It was a rough week for us here but we still managed to get all kinds of news and updates out to you for our great hobby. There were a lot of big announcements to see and have out there as we had a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 and the fact that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will be getting an optimization treatment for the PC version. Red Dead Redemption 2 The latest trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 is here and it gives us even more gameplay for Red Dead Redemption 2 to excite us all Set hype levels to an all-new high as a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 is here and it has a lot more to show us than we have seen in the past. It shows off all kinds of fun old west things as well as something that look in-game or at least in the game engine. Through The Woods The dates for the console version of Through The Woods has been set and it looks like gamers will get Through The Woods sooner than thought Before you say, “Through The Woods has been out for a while,” take a step back and realize that it has been out since 2016 on the PC but had yet to cross into the console market. The Forest A full release of The Forest is here and it comes with a lot of new updates as well as a VR mode for The Forest coming soon after The wait is all but over to get a full version of The Forest out to us as the game has now left Early Access and heading to a full release. At least in terms of the PC version of the game as Endnight Games has not mentioned when the full release will be coming to the PS4. Either way, The Forest is coming and in its final-ish form as the developer claims to still be wanting to add things in and other major updates. We will all have to wait and see how that truly goes. I do not think anyone really wanted to go up against the power of God Of War. Well, except Tomb Raider that just had a nice new reveal for the game. It was more on the smaller or indie video games for the week but we did get to see that Jurassic World Evolution will be bringing a bit more of the franchise with it and more for Detroit: Become Human. Wild West Online It has been announced that Wild West Online will be leaving Early Access and coming to a full release with Wild West Online getting some extras added in The time has come as Wild West Online will be leaving the Early Access state on Steam here on May 10th. Not because it is being removed from the service but because it is finally coming in its almost final form. I say almost final because it is an MMO and 612 Games can keep the changes going well after the release and so Wild West Online can keep up with all of the other games in the similar design. It will be an undertaking but it will be giving us all that extra Westworld feel as we can run around and do all of those old west things some may have dreamt of. Read More...

Adventure Time A new gameplay trailer for Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion is here and we get another look at how this title will expand the world of Adventure Time The first gameplay trailer for Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion is now here to entice us all to head back to the Land of Ooo and tackle the high seas of the world. It has been a good bit of time since Climax Studios and Outright Games has given us anything to look at for the game, but now we have some solid gameplay to look at. Spider-Man The second Spider-Man suit we can pick up has been shown off and now Spider-Man is further connected to Infinity War with the Iron Spider We now know the second of the three pre-order suits coming to Spider-Man and it should come as no surprise that it will be the Iron Spider suit. Given that Avengers: Infinity War is just about to release and going to be part of the huge hype train for a bit well after, it would make perfect sense that Insomniac Games would go down this path. While the Iron Spider suit is not something new just for the film, this version of the suit will be based on the version Spider-Man will wear in the film. Again, not the biggest of shocks there as it was pretty much assumed back when the pre-order details were first let loose and then the timing of all of the other announcement that were to come. H1Z1 The original standalone battle royale game, H1Z1, is coming to the PS4 soon and there will be a closed beta for H1Z1 coming this May For those PS4 gamers out there who felt like they have been missing out on the H1Z1 fun and need another Battle Royale title to add into the mix, as it is getting closer to a full launch now on the platform. I say this as Daybreak Games has not announced a solid release date for the game to come, but we have open and closed betas coming at us here real soon so we should expect a final build just around the corner. Warhammer Delays have hit Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr to make sure that the title is able to bring all of the Warhammer fun to all platforms at the same time May 11th will no longer be a day that you can expect to see Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor — Martyr hit the PS4, Xbox One, or PC as the game has now been delayed. Sadly it looks like the team over at Neocore Games ran into an issue with getting all versions of the game up to snuff, with the consoles falling behind, and now we have to wait until June 5th for the game. Just a bit longer than proposed, but we will at least still be getting this Diablo-like title set in the Warhammer 40K universe still. Read More...

Spider-Man New screenshots and concept art are here for Spider-Man to give us some actions shots as well as a look at some of the villains in Spider-Man We are still all waiting for some more gameplay and descriptions for Spider-Man, but for now we have a few more screenshots and concept art to look at for the game. Yea, not the most exciting thing to talk about, but Insomniac Games does have a few more of the villains of the game to look at. At least it is easy to assume they are the villains as they are general Spider-Man villains from all other forms of the franchise. Read More...

Underworld Ascendant The first teaser of gameplay for Underworld Ascendant is here and gives a small look at where Underworld Ascendant has progressed to at this point The first gameplay for Underworld Ascendant has been released out there just recently and all to give us a feel for what OtherSide Games has been working on since the successful Kickstarter campaign from so long ago. About three years ago if memory serves, but nonetheless, we have some gameplay and a look at what we should be expecting from this team. Spider-Man A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th.
