Werewolves Within A new VR game, Werewolves Within, has been announced and pits players against each other to see who truly has a Werewolves Within… The mainstream VR hardware is still a bit off from release and it looks like we have yet another odd game to add to the list as Werewolves Within has just been announced. While the title does sound a bit goofy it does look like Red Storm is trying to make something truly unique out of the gate for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR. Quantum Break A new cinematic trailer for Quantum Break has been released and it adds some darker tones to Quantum Break with a cover of Nirvana If for some reason you didn't have a good grasp on how the theme of Quantum Break will feel then it is time to see yet another cinematic trailer for the game. I swear Remedy wants to pump out more of these then any real gameplay but seeing as Quantum Break is using a very life like structure for the characters what you are about to see could quite easily be gameplay and we just don't know it. Syndrome A new horror title named Syndrome has been announced and it looks like it is taking pages from all kinds of horror video games out there Horror fans you can add another title into the list as it looks like Syndrome has been announced and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux platforms in Q2 of 2016. No this is not a horror title about what would happen if the villain from The Incredibles won the day but a sci-fi horror title being made by Camel 101 and Bigmoon Entertainment. It has been announced that Mega Man is getting a silver screen adaptation of the franchise so let's hope it stays true The title, again, here pretty much takes the cake as it looks like Mega Man is getting a film adaptation for the game and it is slated to hit the big screens and not just straight to DvD. 20th Century Fox will be the big named studio behind this project but before you start your shuddering it looks like Chernin Entertainment has already tapped a few proven and talented people to make sure this Capcom title doesn't go the way of video game movies. The Prototype Biohazard Bundle has been quietly released and is bringing Prototype and Prototype 2 to the next gen systems as of today Talk about the most silent release ever as the Prototype Biohazard Bundle is available as you are reading this and I have not even heard of its existence to date. This would be a HD remsatered bundle of Radical Entertainment's amazing titles [Prototype] and [Prototype 2]. A new gameplay demo for Alan Wake 2 has made its way online to show us the Alan Wake 2 game we may never get It always sucks when a game like Alan Wake 2 will never see the light of day. Pun intended. What sucks more is when you get to see what the game could have been via gameplay demo and proof of concept work. That is what we have here to spread the hurt from Remedy moving on to do Quantum Break over Alan Wake 2 for their next huge title. Microsoft Studios has officially announced that Quantum Break will be coming in 2016 now instead of the original release window It was rumored and "misunderstood" before that Quantum Break was on the delayed list for titles this year. Remedy Games made sure that we were all corrected at the time and led us to believe that Quantum Break was still going to be hitting the Xbox One sometime this year. Most likely late this year. It's been announced that there is a new Friday The 13th title in the works from Crystal Lake Entertainment and an un-named developer Good news for us horror fans, maybe, as there is a new Friday The 13th video game in the works. This is to go hand in hand with the new TV show and film but hopefully will not be solely a tie-in for the franchise. A test market survey for Far Cry from Ubisoft was sent out and it alludes to other options that we may see for the franchise moving forward Marketing surveys can be fun and in the case of the most recent one for Far Cry from Ubisoft it looks like the fun doesn't stop. In fact it flows and has now added all kinds of speculation to the future of the franchise that they are still doing extremely well with. At least last I checked Far Cry 4 was still one of their top selling titles from last year but the video game industry can be a fickle bitch.
