Here we go with yet another villain shown for Batman: Arkham City - Mr. Freeze. If you look below, you'll see the nice, shiny new trailer for this latest reveal. At first glance, it really just seems like another step to stop Bats from getting things under control. That is, until he begins to meander around like a smaller, frozen Big Daddy. I do love the new direction that RockSteady has taken The Riddler, my second favorite villain, but I can't seem to look past the close similarities in the characters. They are both geniuses. They both like putting people in death traps. They both have a specific tone and method to their speaking. I guess the only real difference is that the new Riddler does it to prove to the world that he really is the smartest person alive. While Luigi is often the forgotten, second fiddle, there have always been the defenders of the faith who hold true to the green overalls. So it looks like the rumor about NOT being able to play as Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City is now busted. Submitted for your consumption, I give you a look at a bit of the game play as Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City. Straight from the horse's mouth, A.K.A. Rocksteady, to our eyes. Yes, I know that doesn't make visual sense, but just go with it. It doesn't show any form of Co-Op which leads me to believe that she is either going to have a small portion of the game set up like The Joker did in Arkham Asylum. Recently I had a conversation with a few people on movie tie-in games and if they could ever be any good. As was to be expected, the conclusion was generally not likely. There have been so many crappy movie tie-in games put out there, most of which to suck more money out of the consumer. But every now and then there are a few that are not just utter crap. For me, they are usually the games that are not rushed to meet a film's release date and TRULY expand on the overall story of the film. Well isn't this a little bit of interesting. Looks like the team that brought us Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is no longer ok with keeping their game just hopping dimensions, now they want to go through time too with Spider-Man: Edge Of Time. Edge Of Time being the latest title just announced from Beenox, Marvel and Activision. At this time the story for the game is pretty much this: Spider-Man: Edge Of Time challenges the player to take on the roles of both classic Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2099 to correct a time-stream gone awry and prevent a catastrophic future brought on by the early and untimely death of Peter Parker. Bethesda Softworks announced this week Prey 2, and the teaser will make you think twice about putting your cell phone on airplane mode. Prey, which was released back in July of 2006, was originally developed by Human Head Studios. Prey followed the sci-fi adventures of Cherokee Domasi "Tommy" Tawodi. The general story was that he, along with Girlfriend and Grandfather, were beamed up to an alien ship known only as The Sphere. In Batman: Arkham Asylum the Riddler had kind of a small role, even though it was one of the larger side missions in the game. It makes sense when you think about the fact that he didn't physically show up at all in the game. This looks like something that Rocksteady is going to be changing when it comes to Arkham City.
