Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes Has Been Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes has been announced and shown off in a huge Disney Infinity 2.0 event. Back at the beginning of the month we got a nice tease showing off what is now known as Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes. At first it looked like it was going to be Disney Infinity with a few Marvel heroes added in. With the hour long session that took place today (4/30/14) it looks like it is a whole lot more. In fact quite the opposite as it sounds like a Marvel version of the game with a few Disney character being added in along the line. Read More...

A Whole Lot More Hacking And Sawing For The Chainsaw Incident
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
There is a new gameplay trailer for The Chainsaw Incident and it shows off everything from the menus to more combat. I have brought up The Chainsaw Incident multiple times before. More and more I am falling in love with the visuals of the game but with this latest pre-alpha game play trailer I think the people over at Crazy Piranha are starting to really get the game mechanics up to snuff. Before the combat looked very sluggish and very 'canned'. Now it looks quite a bit updated but I'll let the following trailer speak for itself and let you judge. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
BioWare's upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition is slated for October 7th and has a new gameplay trailer. The time has come and now we have a release date for Dragon Age: Inquisition to look forward to. That date is now October 7th on the main current gen and next gen consoles as well as PC for any of those who play games on their major tech devices. I don't know who would ever play Dragon Age: Inquisition on their PC instead of using it for curing cancer am I right? No one would ever do that… Not only do we get the release date for Dragon Age: Inquisition here but a good chunk of gameplay to pine over with a mix of story included too. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 4/14/14 — 4/18/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of April 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. In the wake of PAX East it is no surprise that there was a lack of any new news in the gaming world. We have been able to scrape a bit on Batman: Arkham Knight and Alien Isolation but it has really been the smaller independent titles and hands on that have kept thing flowing here. We also had a few new game announcements, rumors, studio layoffs, and a review mixed in but I think the newer Economic PC Gaming tutorial build have had to have been one of the shining lights here. Just in case you don't know what that is, we now have a running tutorial on how to build your own gaming PC on a budget. Read More...

New Screen Shots For The Evil Within Shows Us Water Monsters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of April 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A few new screen shots for The Evil Within have popped up on the internet. This time showing off a new monster type. We may not have more news for The Evil Within but we do have a few new screen shots for the game. I wish I had more given all of the bad "previews" that have been abound the internet from the other sites that require payment to give good news; but I don't. Instead just these four new shots that kind of show off a bit of the atmosphere and enemies in the game. At least both are perceived to be enemies and there is nothing more than the huge fanged monster roaring Sebastian and the other is Boxman. Read More...

by Andrew "Irradiccus" Franks [ Wednesday, 16th of April 2014 - 09:03 PM ]

This underwater fighter gives you Co-Op, Deathmatch, CTF, and more for up to 4 players; with optional team settings for the competitive modes. With a fast-pace movement, teleportation, and unique unleashes SWIMSANITY has plenty to offer for friends both sitting on a couch or crosses state lines over the internet. SWIMSANITY puts you in the aquatic soldier body of a Mooba, a combative creature equipped with a magnitude of weapons. Read More...

No World Of Darkness MMO As Well As More Layoffs In The Industry
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
CCP has just announced that the World Of Darkness MMO has been canceled. Among other things… It has been over two years now since we last heard about the World Of Darkness MMO and any updates. In fact the last time we heard about anything for this game was that it was definitely still in the works and that we should be expecting it. This straight from the Senior Producer's (Chris McDonough) mouth and in turn CCP. So it is sad news for me to talk about the latest announcement that the World Of Darkness MMO is no longer in the works and that we have yet another rash of layoffs in the gaming industry. Mind Freak Title Neverending Nightmares Needs To Come Sooner
by Andrew "Irradiccus" Franks [ Monday, 14th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A brief history of Neverending Nightmares and what it took to bring us an amazing demo and release window. An artist can always use his bleakest moment to shine, they can take the pain, the agony, distraught even the misery they accumulate then create their unique masterpiece with blood, sweat and tears. Matt Gilgenbach’s latest accomplishment Neverending Nightmares is the result of this formula. Suffering from both OCD and depression he wanted to create an experience that was personal to him; an experience that allowed you to step into the shoes of those who suffer from these mental illnesses. Finally A New Gameplay Trailer For The Evil Within Straight From PAX East
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Bethesda has released a new trailer for The Evil Within in the build up to PAX East. Still so many questions unanswered… If there is one thing I love about big gaming and geek conventions like PAX it is that we get awesome new trailers like the one for The Evil Within we just received. Granted, this usually means that we all have to wait an obscene amount of time to finally hear some new little tidbit for a game we are excited for but at least it comes like clockwork. Only about two months from when we got our last up date in the form of a release date for The Evil Within. Again I am deviated from the original point here. Read More...

Looks Like We Are Getting Marvel Characters In Our Disney Infinity 2.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Marvel has teased that we will be getting some heroes for Disney Infinity 2.0. Captain America is the only 'confirmed' character for now. Earlier today Marvel teased some new characters coming for Disney Infinity in the 2.0 edition of the game. Well more new character but it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume that they are going to be pumping as many characters from their universe into the video game/toy cash cow. That and the use of the iconic "Assemble" phrases that go hand in hand with the Avengers, but for right now all we get is Captain America's shield flying around bringing down the baddies of Disney Infinity. Should we all be too shocked with this announcement or tease here? Read More...

Viscera Cleanup Detail Finally Lets Us Play The Most Thankless Job
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Viscera Cleanup Detail is now up on Steam. Time to clean up those messes made by the hero… I swear sometimes you little devs never cease to amaze me and Viscera Cleanup Detail is another to add to the pile. According to the Steam website Viscera Cleanup Detail is available to purchase for $7.99 right now. It has been in alpha and beta for some time from what I have found out after hearing about the game; something I am still a bit shocked on. Wait, you haven't heard about Viscera Cleanup Detail yet? by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Daylight for Zombie Studios finally has a solid release date and a new trailer. Also some discounts to make up for the wait. It's been a bit since we heard anything for Daylight and boy do we have some fun and good news. Like for instance that it is now slated to release on the PS4 and Steam on April 29th now. That is really good new to be honest. At least if you have been looking forward to playing Daylight as long as I have. Read More...

April Fools: Razer Jokes About Something I Dreamt Up As A Child With Eidolon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Yet another April Fools' joke; this time from Razer in the form of Eidolon. A crazy augmented reality drone and contact lens system. Now here is yet another April Fools' joke straight from Razer in the form of a product called Eidolon. This is one of the more obvious jokes floating around today but the fun fact here is that I had an idea for this back when my mortal coil was a young lad. What am I talking about? Well if you haven't jumped to the video for Razer's Eidolon 'project' yet it is all about a 'power glove' of sorts that has a mini-drone that will follow you around taking video and images of your life. April Fools: Titanfall Is Getting Optimus Prime DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
An April Fools' joke from Respawn and IGN makes it look like we will be getting Optimus Prime added into Titanfall via DLC. Why is this a joke? This new Titanfall April Fools' joke is exactly why I loathe this "holiday." This looks amazing and would actually have me wanting to keep playing Titanfall for quite some time; especially if this Optimus Prime DLC was real as well as lead to other Transformers DLC for the game. Yep, their fun April Fools' joke was DLC that looks awesome and will most likely never be. Here watch for yourself. Read More...
