Miles Morales The launch of Spider-Man: Miles Morales is this week and we have a chance to see more of how Miles Morales will be stepping up This is going to be a huge week in the world of video games for many reasons and one of them being the launch of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. One could also argue the PS5 launching this week too, but for this game, it will be on the PS4 too. All of which on November 12th for those that have forgotten that little bit. Spider-Man: Miles Morales Will Be taking Us Back Into The Spider-Verse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of November 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Miles Morales The next costume for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is highlighted here with Miles Morales donning the Spider-Verse suit again It was inevitable given the success of the film, but it looks like we will be seeing the Into The Spider-Verse suit in the mix for Spider-Man: Miles Morales. I think it would have been the biggest misstep for Insomniac Games and Sony to not add this one in there and it looks like they agree. hence why we are back here talking about other costumes that Miles Morales will be wear on November 12th when the game hits the PS4 and PS5. That is just over a week out and it is crazy to think how that time snuck up on us all here. Read More...

Hitman 3 Is Flowing Onto The Switch Too Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman It has been announced that Hitman 3 will now be coming to the Switch so that even more fans can experience the Hitman franchise Add another platform to the growing list for Hitman 3 as it will now be heading to the Switch. An interesting addition as it never felt like the system would be able to handle what the game could pump out before now. I am sure that is why IO Interactive is not just bringing it over to the system but giving us the option to play via cloud streaming on the Switch. So, technically Hitman 3 is not coming to the Switch but it will be playable on the system for those that are looking to get the murder on via the console. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to put another week to bed and then dive into more of those video games out there. We had a whole lot this week to look at from Watch Dogs: Legion to Call Of Duty that it will be nice to have a break here. Not that we are going to get much of a break out there with all of the upcoming and already released video games we have to play too. That and the DLC for Doom Eternal and the upcoming stuff for Mortal Kombat 11, we are going to be busy all around. Read More...

Peter Offers Up Some Words Of Encouragement For Spider-Man: Miles Morales
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new teaser for Spider-Man: Miles Morales gives us a look at how Spider-Man will talk to each other to lift up Well, we do not have anything huge for Spider-Man: Miles Morales to look at here today, but there is more to offer up and hopefully experience for it all. Not much in the way of gameplay or any real details, but a nice little look at how things are going between Peter and Miles in the game's universe. Even if it is more hype and less of seeing Spider-Man do what a spider can. Maybe even more on the side of just reminding us all that the game is still coming on November 12th for the PS5 and PS4. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is finally time to break for the week and get into enjoying these video games that we have out there now. Even though this week felt like it flew by here, there was so much going on in the way of Cyberpunk 2077, Mortal Kombat 11, and Sackboy to let slip by. I guess that is why we covered it all here for you and dug into some of the other various updates we had out there. Even if we are knee-deep in the season of reviews and releases just before the holidays. Read More...

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Takes On His First Boss Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Miles Morales The first boss fight for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is shown off with Miles Morales taking on a villain we barely saw before now It should be easy to assume we would see some of the past villains making their way back into Spider-Man: Miles Morales when it hits the PS4 and PS5 next month. Both titles from Insomniac Games are linked and carry the same story so it would be weird if none of that actually happened. That is why it is not too shocking to see the first villain we will be facing in Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be one that was taken care of rather quickly in the previous title. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/21/20 — 9/25/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of September 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This really did feel like a lighter week for video games but still a fun one indeed. That could be due to the fact that the TGS is going on right now and everyone was holding their big announcements and showings until then. I mean, Resident Evil Village had something but not to the level some expected. Then there were some of the smaller titles like Ghostrunner and Twin Mirror that head their time to shine this week. Spider-Man: Miles Morales Is Swinging In With Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is here along with some other interesting tidbits for this Spider-Man outing As was to be expected during the big PS5 reveal, we have a whole lot of new gameplay for Spider-Man: Miles Morales before it lands on November 12th with the new console. That is not to say that it was not spectacular to look at, but just as we expected over here from Insomniac Games which did not disappoint. Before we dig into that, though, it looks like there is a bit more to all of this too as Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on the PS4 as well and there will be an Ultimate Launch edition of the game that will house the last title in the line all upgraded for the new console and with all the DLC mixed in. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman A new developer diary for Hitman 3 is here to highlight more for the Hitman VR we are going to get with the launch There was a huge bit of news when it was announced that Hitman 3 was going to bring the whole thing into a VR space. We had a little bit of gameplay there and IO Interactive said we would see a bit more in the future. Now is the future and here we are with a new developer diary for Hitman 3 that focuses on the VR aspect of it all. Something that is a huge drive for me to head back into the World of Assassination besides just the basic gameplay in the franchise. Read More...

Hitman 3 Is Going To Bring The Whole Thing Into VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman Hitman 3 is going into VR with it bring all of the new and old locations from this version of the Hitman franchise into the mix If you were not able to catch the big PlayStation State Of Play event yesterday, then you may have missed out on an interesting announcement for Hitman 3. We did not get much in the way of new locations or changes up for the IP from IO Interactive but the announcement that we will have the option to play it all in PSVR. Yeah, we will be able to pull off all of those over-the-top kills in Hitman 3 from the true perspective of Agent 47 and feel the garroting wire wrapping around our victim's throats. Well, at least as much as we can in VR given the limitations the hardware still faces here. Read More...

Review — Destroy All Humans!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of July 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Destroy All Humans We sit down and review Destroy All Humans!. The invasion is happening again with a new remaster. Here is our review of Destroy All Humans! Just about fifteen years ago we were all introduced to a little title called Destroy All Humans! For the time it was an okay game and it caught the eyes of many. Some of those that it caught the eyes of had to be some of the decision-makers over at Black Forest Games and THQ Nordic, as we are back with it again here in 2020. Not in the way of another sequel or spin-off, but a full remake of the original Destroy All Humans! Read More...
