Horizon Zero Dawn Is Looking Even Better On The PS4 Pro Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn New screenshots for Horizon Zero Dawn have been released showing off about how nice Horizon Zero Dawn is going to look on the PS4 Pro Back in September we were shown a bit how Horizon Zero Dawn will be using some of the new PS4 Pro features to look even better on the system. We were also assured by Guerrilla Games that those who didn't have the Pro or a 4K TV were not going to miss out on much, just some of the great advantages that these displays can give us. Now we have a few new screenshots to look at here to see just about as close as we can to what Horizon Zero Dawn will be giving us on February 28th 2017 given that we have the ability to show it all off as well as it has been crafted. There is still some time for that so don't start to freak out just yet. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/24/16 — 10/28/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site What a week in video games we just had huh? So many amazing announcements and updates we had that I am still trying to recover before the Halloween parties get into full swing. It's going to be hard with all the Final Fantasy XV and Resident Evil 7 announcements and videos we had. That is only the tip of it all as Watch Dogs 2 had quite a bit and that isn't even digging into the Dishonored 2 stuff that we had this week. Read More...

It Looks Like Evolve Most Likely Won't Reach Stage 3 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Evolve We've seen Evolve become something amazing but it looks like Evolve will no longer be changing and evolving as future development ceases If you thought that Evolve going free-to-play was an amazing thing and was going to bolster the player base back up to launch day proportions then you were…apparently wrong. At least that seems to be the case here as 2K Games has taken ownership of the game and Turtle Rock Studios will no longer be updating or tweaking the game from now on. This may or may not change in the future but as of now Evolve is stuck at Stage 2 and most possibilities of updates and Stage 2 coming to the PS4 and Xbox One are all on the back burners now. Just exactly what we all could have hoped for Telltale Games to give us for the middle of the season. It fits on about par with all of the other IPs that they have in the works or we've experienced and it feels just about right for Batman here. Read More...

The Countess Is On Her Way To Stalk The Lands Of Paragon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Paragon The next hero for Paragon has been revealed and it looks like a Vampire is joining Paragon for after Halloween The next hero for Paragon has been announced and detailed out and it looks like we are getting a vampire character in the mix just before Halloween here. Yes, Epic Games is still doing their holiday event with all the skins but here we go with a full on hero that fits the holiday and will be sticking around well after it. Well, at least after she comes to Paragon on October 25th during the usual update that we get for the game on the PS4 and PC when it is time to bring out the new characters. I kind of feel like we all should have seen this one coming but we didn't just yet. Read More...

Review — Aragami
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Aragami We sit down and review Aragami. A new stealth ninja game that has a slaying from the shadows again Here's our review of Aragami It's always fun when games sneak out on us and it is even more fun when games like Aragami do just that as that is part of the gameplay. The stealth part and not the sneaking out without notice. None the less Lince Works has brought us this new stealth ninja game and we've had the chance to give it a nice little play through. Aragami brings us some great classic gameplay from titles like it as well as a new little story to have fun with. Read More...

The Machines Of Horizon Zero Dawn Are Ever Evolving It Seems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn A new behind the scenes video for Horizon Zero Dawn is out there to show off more of Horizon Zero Dawn's machines and ecology February 28th is still a ways off for Horizon Zero Dawn to hit the PS4 but it looks like things are still evolving and changing for the game as it continues to be developed. Of course this isn't anything new to the development process but it does look like Guerrilla Games is continuing the evolution of their machines in the game just as nature intended. At least the nature of Horizon Zero Dawn as it looks in the following behind the scenes look at the game where the team goes into detail on how each of the machines has changed over the course of the cycle here. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption 2 All of the earlier teases were for Red Dead Redemption 2 and now the cat is out and we can expect Red Dead Redemption 2 Fall of 2017 The cat is finally out of the bag officially and now we have Red Dead Redemption 2 to look forward to in the coming year. Earlier today Rockstar Games finally announced the game but has given very little information out side of the name and a feature or two that we can expect. Although one of those new Red Dead Redemption 2 was kind of ruined by Take-Two Interactive through a web registration before the official announcement, but more on that in a moment. For now we can focus on the game getting the announcement and heading to the PS4 and Xbox One next Fall. Read More...

Some Kind Of Red Dead Announcement Is Coming
by Duke Searles [ Monday, 17th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Red Dead More teases for another Red Dead title looks to be on the verge of announcing as we get multiple Red Dead images popping up online It's always fun to get teases like the ones we've seen for a possible new Red Dead title in the wee hours of the morning. At least that is what started all of this off as early on 10/16 Rockstar Games put out a new logo that used the iconic red colors used in the franchise. Then this morning it was followed up by another new image showing off what looks to be a bunch of people in western gear walking away from the sun. Something very iconic for the Red Dead franchise so it could look like a new title is on the verge of announcement. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/10/16 — 10/14/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site And thus completes our week in video games. Well more the week in news and updates about games but I'm sure you get the point by now. We've been all over the place here again as we had some amazing updates for Friday The 13th and Battlefield 1. We also were able to see how fast both Hitman and King's Quest could be on getting out their next and final episodes and that is not to exclude the fact that Batman is getting another so quick as well. All kinds of great updates for our video games even if some of them seemed to be a bit basic in the end. Read More...

Batman: The Telltale Series' Third Episode Has A Date & It's Missing A Face
by Julia Schoebel [ Wednesday, 12th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Batman The third episode of Batman: The Telltale Series has a release date and it looks like one of Batman's iconic villains is showing his face again It seems like only days ago that we had the second episode of Batman: The Telltale Series release and now we are on the verge of having yet another one release. Thankfully Telltale Games has given us a release date of October 25th as of now for the next episode to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with dates for the other platforms to come later. I am a bit curious to know if anyone has been playing this Batman title on the older systems lately to warrant any kind of concern on the delay for them but as of right now this is the date that we have and we can all deal with it as we want. Paragon Gets Into The Spirit With Shadow's Eve Skins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Paragon The Halloween festivities kick off for Paragon as new skins will be available for Paragon just in time for the upcoming holiday As is the case everywhere this time of year, Paragon is joining in the Halloween fun by giving us a set of new skins to play in the game. Seven new skins to be exact and for seven of the heroes already crafted for the game by Epic Games already. It looks like we are going to see a whole new side to Paragon here; at least if you are willing to pay and/or play the hell out of the game over the next few weeks. Yes, there are a few catches here to be able to get the skins for free but that is just how life always seems now doesn't it? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/3/16 — 10/7/16
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of October 2016 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games Thus concludes yet another fun week in video games. It was all over the place from the look of things but we were there every step of the way to make sure that we were able to cover everything. Or at least as much as we could get to during the week. It was sad to see that Styx was hit with a delay but getting to try out Outlast 2 for the next month made up for it all. Read More...
