by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of January 2025 - 10:00 PM ]
Backrooms New gameplay for The Backrooms: 1998 is here to show how The Backrooms will be opening up for the consoles We had a nice little announcement that The Backrooms: 1998 was coming out with a full version for the PC and then there would be a release on the consoles sometime soon. That time is still a little nebulous as of right now, but Feardemic does want to make sure we all know this is going to be happening. All so more of the gaming community can experience a different take on the found footage nature of The Backrooms: 1998 and see just how the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch could be handling this little project when those versions are ready. So, this is a two-for-one kind of update as the 1. Read More...

Rise Of The Ronin Is Now Wandering Onto Our PCs Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of January 2025 - 10:00 PM ]
Rise Of The Ronin A PC release for Rise Of The Ronin is on the way with Rise Of The Ronin getting all of the usual upgrades for that I think it is high time that we stop claiming games are only going to be for a specific platform from the start, as Rise Of The Ronin is now on its way to the PC after a nice little year of being on the PS5. Even first-party titles are getting shifted over, so it only makes sense that a title from Team Ninja would get ported over to the PC after having a short little tenure there. Maybe it is just me, but it is what it is. Read More...

The House Of The Dead 2: Remake Is On The Way To Give Us More Rail-Shooter Fun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of January 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
House Of The Dead Another bit of House Of The Dead fun is on the way back to us all with the announcement for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake It looks like we all loved the first remake that was out there that now we have The House Of The Dead 2: Remake on the way to us all now. I mean, Megapixel Studio and Forever Entertainment did an amazing job bringing us the previous remake to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC that it would make sense for them to bring the next one back to us all. Even if we do need to wait until the Spring of this year to see how The House Of The Dead saga continues in our homes. Those of us who were able to play the originals in arcades might know how it all goes, but that was half a century ago, so it would be understandable if we all forgot some of that along the way. This Week In Video Games 12/23/24 — 12/27/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 28th of December 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week As we though, this has been a rather short and slow week for all of our video games out there. We still had a few fun and new announcements, but a good portion of it all was catching up on things like the Ōkami sequel that is on the way, a look at the next thing for Dying Light, new modes for Hollowbody, and getting Think As Thieves out there in the mix. Not a week full of video games, sure, but one that had a whole lot for us to look at even with all of the holidays that have been going down. If only there was a good way to keep things going and the lights on better without needing to do all of the hard work when we should be having some happy times. Read More...
