Styx: Shards Of Darkness Now Lets You Kill With A Buddy Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of March 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Styx It looks like Styx will be getting another buddy in Styx: Shards Of Darkness and this time it is one of your real-world friends The wait for Styx: Shards Of Darkness is finally over as the game finally comes to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 14th. That's not exactly why we are here though as not only is Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive bringing the game to us but they are also bringing in the ability to play the game with a friend. Not the friend that we've seen already for Styx in terms of his clone but we are getting Co-Op game play in Shards Of Darkness. As if setting up all of our kills solo wasn't going to be fun enough but now we can do it with any of our friends who also enjoy slaying with this little goblin. Read More...

Massive Amount Of New Gameplay For Mass Effect: Andromeda Tests Our Loyalty
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Mass Effect Seventeen more minutes of Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay is out there now and it shows off one of Mass Effect: Andromeda's missions & how they can change Here we go with seventeen more minutes of Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to look at and enjoy. Not only more to look at but more to see in actual motion and not being driven by someone over at BioWare who wants to show off nothing but the best, but a nice little showing of one of the game's missions. Well, at least part of the mission as it would be a little soon to start spoiling Mass Effect: Andromeda with all of that for now. Hopefully we can stay that way until March 21st, but of course we will all have to wait and see if that is possible. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Mass Effect: Andromeda Another gameplay video for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been released with more focus on combat but also how your team in Mass Effect can deliver a great one-two punch The combat training keeps flowing here for Mass Effect: Andromeda as we have the next video in the series that BioWare is giving us to show off the game a bit more. This is the second video in the series here and this time around we get to see how the combat profiles will work in the game as well as how you can team up with your squad. We will all have to take more care with setting all of that up now as it looks like the combination of things in Mass Effect: Andromeda has jumped up from where it was before but all in a way that looks to make the game just that little bit easier for us. Have More On How Horizon Zero Dawn's World Was Built & Fleshed Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn Another developer breakdown for Horizon Zero Dawn is here and shows off more on how Horizon Zero Dawn's world was built and how the facial animations were captured Hopefully you are not getting tired of hearing about Horizon Zero Dawn as not only do we have more to look at for it, but it launches in only a few days on February 28th. I know I feel like we've had so much on the game shown off so far from Guerrilla Games but as it sounds, we have only been shown very little to date. That is great for those who want to stay as spoiler free as possible. Read More...

See How A Goblin Is Made Here For Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. This is why we have a new developer diary of sorts to show off Styx in his new light as well as to get to know his personality a bit more and just to enjoy another great IP that is coming out of Focus Home Interactive. Another New Jason Teased For Friday The 13th: The Game As Pre-Order Bonus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th The pre-order bonus for Friday The 13th: The Game has been shown off in ways of the custom Jason for Friday The 13th crafted by Tom Savini If you've been following along with Friday The 13th: The Game since day one then you may be familiar with the bonus of an extra Jason for the game from the mind of Tom Savini. This is to go above and beyond all of the other versions of the character that Illfonic currently has for the game as well as everything that Gun Media has planned as well. I guess this would fall under planned as the only way to get this version is to pre-order Friday The 13th, but I digress. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Thus wraps yet another great week for video games. New Gameplay For The Surge Shows How We Are Helping Combat Climate Change
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The Surge The next gameplay video for The Surge has been released and shows us fourteen more minutes of The Surge and more of the story We've had some gameplay before for The Surge and now it looks like it is high time for us to get some more. Of course we always want more but Deck 13 needs to be able to keep some of it to themselves until May when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Digressing aside though, here we are again with more gameplay for The Surge and this time it is more combat and a few new areas of the game to look at. The first time around I saw that the combat was a bit on the clunky side and barring any real detail it looked a bit broken. Read More...

It's Time To Gear Up For Combat With Mass Effect: Andromeda's Latest Video
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A new video series for Mass Effect: Andromeda has kicked off and the first one show how combat has changed in Mass Effect and how we can use it now If you've been holding out for some new Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay to look at then your wait is now over. A new video series for the game has kicked off and starts out with BioWare giving us all the low-down on how combat will function and has been altered over the past titles. This isn't going to be the same style of combat we've been used to in other Mass Effect titles but for the most part it looks like it will run and gun just about the same. Just with all of those upgrades to the newer hardware that EA has paid the team to do. Read More...

You Too Can Dazzle Your Audience As Shinbi Joins The Ranks Of Paragon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Paragon The next hero for Paragon has been announced and this time we add a pop star into the battle of Paragon whom can summon spirit wolves Just when I thought that the ideas for Paragon heroes would be running out, Epic Games drops another one on us and mixes things up by giving us something we didn't know we wanted; a pop star. Yes, the next character to join the fight here is a pop star and is using her brand of music and talents to assassinate others on the battle field. Like I said, not what I would have expected for Paragon but it is a deviation from the traditional warrior types that we've been seeing here for the last few updates. Read More...

The Earth Really Is Not Ours Anymore In Horizon Zero Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn A new trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn has been released showing off just how the world became the place it is in Horizon Zero Dawn's main story Another week and another huge batch of Horizon Zero Dawn trailers to look at dissect as we wait for February 28th to finally get here and we can load up the game on our PS4. It seems like such a long wait still but as long as Guerrilla Games keeps bringing out these new trailers for us I think we will be able to manage. At least as long as we can keep to being as spoiler free as we've been able to so far for Horizon Zero Dawn. Read More...
