We Sit Down And Review Shiftlings. Is it worth your time? Do the quirky puzzles work out? Here's Our Video Review On the outside Shiftlings doesn't look like it does much to the puzzle and platforming genre for video games. Looks can and are deceiving all the time though and Rock Pocket Games is setting out to give us something we haven't experienced in a while for those two genres. Do they succeed? Do they fail? The launch trailer for Game Of Thrones' third episode, The Sword In The Darkness, is out as the episode launches this week It looks like the wait for Telltale's next episode for Game Of Thrones is going to be a lot shorter than we thought before. If you are playing the game on the PS3 or PS4 in North America then you have about 24 hours to wait as the third episode for Game Of Thrones will be out tomorrow. The rest of the platforms will be just like the rest of the game with Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 EU, and PS4 EU on Wednesday and the rest on Thursday. Press L1 To Even The Odds As Batman: Arkham Knight Has Been Delayed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed by a few weeks now but we have new footage and news to soften the blow So the bad news we have here is that it looks like Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be delayed for about three more weeks. This now pushes the official launch of the game to June 23rd from June 2nd. This news comes straight from the mouths of whoever is handling Rocksteady's PR via the game's Twitter account. I find it a bit odd that they used the word "pleased" when telling everyone out there that one of the most anticipated titles is going to have to wait another three weeks to be played but that is just me. This Week In Video Games 3/16/15 — 3/20/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of March 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Well it looks like this is week two in the heavy Mortal Kombat X video game news. Well at least again that is how it seems here again as that title totally dominated the news again. Now that we have a God Of War 3 Remastered announced and more on the other The Walking Dead video game we will hopefully get more of an array of news into the mix. If nothing more we will hopefully have a wide array of video game news after April has come finally. There can't be more MKX news after that for a while right? Read More...

So New Kinds Of Hunter Are Emerging For Evolve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Four new hunters for Evolve have been announced and will be coming along side the fourth monster at the end of the month I had a feeling that we were going to be getting more hunters for Evolve to match up the new monster that was coming. Now it looks like we have all of the details on those hunters as well as when we can see them all gracing our PS4, Xbox One, or PC in the way of more DLC. Just as Turtle Rock Studios isn't going to make us wait, I won't make you wait for the date either. We can see all of the new content landing for Evolve on March 31st. Read More...

The Dragons Are Here For Game Of Thrones — The Sword In The Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new promo banner for Game Of Thrones — The Sword In The Darkness, episode three, shows that we may be seeing more Daenerys Targaryen in the game Here we are just over a month from the last episode of Telltale's Game Of Thrones and it looks like we may be getting the third in short order here. At least that would be the normal speculation as a promo banner for the third episode of Telltale's take on the franchise has cropped up. What is interesting here of course is that it proudly displays one of the great fire-breathing worms that everyone jokes about never coming. Well if speculation is true then it looks like we may be getting more of the dragons and their mother in the coming episode of Game Of Thrones. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/9/15 — 3/13/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of March 2015 - 11:04 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This week in video game news can totally be summed up with delays and Mortal Kombat X. Hells, even Mortal Kombat X had a delay announcement for the last gen systems. Nothing like what happened to Uncharted 4 and Homefront being delayed until 2016 but at least nothing was cancelled. This of course is all to go along with the showing off of two titles coming out here soon; Battlefield Hardline and Bloodborne. Like we had any worry on those video games being delayed though… As per the usual structure here, we have a nice little list showing off all of the video game news, information, and updates that we were lucky enough to cover during the week. The Real Reasons For Batman: Arkham Knight's Mature Rating
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The ERSB has posted the explanation for why Batman: Arkham Knight is being rated 'M' for mature and it is more violence based The fact that Batman: Arkham Knight has been set as a 'M' rated title came as a bit of shock to many when we first heard about it. Up until now Rocksteady has kept everything at least a 'T' for Teen rating with all of the past Arkham titles and I am sure that Warner Bros. wanted to keep it that way as bumping the rating could and most likely will exclude some players and fans of the franchise from experiencing Batman: Arkham Knight. I feel for you up until the point of me getting an awesome and dark game for my PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Battlefield Hardline's release is upon us and Visceral Games with EA have released the launch trailer to tantalize us all more Battlefield Hardline is out in just over a week so you know what time it is? LAUNCH TRAILER TIME! Now queue the wacky sounds and inappropriate screams as we move on to watch what Visceral Games and EA have to show us to try and lure in those who are still holding out on Battlefield Hardline. This goes double for all of you out there who are bitching that it will only come with the resolution of 900p on the PS4 and 720p to the Xbox One. Most of you won't even see the difference but those in the know throw around the numbers and you latch on as you know the difference. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/23/15 — 2/27/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 28th of February 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It's week like this in the video game industry that makes sites like ours look like video game fan sites instead. By that I mean when one or two titles dominate the news for the week to the point where almost everything written and covered is on only those titles. This week Mortal Kombat X, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Final Fantasy XV did just that to us as they had so much going on to cover for the week. Those three pretty much took up 50% of the video game news on our site here. Read More...
