Two new behind the scenes looks at The Evil Within have been released to show off the art and gameplay direction that the game has taken from start to finish Today is wrapping up to be a 'behind the scenes' kind of day now with The Evil Within adding two more videos to show off what has gone into making the game. The larger difference here is that most of it is through interviews with Shinji and the development team instead of just showing off what is going on with the game's engine and design directions. None the less we all get a nice and interesting look at how the team over at Tango Gameworks is going to be trying to drive fear into all of our hearts here on October 14th. Read More...

It is another title that looks to break the mold when it comes to genre as most still cannot define Anomaly 2 as a Tower Defense style game or a Real-Time Strategy title. A new developer look at Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell has been released from Volition and Deep Silver to show off some of the gameplay Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell was announced at PAX last month and with it came a fun new trailer. It explained why we are trying to get Gat out of Hell but it didn't explain how all too well. Outside of just pimp slapping Satan and hopefully walking off into the sunset. A nice idea but I think it is going to take a whole lot more than just that to escape and to make Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell a game that is worth our time and effort. Read More...

A few new screen shots and concepts for The Evil Within have been released to show off a couple locations we will be surviving through Earlier in the week we had a nice little trailer for The Evil Within that didn't do much to show off anything we haven't seen for the game so far. It wasn't a letdown at all but I know I would have loved to see a few more places, environments, or locations that we are going to be running for our lives around. Even the "new gameplay" from the Tokyo Game Show is just another play though for the same demo levels we have seen since the big E3 showing. We have a month left so it is time we ask for a bit more. Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes has launched in EU and there were holographic heroes there to help make sure it went smooth Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes is only a few days out from launch here in the US but it looks like last night the UK had an amazing delivery to prep for the official launch tonight/tomorrow-ish (9/18). That amazing delivery also just happened to be the cast of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes going about town in hologram form to aid the delivery trucks with their precious cargo. The TGS trailer for The Evil Within has been released by Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and it is looking even more insane It looks like we have a new trailer for The Evil Within straight out of the Tokyo Game Show and it actually manages to make the game look more intense than it already did. I didn't think this was going to be possible given how amazingly freakish the game looks and sounds already but this new trailer is cut so perfectly that I can see the goal for Silent Hills coming to life here in The Evil Within. Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Unity showing off the Heist Co-op mode Before when I made comments on Assassin's Creed Unity looking more Thief-like by the day, I was just goofing around. With the latest gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Unity it looks like I am more and more on par; the most recent video of course covering the new Heist Co-op play mode for the game. This makes it so you no longer need to be assassin's but are rewarded on how much better a thief you are than a killer. The bigger difference is that in Assassin's Creed Unity it looks like Ubisoft nailed the gameplay mechanics that were lacking in other's titles… Unlike the game that will no longer be mentioned, Assassin's Creed Unity's heist mode will pit players to traverse areas to attempt to steal some item from said area. A new Bethesda Underground video has been released showing off just how they got some of those gruesome sound effects for The Evil Within We already know that The Evil Within is going to have some amazing voice talents but there is so much more to the audio for a game like this than just famous voice overs. Flesh being torn, brains being stabbed, bones being crushed, and limbs being ripped also make the fear factor of a survival horror title. All kinds of gross and nasty things need to be recorded in the mix to make you really cringe at the scenes that you are watching or playing through. Read More...

Slender: The Arrival is bringing its brand of horror to the PS3 and Xbox 360 before the end of September It's been almost a year since Slender: The Arrival released on Steam and well over a year for the release before that. To be honest I never was able to get caught up in the fun of Slenderman being that I am primarily a console player. Boo and hiss all you want but that won't change things for me right now. What is changing though is that Slender: The Arrival is being brought over to the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 23rd so now all of us gamers can experience what the phenomenon is all about. A new trailer for Let It Die has been released in the preempt to the Tokyo Game Show and it has a bit of gameplay mixed in If there was one trailer that confused the heel out of me at E3 this year it was Let It Die from Grasshopper Manufacture.
