Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Put one more week of talking about all of these video games in the bag as we head off to the weekend. A wonderful time for us to catch up on all of those titles we may have missed all to get ready for when Red Dead Redemption 2 and Hitman 2 drop on us soon. It will also let us dive into other video games like Mega Man 11 and Life Is Strange 2 as we may have missed out in the mix of it all. I know that is along the lines of what I will be doing as well as other things. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange We sit down and review Life Is Strange 2 — Roads. This is the first episode of the latest Life Is Strange. Here is our review on how they did The wait is over and we can finally jump back into the weird world that DontNod has crafted with Life Is Strange 2. It is not a continuation of the original story, but a completely different one just set in the same universe and timeline you made from the first title. It may sound a bit confusing if you have not been following along with everything for Life Is Strange 2, but that is why we are here. We are also here to play the game and let you know if it is worth your time and money. Read More...

Assassin’s Creed The final trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has dropped and holds the right level of hype we should have for this new Assassin’s Creed title In under a week, for some of us, we will be diving into Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Some of us on October 2nd and others on October 5th depending on how you threw your money at Ubisoft to secure your copy of the game. The countdown has started and it is not too long of a wait to get there. Thankfully, we have something extra to hold us over until we are able to unwrap our copy of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. See How Far We Will Have To Run In Life Is Strange 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange The last trailer for Life Is Strange 2 before launch is here to show us how hard choices may be in this new outing for the Life Is Strange story As if we have not seen how emotionally rough Life Is Strange 2 is going to be, we have yet another trailer to look at before the first episode hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 27th. Yes, that date is insanely close and you only have so much time to throw your money at DontNod before the launch. There are still some great pre-order bonuses to have there not to mention securing the full trek through this story for Life Is Strange 2. Read More...

The World Is About To Go Black With Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is here to try to show how it is going to be the best Call Of Duty to launch to date The time we are going to have to wait for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is quickly coming to an end with only a few more weeks to go now. There has been a lot of excitement for the game and quite a few reservations held with Treyarch going with a multiplayer heavy option for the game. It seems like an odd choice to go there, I am a single-player fan after all, but we will see if it all pans out and makes huge profits for the studio and Activision. I have minor doubts about that as it is a Call Of Duty title and even when gamers complain about it, they still will gobble the game up on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC until they can complain about the next one. Walk Through Some Of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’s Environments & Mini-Bosses
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sekiro New gameplay for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is here to show off what some may have missed in the recent demo for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice It looks like there was even more to look at for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice out of this year's TGS as we have almost twenty more minutes of gameplay to look at and get a better feel for what FromSoftware is aiming to bring us. We will still need to wait until March 22nd to get the true feel for it all, but for now we can look at some of the demo that Activision had out there and let gamers play. Some of which housed some never before seen locations for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice as well as a hidden boss fight for those who were able to make it down to it alive and try to stay that way. The Cleansing Must Be Complete Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies’ IX
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty New footage for one of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies’ experiences has crawled up featuring more from a Call Of Duty franchise musical veteran When I first saw that the new Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies mode was going to be messing around with time, I was a little concerned. I understood what Treyarch was aiming for, but I was not completely certain that it could work out as well given that it was many different eras and not just one new one as we have seen in the past. Now we jump forward to today as Activision has pumped out a new trailer for the Call Of Duty mode, and I think I am a bit more sold on it. Read More...

Get Ready For The First Spartan Smart Assistant Out Of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed Another bit of hype is here for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as we will have a new Alexa skill added to the list to go right along with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Add another video game out there that will have some form of Alexa integration as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is adding this to the skill tree of the device. Nothing that will be fully linked or needed to play the game, but something that will allow for Ubisoft to market the game a bit more and offer up other options to get some of that in-game information. Also, it will add a bit more humor to the overall Assassin’s Creed universe as who would not want Alexios the Spartan yelling the responses back at you? Read More...

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Is Taking On Post Launch & Season Pass Content In A New Way
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed New details for the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass and Post Launch content have emerged with signs as to how this Assassin’s Creed title will have a long lifecycle Assassin’s Creed Odyssey still has a few weeks to go before we all dive in and see how this one is furthering the franchise. It has been one of the settings I had been hoping for when Ubisoft started jumping around in time to further expand the world and story of the millennia. Now it looks like we have a solid look at how it will keep going on well after the initial launch as well as to why we are not getting another Assassin’s Creed next year. Read More...

There Are No Wrong Paths In The World Of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here to show us the power of choice we will have in this Assassin’s Creed saga There is no question that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is going to give us the options and the power of choice when it comes on October 5th. This has been the most recent changeup to the franchise that Ubisoft has been making sure we are aware of for some time now. Just in case we were not aware of that, we have yet another trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to points us in that direction to highlight that we will be the ones making these choices with little being forced on us by the narrative. At least in terms of something we will need to do so we can push the story further. Read More...

Death Won’t Come Easily In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of September 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Sekiro A new trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is here to take us through a few new looks for Sekiro as well as some of the verticality we can expect While we may have to wait a bit for this year's TGS to fully kick off, we do not need to wait to see something new for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that will be shown off out there. That is right; we have a new trailer to look at for this title from FromSoftware that caught a lot of attention out at E3 this year. I am guessing you figured that out as you clicked in here anyways and are most likely looking for more on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice instead of just random tidbits like that. Read More...
