by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
H1Z1 The original standalone battle royale game, H1Z1, is coming to the PS4 soon and there will be a closed beta for H1Z1 coming this May For those PS4 gamers out there who felt like they have been missing out on the H1Z1 fun and need another Battle Royale title to add into the mix, as it is getting closer to a full launch now on the platform. I say this as Daybreak Games has not announced a solid release date for the game to come, but we have open and closed betas coming at us here real soon so we should expect a final build just around the corner. At least if this version of H1Z1 goes anything like the PC version. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Detroit It is official that Detroit: Become Human has gone gold and gamers will have a chance to demo Detroit: Become Human well before its launch The headline says most of it, but Detroit: Become Human has officially gone gold and is definitely set to release on May 25th for the PS4. Not that many had any worry that Quantic Dream would not be hitting the mark on this one, but now it is completely secured and all on the manufacturing side of things. They all have a month to "print" all of those physical versions of Detroit: Become Human and for those waiting to actually pick up the digital version of the game that can be pre-ordered right now. No worries on that side unless something insane happens in the next month or so. Read More...

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr Has Been Delayed
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 19th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Warhammer Delays have hit Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr to make sure that the title is able to bring all of the Warhammer fun to all platforms at the same time May 11th will no longer be a day that you can expect to see Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr hit the PS4, Xbox One, or PC as the game has now been delayed. Sadly it looks like the team over at Neocore Games ran into an issue with getting all versions of the game up to snuff, with the consoles falling behind, and now we have to wait until June 5th for the game. Just a bit longer than proposed, but we will at least still be getting this Diablo-like title set in the Warhammer 40K universe still. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New screenshots and concept art are here for Spider-Man to give us some actions shots as well as a look at some of the villains in Spider-Man We are still all waiting for some more gameplay and descriptions for Spider-Man, but for now we have a few more screenshots and concept art to look at for the game. Yea, not the most exciting thing to talk about, but Insomniac Games does have a few more of the villains of the game to look at. At least it is easy to assume they are the villains as they are general Spider-Man villains from all other forms of the franchise. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit A new behind-the-scenes video for Detroit: Become Human is here to show a bit more on the technology that was created to bring us Detroit: Become Human If you could not tell by the headline here, this is going to be a behind-the-scenes heavy update for Detroit: Become Human as we are diving further into all of the technology that will be bringing us the game on May 25th and less of what we will actually be getting to experience. It is a tradeoff we have to do every now and then and this time we are looking more at the hard work Quantic Dream has put in here than actual gameplay. You have been informed thusly and can choose to stick around for a bit on Detroit: Become Human, or move right along. Read More...

A Hostile Takeover Is Coming Just Before The Launch Of Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th. It Is Time To Go Behind The Music Of Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit New information on the music for Detroit: Become Human is here and we get to hear how three different composers are setting the mood in Detroit: Become Human When it comes to having three different characters in Detroit: Become Human, the team over at Quantic Dream wanted them each to feel a bit different from each other to help emphasize the story and world. That is the base assumption from the start. Given that they are taking the story and storytelling method for Detroit: Become Human down the same path as that of feature films or television, they would need a way to help focus on differences between them all subtlety. Spider-Man’s Combat Works A Bit Different Than Many Of Us Have Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight. Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption’s Release Has Been Pushed Back A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sinner The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption has been pushed back but at least gamers on the Switch will have the chance to give Sinner a play If you were gearing up to play Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption on April 25th here…then you may want to put the brakes on that. It looks like the game is no longer hitting that date and will now be looking at a Q3 2018 release date to get in on this new Boss Battler title with a twist Dark Star Games and Another Indie are working on. That seems like quite the delay for a game that was supposed to land just a few weeks from now. The bigger reason given for the delay is that it will now be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch all at the same time. Read More...

Review — Extinction
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Extinction We sit down and review Extinction. There are colossal size ogres killing the world and we need to stop them. Here is our review of Extinction With a name like Extinction there is a lot to build up to and deliver on. It definitely floats an idea out there and sets some ideas for any games who may be looking at it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC now that it has released. This would also happen to be the next title that Iron Galaxy is putting out there where we are the last bit of hope between humanity getting to live or getting eaten by colossal creatures. You are hopefully getting an idea of what Extinction is all about, but for those who want more, we sat down and gave it a solid play. Read More...
