Darksiders A new video for Darksiders III is here to show us how Fury gets her flame from in the usual Darksiders manner We have seen a bit of Fury's Flame Form in the past for Darksiders III, but now it seems like it is time to spoil how she earns it in the game and it plays out much like you think. That is most likely why Gunfire Games was okay with sharing it as it lets us see how much more of a badass Fury will be in the game and also keep us engaged with THQ Nordic until November 27th when it launches. Guacamelee The release date for Guacamelee 2 has now been set and fans of the Guacamelee titles will be able to play the game this coming August It has been a long time coming, but now we have the release date for Guacamelee 2 set down and surprisingly not too far off from now. If you thought that Drinkbox Studios was going to make us all wait a crazy long time for the game, then you are wrong as it looks like it will be hitting the PS4 and PC on August 21st now. Spider-Man Another bit of story is out there for the upcoming Spider-Man game and we have a look at the last of the pre-order Spider-Man suits from SDCC Just as many of us thought, Spider-Man for the PS4 was one of the big games out at SDCC that Marvel was out there showing off. It was not the only one, but that will be our focus on things right now as Insomniac Games’ version of the franchise will be landing here on September 7th and the other games looked at are out already or further out than that. All of that said, it looks like there will be even more characters than we thought in Spider-Man when it launches in all of the heroes, allies, villains, and anti-hero categories. Pathfinder The release date for Pathfinder: Kingmaker has been set and we will be mixing it all up in the Stolen Lands of Pathfinder in extremely short order One more update is here for Pathfinder: Kingmaker and it is a big one here. We finally have a release date for the digital version of this adventure path that has captured many imaginations and Owlcat Games has poured in so much time and effort into bringing it to life. For me, it was a bit of a concern that Pathfinder: Kingmaker would have been pushed out way out there given that the title had been picked up by Deep Silver. The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season has come out of SDCC to get us all worried for how Clem’s story will wrap in The Walking Dead The first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season kicks off on August 14th for those who aim to play it on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III is here to show us another boss fight that we will have to take on when Wrath comes calling in Darksiders III There is still a bit of time before Darksiders III hits us on November 27th which means there is still a lot of time to have a look at more of the bosses that Gunfire Games has put together for us. We have seen Sloth so far in the past from THQ Nordic, and now we have a look at Wrath in the game and we can mark off one more of the sins we will see in action. I do hope that we do not get them all spoiled for us before Darksiders III finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but it is new gameplay to look at as well as some of the first of the voice work we will get to hear in the game. Fear The Wolves The Early Access for Fear The Wolves has been pushed back a bit as the closed beta for Fear The Wolves found a few things that needed work If you were looking forward to the Early Access for Fear The Wolves to hit our PCs, then you will need to take a seat as it looks like it has been pushed back just a bit. It has been pushed back from July 18th to sometime this Summer as Vostok Games wanted to put some extra work into the game before Focus Home Interactive dropped it out there for order or purchase. It does not sound like there is anything completely wrong with Fear The Wolves, but the closed beta that recently concluded did have some things that were not up to their wants and needs so it was pushed. Call Of Cthulhu The release date for Call Of Cthulhu has been refined down further as it looks like we could be playing Call Of Cthulhu by Halloween this year After kind of "leaking" before, it looks like we may have a solid release date for Call Of Cthulhu now as it has shown up on the Steam page for the game. While not official word from Focus Home Interactive or Cyanide Studios, it does look to be about on par with what we have been told and figured it would be for a while now. Capcom We have a list of everything Capcom will have out at SDCC this year coving all the Capcom IPs from Resident Evil to Mega Man to Street Fighter Heads up for all of you Capcom fans out there as they are bringing many of their games to San Diego Comic-Con this year through both demos, panels, and autograph sessions. It will not be all of their titles, of course, but it looks like the focus will be on the Resident Evil 2 remake, Mega Man 11, and the Mega Man X Collection that are all coming in the next six months at different times. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the books now. As usual, there was a lot to look at and take in, but a rather slow week in general. Granted, we did have the big news for Darksiders III here with a load of new gameplay and one of the coolest collector's editions I have seen for many video games in a while. The Council The release date for The Council’s third episode has been set and we will most likely see some huge changes in The Council due to its events It has been another bit of time since the last episode of The Council dropped on us and now we need to get ready for the third. It looks like Big Bad Wolf is ready to continue the great story it has been setting up as the third episode will now drop on July 24th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully, you have been keeping up with The Council so far as it has been a great ride thus far; it has just been a little rough with the breaks between as it has some very in-depth plot to have to remember in the gaps.
