The Evil Within Has Had Yet Another Release Date Change
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
During the Bethesda conference at Quakecon there was an announcement of a third release date for The Evil Within Unlike what will happen when playing The Evil Within, calm down. This is not another piece of bad news for The Evil Within but it is a bit of good as it was let loose that the game is now coming out a week earlier now. That means that evil will be taking hold on October 14th now instead of the 21st. That is as long as Bethesda doesn't change their minds after what they claimed at Quakecon here recently. Sacred 3's New Trailer Shows Off How Competitive The Co-Op Could Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Deep Silver and Keen Games have released a new trailer for Sacred 3 to show off the co-op game play for the game While we may not have any new gameplay footage to show off for the co-op in Sacred 3, Deep Silver has given us a look at how the gameplay could occur in a CGI video filled with carnage and fun. I am guessing that this is to show how the game should be played once you and your friends take it home. That would be something hard to capture without feeling scripted if it was gameplay for sure, but I still would have loved to see more on how the characters work together to lead up to an epic version of "Whack-A-Mole" to score higher than everyone else. It Looks Like The Walking Dead Is Getting Insanely 'Real' Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots have been released for The Walking Dead and it shows some rather dire scenes We have a few new screenshots for the next episode of The Walking Dead and it looks like there are going to be a few more deaths to affect us all. That is at least if we take that away from one of these new screenshots here. In this specific instance it looks like Kenny may be back on the market in the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead. If it is a bite or something else is still left to the imagination of the new episode but things do not look good for the group. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 7/7/14 — 7/11/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming There goes one more week of gaming news in the bag. It felt like a very directed week for gaming news if you do ask me but then again we give you what we get. Also when we get it…as long as it fits in our theme of gaming news here on the site. Granted not all of the news we have is 100% gaming related but that is splitting hairs where we don't need to be. Back to my "directed" comment. Read More...

Evolve Is Now Letting You Take The Hunt To The Real World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Turtle Rock Studios and 2K have released the files to allow us to 3D print the characters and monsters from Evolve I knew it would be only a matter of time before something like what is now available from Evolve would happen. We are now able to get the in-game models to 3D print to our heart's content so we can recreate our own loved hunts in the comfort of our own homes. That doesn't sound completely 'right' to me. We are getting to do that already with Evolve in the virtual world. Read More...

I've Never Seen Anyone This Excited For Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Audio
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been released showing off the audio direction and design of the game Not only do we want our Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare to look good, we want it to sound good too. You know, to add all that extra immersion into the gaming world while we run all over other people's homeland shooting up the "bad guys" to our heart's content. Keyword here being immersion and audio has just as much to play into that as visual and great gameplay mechanics. This is why we are bringing you the latest in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare dev diaries showing off very little of the tech going into doing just that. Read More...

Battleborn Has Been Announced And It's Not About Nevada
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Gearbox and 2K Games have announced Battleborn the next-gen hero-shooter for the PS4, XB1, and PC I guess we can now understand why Gearbox has been pushing all the Borderlands spin-offs and that is to keep the money flowing in for their new IP Battleborn. As I stated this is not a title about how Nevada became part of the United States of America but a new FPS co-op title set in the distant future. Although it could be very easy to twist the whole story back into a game about Nevada but I have a good feeling that is nowhere close to what Battleborn is going to be all about. Could you imagine though? Read More...

Let Us Spoil The Opening Scene For Sunset Overdrive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The opening cinematic for Sunset Overdrive was shown during the RTX convention and we have the video here If you don't want to have any bit of Sunset Overdrive spoiled for you here then I would suggest not going forward. I would also suggest that you stay away from coverage of the RTX convention that happened over the weekend as that was some of the big news and views that came about while most of this country was blowing up part of the land or setting fire to mammal flesh in mass quantities. The Fourth Of July to those who need that spelled out in basic words. Anyways, now that you have been warned, here is the opening scene for Sunset Overdrive. Read More...

All kinds of things too. From smaller indie games to games you will be able to play in the real world instead of your normal gaming habits. I'm not talking about any of that motion control stuff that has seemed to fall completely to the sidelines. You know what I am talking about hopefully. Read More...

Join The Chaos Squad In Sunset Overdrive's Multiplayer Mode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new multiplayer mode for Sunset Overdrive has been announced with a trailer showing off all of the new chaos Can Sunset Overdrive get any wackier? Most likely but the new co-op mode, Chaos Squad, shows off quite a bit of the insanity that we will have to deal with on October 28th via our Xbox One's and Xbox Live. If that is your jam and all. I mean who would want to play a game like Sunset Overdrive in a multiplayer aspect? Read More...

The Walking Dead Escape Is Again Letting Us Play A Survival Game At SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape is coming back to San Diego Comic Con for a third year and is allowing us gamers to try to survive a zombie apocalypse game in real life If there has been one thing that has caught my love over the last few years at San Diego Comic Con it has to be The Walking Dead Escape. If you haven't seen or heard of it or seen it you can see my 2013 run and my 2012 run or you can just look around online as the event is still touring around the country giving all of us gamers a chance to test our mettle in a real live zombie apocalypse of sorts. If you are just one of those lazy people here I'll recap what the event is all about. In a nut shell they people who put on the event take over an arena, mall, or large building structure and do it and its surroundings up as if it was a location from The Walking Dead show or comic. This Week In Gaming 6/23/14 — 6/27/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming This has been some week in terms of gaming news. It was a bit expected but not to the lull that it has been in the wake of E3. That of course didn't stop us from gathering up what we could find to update all of you with. Everything from the large titles like Batman: Arkham Knight to the smaller like Slow Down Bull. We got you covered pretty damn well here. It would defeat the purpose of giving you a recap of everything if I went over everything right now so I'll let you pick and choose what you want to see.
