Video Games The New Year for Video Games has started and it is time to have a refresher for some of the video games that are slated to release soon We have officially kicked off the new year and that means we have a whole new year of video games to look forward to. Not just the ones that have been announced and slated for release already, but also all of the other ones that have yet to be announced as well. There are so many possibilities it is hard to keep track of them all and we need good reminders of them. This is why I am writing all of this as it is time for a nice little recap of what we should expect in way of video games for 2019 and beyond. Read More...

The Obligatory 2018 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Video Games There were a lot of video games that came out in 2018 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here’s a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More...

At least I know I have as I have only seen the small developer diaries and short videos that Ubisoft has shared out there to date. That is why I am glad to be back here to show off some of the new gameplay for Beyond Good & Evil 2 that was actually shown off back at E3. Read More...

Agony Is Finally Getting Its Unrated Version For Halloween
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of October 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Agony An Unrated version of Agony is now releasing out there just in time to add Agony to your Halloween gaming list If you were holding out for the ever rumored and nixed Unrated version of Agony, then good on you for holding hope as it is now coming and will be launched on October 31st now. I say all of this as it has been a huge point of contention for the game and Madmind Studios even declared it would not be coming at all due to legal issues. It looks like those have been resolved somehow as it will now be heading to the PC version Agony now with no word on if it will be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. At least as of the writing of this whole bit here. Read More...

Days Gone Is Delayed Once More To Make Sure We Have The Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of October 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Days Gone Another delay has hit Days Gone and this time it is to make sure that Days Gone is not in the middle of many other releases It looks like our February 22nd of 2019 is going to open up a bit as Days Gone will no longer be dropping on that date like so many other titles that have been announced. Yes, this means that Bend Studio is going to have to delay that game yet again. You will need to look for a different way to kill some zombies on your PS4 for a bit longer as Days Gone is now slated to release on April 26th of 2019. Read More...

Days Gone Will Use Realism To Build More Gameplay Tension
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Days Gone A new behind the scenes video for Days Gone has dropped to explain how Days Gone will use a sense of realism to add to the gameplay tension in the game It may not be much for now, but we have another look at Days Gone here and how Bend Studio is aiming to use more realism in the game to add to the tension we will feel when playing. At least that is the claim here as we see how we will be forced to encounter hordes of "freakers" in the game early on and have to deal with that as we progress further into the game. Not only that but we will also have to worry about our motorcycle's status in Days Gone in terms of fuel and state of repair. Read More...

God Of War Is Adding In A New Game+ Mode Real Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War New Game+ is coming to God Of War so you can relive the epic tale with everything you unlocked already in God Of War, and much more It comes as no surprise, but we now have a release date for the announced New Game+ mode for God Of War. We heard about it a while back from Santa Monica Studio when they were talking about the Photo Mode, but now we know this will hit the PS4 on August 20th. At least for those who have completed one play through of God Of War already. It will only unlock at that point and that should not be too big of a surprise given the name and how the mode works in every other game out there. Read More...

Agony Will No Longer Be Getting Its Unrated Version
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of June 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Agony After a lot of back and forth, it looks like Agony will no longer be getting an unrated version and there may be fewer updates for Agony in the coming weeks Well, it looks like we may not be getting that unrated version of Agony after all now. At least outside of the videos that Madmind Studios has placed out there to give us a look at how the game's story could have played out and looked in its raw form. It was never anything too crazy but it was a way to make sure we all saw the version of Agony they had planned for us. It is no more now as the studio has hit some financial woes and will not be bringing this path too us now. Read More...

Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has totally been a week of video games to lead up to this year's E3.
