This Week In Video Games 2/7/22 — 2/11/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 12th of February 2022 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We can finally put a pin in this week and dive into all of those video games we have here now. We had a few more launches this week and still have some others in the pipe, so it is good that this one was not as intense as usual. Even if we did need to spend a whole lot of money picking up that Evil Dead: The Game collector's edition and then lose our minds over The Wolf Among Us 2 in the mix. Do not even get me started on Atomic Heart and then other video games like Assassin's Creed getting a whole new expansion. Read More...

Evil Dead The pre-orders for Evil Dead: The Game are here and they are bringing some amazing Evil Dead goodies too The pre-orders have begun for all of us to join in on Evil Dead: The Game for all of the platforms. This is one of those titles that I have been looking forward to for a while now, and not it looks like Saber Interactive has it all ready for us all. You can head out now and pre-order this gem to snag two extra skins for Ash in the game. Weirdly, not based around the directly named Evil Dead films, but the Army Of Darkness film. Read More...

Evil Dead: The Game Has Been Delayed Just A Bit Longer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of January 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
Evil Dead A delay has hit Evil Dead: The Game now and Evil Dead fans will need to wait a few more months for the game It felt like it was coming since we never had a solid release date for Evil Dead: The Game beyond February, but it looks like we have a delay for the game now. It does not hit that hard because of this, thankfully, but it looks like Saber Interactive needs a bit more time to make sure it is ready for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. While it is a bit of a letdown that we have to wait a bit longer for Evil Dead: The Game, we do have a release date set down that is definitely solid now. May 13th is now the date that we will see it out there. Read More...

The Original Cast Is Now All-In For Evil Dead: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of December 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Evil Dead Evil Dead: The Game now has the entire original cast from Evil Dead in the game in some major form Things seem to be shaping up well for Evil Dead: The Game, even if we still have to wait until February to be able to experience it. There is still no word on the specific date or form that we will be able to add this title to our collection and it feels like Saber Interactive is just waiting to jump scare us all with that. Just as they did with the announcement that the full cast from the original Evil Dead will not be in the game in some form or another. The voices of Linda (Betsy Baker) and Shelly (Theresa Tilly) are now confirmed to give us more of that authentic feel to the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC when it does drop. Evil West Gives Us Some Fast-Paced Gameplay To Explore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of December 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Evil West The first gameplay for Evil West is here to show us just how crazy some of Evil West will flow out there Evil West was a title that when it was first announced and highlighted, I was a bit skeptical. The name and premise put forth by Flying Wild Hog just felt like one of those out-there concepts that was leaning in on that to help get everyone excited. Now, we have the first gameplay for Evil West and I may have to eat some of those words and start diving deeper in. Going deeper now with the first full gameplay showing for the game that could have a whole new level of cult following on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2022. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of November 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Evil Below A new horror title, Evil Below, is on the way from the latest PlayStation Talents that will test us as we fight the evil below There are going to be many new horrors coming to us out there with the announcement and teaser we have for Evil Below coming to the PS4, PS5, and PC here. I say here as if we have a solid release date or window set down from Fire Raven Studios for the game, which we do not as of yet. What we do have is a nice little teaser to let us know that the smaller team is working on the game and that we will have Evil Below at some point. That and offer up a little look at the gameplay that we will get to experience when the day does finally come and we have it loaded on our systems. Read More...

The Devil In Me The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me has a few more details out there with a new trailer to entice us further into The Devil In Me Shortly after the last chapter launched for the anthology, we had the reveal of The Dark Pictures: The Devil In Me as it would be the final chapter in this season of the overall story. Resident Evil 4 VR Brings The Gameplay This October Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of September 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The release date for Resident Evil 4 VR is set with an October release date to give us all more of the Resident Evil frights We had the tease out there for Resident Evil 4 way back earlier in the year and a small bit of gameplay to enjoy. Nothing that we could write home about at the time from Armature as it was just announced and very little gameplay to look at for it. One thing it did show off was that it looked quite a bit like Resident Evil 4 from back in the day. It is something a little bit needed for the hardware, as it is a release on the Oculus Quest 2 here. Read More...
