Review — The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter. Is It Worth Your Time? Did it upgrade to the new engine and platform well? Here's Our Review of The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter Originally The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter came out on the PC last year using the Unreal 3 Engine to extremely decent reviews. It is an interesting indie story game from The Astronauts that is more of an exploration experience and puzzle solving thing than anything you may think given the trailers but a game none the less. The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter was well received none the less and this drove the team to upgrade the game to Unreal 4 engine as well as bring it to the PS4. Read More...

A Lot Was Missed In That Assassin's Creed Syndicate Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video for that Assassin's Creed Syndicate alpha demo has been released showing all of the things we may have missed in Assassin's Creed Syndicate already Yesterday we had a nice, long look at that Assassin's Creed Syndicate demo from E3. We had multiple angles and points of attack shown with all of the freedom that Ubisoft normally gives us in an Assassin's Creed title. Unbeknownst to us and apparently the play of the stream there was a whole lot more going on in the demo that some of us may have missed. Somethings environmental, some gameplay, and some just new uses for things we already know. Read More...

Here's A Bit More Assassin's Creed Syndicate In Action
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
During a live stream of Assassin's Creed Syndicate we were able to see the E3 demo of Assassin's Creed Syndicate played in a few different and exciting ways We've all seen one version of the E3 gameplay demo for Assassin's Creed Syndicate but how about the one that most of us were writing about? You know the one that the general and "non-preferred media" public of the expo were able to get their hands on. Usually that would be lost to the wind as Ubisoft pushes on with all of the newer stuff for Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Thankfully for those who wanted to see and experience the floor demo it looks like it was shown off here recently during a live stream event and captured for us all. Read More...

Guitar Hero Live Gets Ten More Tracks & A Pre-Order Incentive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of July 2015 - 07:03 PM ]
Ten more tracks are added to the ever growing list of Guitar Hero Live songs and now there is also a pre-order incentive for those who want to secure Guitar Hero Live before launch Because we all know that we need a solid Guitar Hero Live set-list to work with it looks like we have ten more tracks to add to the list of songs we can rock out to on October 20th. FreeStyleGames has their work cut out for them to do this but as long as they keep the tunes flowing for Guitar Hero Live I doubt anyone will take up issue unless the controllers begin failing out of the box. I don't think that would be their issue and more Activision's but still… None the less we have ten more tracks listed out for us all when Guitar Hero Live launches and we have that wonderful list just a bit further down for you to look at and listen to the tracks in question. Prototype Biohazard Bundle Brings Both Titles Back For The Next Gen Systems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The Prototype Biohazard Bundle has been quietly released and is bringing Prototype and Prototype 2 to the next gen systems as of today Talk about the most silent release ever as the Prototype Biohazard Bundle is available as you are reading this and I have not even heard of its existence to date. This would be a HD remsatered bundle of Radical Entertainment's amazing titles [Prototype] and [Prototype 2]. Yea it is another HD remaster for the PS4 and Xbox One but you would think that Activision would have at least mentioned something in passing before today to get more people buzzing about the Prototype Biohazard Bundle and make sure people ar buying this digital version of the games. There has to be some good reason right? Read More...

Have A Look At The New Zombies For Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
At SDCC 2015 the new Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies mode was shown off to the world as well as one 'giant' map for Black Ops III's new zombie mode It is no surprise that Zombies was coming back to Call Of Duty: Black Ops III at all. Treyarch and Activision have been pretty forth coming with that news. What they haven't been so forthcoming with would be the visuals and the details for what we can expect to experience in Black Ops III's zombie mode. As you should expect though, as this would be pointless if it wasn't the case, that was until this year's SDCC where they had a whole lot to show off for the mode on the PS4 version of Call Of Duty: Black Ops III and we have some to show you now. Skylanders SuperChargers Is Going Dark For Another Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of July 2015 - 04:59 PM ]
A new Dark Edition has been announced for Skylanders Superchargers and it allows for more Kaos gameplay in the franchise In the last edition of Skylanders we had a cool Dark Edition as we had villains in tow and it looks like Skylanders SuperChargers is also going to be doing the same thing. As if adding in vehicles wasn't enough for Vicarious Visions it looks like they wanted to make sure we all had the option to play the "evil" versions when we finally get the game on September 20th. Before you get worried about it Skylanders Superchargers' Dark Edition will be available in starter pack form for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U versions of the game. No need to worry outside of being able to find the edition for sale anywhere. Read More...

Guitar Hero Live Is Bringing Some Hero Power Into The Mix
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Star Power is a thing of the past as Guitar Hero Live brings new Hero Powers to the franchise and we have the details on how they will change Guitar Hero Live We would have been a bit daft to think that Guitar Hero Live wouldn't be bringing back Star Power in some way or another. For those not fully up to snuff on the Guitar Hero lingo that would be the extra boost you get when you tilt the guitar during gameplay. Of course it is making a comeback but it looks like FreeStyleGames is bringing something new into the mix for it in Guitar Hero Live. So not only is Activision pushing a new controller on us but it looks like more new gameplay as well. Read More...

The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter Is Appearing On PS4 Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Looks like the wait is over as the PS4 version of The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter is slated for a July 15th release date now Hopefully by now all of you reading this know about The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter as it released on PC last year and was well received by many. This would be that amazing looking supernatural adventure title created by The Astronauts that even we spoke highly of back in the day. This was also back when we heard it was being redone in the Unreal 4 engine and also getting a PS4 release scheduled but there was never any word on when after all the great reviews began pouring in for the first release of The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter. All of that changes now. Read More...

Three More Heroes For Overwatch Emerge To Dazzle Our Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We have more gameplay for Overwatch to show off three more characters as well as a bit of a wrap up on the core gameplay for Overwatch Here we go with even more gameplay and characters for Overwatch here to gawk at. Not only is it more gameplay for the game but it is also a good look at the 'non-female-stereotype' female-stereotype character that everyone praised Blizzard for when she was first announced. I am talking about Zarya the heavy Russian combatant that pretty much looks and plays like every other heavy Russian stereotypical female character in video games. But hey, Overwatch is made by a studio with such a following that no one will care about that and just spin it up on the PC to enjoy for decades as it is another new IP of theirs in the end. Time For A Bit More Story On Tom Clancy's The Division
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of July 2015 - 04:59 PM ]
We've seen a lot of gameplay for Tom Clancy's The Division but only a bit of story but thankfully here is a bit more on that for The Division There are a lot of people out there excited for The Division to finally launch on March 8th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I know I am excited to see if the visual quality is upheld by Ubisoft or just upgraded for E3 demos and such. I also know that a lot of people flipped over The Division after seeing the new gameplay at E3. Maybe not on my social accounts but it was all the buzz around the booths on the show floor. Fans Won't Let P.T. Die As We Have Allison Road As A Successor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It looks like we have another contender for scariest horror title as Allison Road is in the works to take up the mantle that P.T. was forced to drop I'll be the first to admit that the loss of P.T. and Silent Hills was a kick to the nuts with spiked, steel-toed boot. Thankfully we have a lot of other passionate people out there working on solutions to that pain and we have another one in the way of Allison Road. It is another attempt to drive fear into our hearts while wandering around what we should all assume to be a safe place; our own home. Well the personal home of the unnamed protagonist we are controlling in Allison Road at least which of course has not only that in common with the aforementioned P. Read More...

The Assassin's Creed Experience Is Returning For SDCC 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Just in case you couldn't prove your Assassin's Creed merit at last year's SDCC Assassin's Creed Experience, the event is returning and coming with a new Victorian London vibe If there is one great way to promote an Assassin's Creed title it was definitely the Assassin's Creed Experience at SDCC last year. Sadly though if you were not able to attend San Diego Comic Con or you didn't want to stand in the long line for a short experience that was the only way to experience it. If you want another chance though it looks like the Assassin's Creed Experience is returning again and this time it has the Assassin's Creed Syndicate makeover added into the mix with this time ending in a Leap Of Faith out of the Tower Of London. Rumor Mill: A Rise Of The Tomb Raider PS4 Release Window Announced?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new rumor has been cropped up around Rise Of The Tomb Raider from the guys over at The Know placing Rise Of The Tomb Raider's PS4 launch in late 2016 Nothing gets the morning juices flowing like a good old fashioned rumor and this one here is for Rise Of The Tomb Raider. This time it is all over the release date for the game. No, not the already announced release date of November 10th that Crystal Dynamics is aiming to hit for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the game but about when we might be seeing Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the PS4. I'm also guessing that this would also cover the PS3 version of the game as I am sure that Square Enix wouldn't want to miss out on the funds and whole other platform to market too. Read More...
