to how The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will be keeping our saved data from the last two seasons to bring it all over when we spin up the new episodes on December 20th. The Surge More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Batman The final episode of Batman: The Telltale Series' first season is here and we get to join Batman as he heads back into Arkham to save Gotham yet again Today is the day as Batman: The Telltale Series' actions and events all come to a head with the final episode of the season releasing. It sure has been one insane ride through the new take on the franchise that Telltale Games has given us and I know that I have been mostly impressed so far. Especially given my views on the character and all of the villains that he takes on in every comic, show, and film. Space Hulk After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. Nintendo The Japanese version of Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios now has an opening window for when fans can experience Nintendo like never before If you are one of those gamers who like to plan ahead then get your planner out right now as it looks like Super Nintendo World will be coming at us sometime before the Summer of 2020. At least to the Universal Parks in Japan as it has been announced that the aim is to get the addition built, staffed, and open before the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Only a short three to four year wait and such but it's still better than just saying "it's coming" over and over. Read More...

The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has been placed out there and it shows more of The Walking Dead's characters are going to crossover This week marked the break of the TV version of The Walking Dead and next week we get to go back into the world with The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's first two episodes of the season.
