Review — Hatred
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hatred. Is It Worth Your Time or was it all PR hype to grab your attention with the hyper-violence? Here's Our Review of Hatred If there has been one title recently that has made a huge splash in a short amount of time it was Hatred. This is the twin-stick shooter title from Destructive Creations that was denied on Steam and then allowed back after much outcry. Mainly all of the negative press being aimed toward the ultra-violence that is portrayed in this AO title only on PC that has garnered its claim to fame but we had a chance to give it a good solid play through and we have our own thoughts on Hatred. Without gilding the lily any longer or pissing off the game's protagonist much more, here is our review for Hatred. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Assassin's Creed Syndicate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Assassin's Creed Syndicate In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Another year and another Assassin's Creed and this year it is Assassin's Creed Syndicate for only the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It looks like Ubisoft is moving right along with jumping into the next/current gen hardware and they are bringing with it some new features for the franchise. Quite a few new features given the fact that Assassin's Creed Syndicate takes place in an era were the traditional warfare and weapons used to fight the Templar would get one arrested before walking out the door of their home. At least more so then given all of the advancement that the human race has made. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Disney Infinity 3.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Disney Infinity 3.0 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the big splashes in the gaming industry has always been Star Wars and Disney Infinity 3.0 was on the scene to do just that as the other titles in the franchise. The big difference here is that it is able to strong-arm all levels of Star Wars fandom as it also mixes in all of the other IPs Disney Interactive can get their hands on from the parent company. When all is said and done though Ninja Theory is focusing on trying to make Disney Infinity 3.0 another great installment while playing on the nostalgia of the fans. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Call Of Duty: Black Ops III In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was one title that always has lines around the booth it is Call Of Duty and that was no different for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III as Treyarch was on the scene to give all of us gamers out there a great taste of things to come this November 6th on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Well at least some of the things to come in terms of the multiplayer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III as the campaign mode was better guarded this E3 than any other in the past. None the less we got to take the game for a spin in a nice dark room filled with allies and enemies to give the new stuff just for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III. Read More...

E3 2015 Impressions — Skylanders SuperChargers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Skylanders SuperChargers In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the guilty pleasures that I have had over the years have been seeing the next Skylanders title in action at E3 and this year was no slouch as Skylanders SuperChargers was on the scene and showing off all of the new hardware and story coming to the franchise. This would be the latest from Vicarious Visions that is bringing vehicles to the mix of Skylands and to bring down the Evil Lord Kaos and all of his Doom-machines. If you knew the franchise that explanation of Skylanders SuperChargers would make perfect sense but none the less we have new, or newish, characters and their vehicles that also brings new gameplay and we were on the scene to see what we can expect to be new to the franchise with Skylanders SuperChargers when it launches on September 20th on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, and 3DS. E3 2015 Hands On — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Guitar Hero Live In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Given the fact that Guitar Hero Live was announced and slightly shown off recently from FreeStyleGames and Activision it wouldn't be E3 without getting to see it in action. Especially since the controller scheme has been changed up as well as a bit of the gameplay. Of course it was on the show floor and ready for play at E3 or you wouldn't be reading this before the October 20th release date on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. Those and the mobile platforms as well but for what we were able to see Guitar Hero Live was running on the PS4 and we had some real good hands on. Read More...

Watch Ubisoft's 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Ubisoft Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below That is three large E3 press conferences down and two more to go. Next up on the docket is Ubisoft and their usual titles and franchises that we get every year at E3's past. Ubisoft hasn't been too quiet on what we are going to be getting from them with a few additional things mixed in. It is a safe bet that we are going to be getting some Assassin's Creed Syndicate footage and gameplay information. Most likely more for Just Dance and the already spoken on Tom Clancy titles. Watch Microsoft's 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2015 - 04:15 PM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Microsoft Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below We are one press conference in the bag and it is time to hop into the second major one for E3 in the way of Microsoft and all the wares that they will have for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows platforms. Just like with Bethesda and their E3 press conference there are some completely expected titles to come out here during the Microsoft conference; Games like Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3, Gears Of War and Rise Of The Tomb Raider are completely on the docket here. I'd also place even money on their being some form of VR with the Oculus Rift on the Xbox One given the previous announcements but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was left out here too. Watch Bethesda Softworks' 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2015 - 02:00 AM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Bethesda Softworks Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below It is that time. Time to kick off E3 with the first official press conference of the event for Bethesda Softworks and their game studios. They have already let the cat out of the bag on a few items to see like Fallout 4, DOOM, and the recently slipped Dishonored 2. That last one doesn't feel like it was something we weren't going to be seeing anytime soon from Bethesda but it apparently slipped out during rehearsals from this press conference. I am sure that we will also see something for BattleCry as well even though Bethesda hasn't said anything directly about it but as it was a big feature last year it only makes sense. Read More...

Two More Heavy Armored Characters For Overwatch Shown Off For You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Two of Overwatch's armored badasses are shown off this week with a lot more Overwatch gameplay in the mix as well Being that it is the calm before the storm of E3 I guess it is nice that we have two more characters to look at for Overwatch here. Not only that but I think Blizzard planned well as it is both of the tank looking characters for the game as most of us are going to need to be as beefy as Pharah and Reinhardt look in Overwatch while traversing the show floor for E3. All joking aside there though let us get back to the fact that we have loads more gameplay here to look at and pick through for Overwatch. While it is all "alpha" gameplay I have a feeling that we are going to be getting that beta for the game here in short order after all of the characters are shown off in their glory. Read More...

That would be Reaper here. Not only do we have a look at that character but we also have Torbjörn as well from Overwatch. Blizzard is hooking us up this week. Read More...

XCOM 2 Was Teased But Now Is Fully Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Earlier it was announced that XCOM 2 is coming from Firaxis Games and 2K Games after a lengthy feeling teaser campaign What many thought was a possible BioShock teaser from 2K Games has finally turned out to be none other than XCOM 2. Yes, we are finally getting a full on sequel to the franchise that is going to build off XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It looks like Firaxis Games is looking to ignore The Bureau and just move on with the whole story. Most likely a good move here but we are not going to focus on what XCOM 2 is not going to be. Skylanders SuperChargers Will Let Us Drive Evil Crazy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new Skylanders title is coming with full speed in the way of Skylanders SuperChargers which also adds vehicles to the mix of the game By this point I know I have been questioning where the Skylanders franchise might and can go. It started the toys-to-life genre of video games and others have tried to follow suit. It looks like Vicarious Visions and Activision are again pushing things forward a little bit with Skylanders SuperChargers. This would be the most recent title just announced which now adds vehicles to the video game world as well as to all of the 300+ Skylanders toys already available. Read More...

Symmetra's Name Sounds Off But She Looks Great In Overwatch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Another gameplay video for Overwatch has been released and this time we get to see Symmetra in action for Overwatch It wouldn't be another week in gaming news without yet another Overwatch gameplay video it would seem. This of course means that Blizzard has released yet another look at a character for the game and this time it is in the terms of Symmetra. That seriously sounds like a name that would be used for GWAR but as they have yet to claim affiliation with Overwatch we'll just go with a happy coincidence here. Weird name or not we have yet more gameplay for the game and the new character to have a look at. Read More...

Discover The Legends Within Rise Of The Tomb Raider With A Tease
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new teaser trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been released to get us all pumped up for what Microsoft will be showing for the game at E3 All last week we were teased with something new for Rise Of The Tomb Raider and here we have it. It's…another tease for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. All along the same veins as the DOOM tease we had from Bethesda a few weeks ago, it looks like Crystal Dynamics has given us pretty much the same thing. Only in this case the tease doesn't look to show any gameplay for Rise Of The Tomb Raider and is all hype to make sure we are all going to be watching the Microsoft press conference at E3. As if we wouldn't be already to see what else will be coming to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Read More...
