Earlier in my hands on with I Am Alive I spoke about who will be able to use intimidation and other tactics as a form of "combat" in the game. Also how not everyone needs to be killed but instead bypassed in other ways. First off, please pardon the pun. It was unexpected. But in all reality, it looks like the World Of Darkness MMO is not as dead in the water as CCP might have led everyone to believe. Myself included since I play the pen and paper version with some of the people who use to be part of the original team. If you are like me you might be curious on the motivations of antagonists in films and games. I mean not ever villain is like the Joker who just does messed up stuff for the sake of doing it. There is usually a motivation behind their actions. Well it looks like next month we all will get the chance to see what Ryder White had planned besides just trying to save his wife and self. According to the announcement the DLC, aptly titled Ryder White, will add several hours of game play where you will actually play as White. With the beginning of the end of the world behind us a bit, we at Aggrogamer would like to share with you guys what we are most looking forward to in the next year. So without further adieu here are the games we're most excited about in 2012. Darksiders II Developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ, Darksiders II takes place during the same time period as the original Darksiders; players will be taking control of Death who is War's fellow horseman and brother. Featuring a new location that is said to be twice as big as the original game, a single quest hub will be connecting to a numerous amount of dungeons, one certain city area will feature more dungeons than the original Darksiders. I Am Alive has survived a near cancelation and multiple delays since it was first announced Darkworks was developing it almost four years ago. Talk about an oops moment. Looks like Disney let slip, and then quickly removed, an announcement for Epic Mickey 2 in a recent newsletter sent out. While this isn't the first "rumor" that there was a sequel in the works, this is definitely more proof that the title is in the works for all of you out there who enjoyed Epic Mickey. A couple new trailers for Eat Sleep Play's Twisted Metal have been released, one featuring my favorite character, Mr. Grimm and the other featuring Dollface. The trailers showcase a little bit of each characters back story, a hefty dose of heavy metal and some sweet, sweet game play. I grew up playing the original Twisted Metal games, so seeing one of my favorite childhood franchises come back guns blazing in a hail of fire and bullets makes me crack a smile across my face, ear to ear. The first trailer is Mr. Grimm, who is a different person from the last installment (Twisted Metal: Black) but is just as cool, showing us some of his signature weapons like the "Flame Saw" which is an exploding chainsaw that has been grinding on the concrete for a few hundred feet. Well, it's that time of year again. Leaves are falling. It's getting colder. And like clockwork, a new Call Of Duty has hit the streets. Not that I should really have to say it, but that would be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for those who didn't see the title or clicked in at random. With all the games that we have/will be bombarded with in the short time frame, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3, Need For Speed: The Run, Saints Row: The Third and Halo Combat Evolved to name a few, let's not forget Assassin's Creed: Revelations is also in the mix - coming up here on the 15th to be exact. First up we got a magnificent trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Wii, showing off some beautiful landscapes and scenery featured in game, as well as some game play and story elements all to a gorgeous orchestral number. Now I sadly will not be getting Skyward Sword, as much as I would like to simply because I don't have a Wii and I really don't plan on ever getting one. As if we all didn't expect this, Ubisoft is doing yet another Tom Clancy title. This one has the moniker Rainbow 6 Patriots. From the bit that has been gleaned from the announcement and game's site it looks like a well trained and organized revolutionary group has come to the conclusion that (*Gasp*) the American government is corrupt. They want to bring everything back to zero and "reclaim" the country for their own ideals. Your job will be to of course stop them if all goes the same as usual for this kind of storyline. Just in the nick of time, Spider-Man is back in another game for us to take on the many comic book villains who plague New York in Spider-Man: Edge Of Time. While not a direct sequel to last year's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, it does have at least two of the dimensions represented and makes reference to the "Other Guys" from the game.
