Yet Another October Release

Fallout 3 Available October 28 Well at least for the US. You people in the Europe Area (Yea I said you people. Wanna fight about it?) have to wait another 3 days from that. Metal Gear Online World Championship

If you think you're good at MGO try putting your skills to upcoming tournament. Konami and Major League Gaming announced that registration is now open for the Metal Gear Online World Championship. The top two teams from the North American Qualifier will head to the Tokyo Games Show for the finals against the best from Europe, Japan, and Korea/Greater Asia. Winners will get prizes and $8,000. BioShock Dated And Given Extras So those of you who have heard the hype about Bioshock but were too lazy to get it on the PC or XBox, or only have a PS3, you might have known that it was getting a PS3 release. Well, today it was dated for the gaming world. That's right, the 21st of October. Not bad timing, except that Dead Space is coming out around the same time. But I doubt that will hurt them any. New DragonForce Guitar Hero DLC So coming this Thursday, there will be yet more YouTube videos floating about of 8 year olds going insane on their Guitar Hero controllers. Why? Because there is going to be three new downloadable songs from DragonForce on the game. That's right, now there will be 4 of their songs on the game. Nuts and Bolts goes on pre-order today for $40 and if you pre-order before November 14th you'll get a free download code for the original Banjo Kazooie 2 weeks prior to it's release. Duke Nukem 3D for XBLA Completed & Passed Final Certification

It is official guys, Duke Nukem 3D will be hitting your 360 very soon as a XBLA title.  3DRealms has officially announced that it has been completed for some time and passed final certification with Microsoft as of August 15th. The game will feature online co-op and multiplayer deathmatches and will have 12 achievement points (9 offline, 3 online).  There is no scheduled release date for the game as of yet, but 3DRealms said to expect game previews to pop up online by August 26th.  Price has also not been announced, but you can expect it to be between 800 ($10) and 1200 ($15) Microsoft Points, which falls in line with most XBLA releases. Open Beta For Warhammer Online Given If you are one of those people who really wanted in to the beta for the new Warhammer Online game, but were shafted. Well all hope is not lost. Kind of. Sometime this month, a Mega Man sports drink called "Rockman E Can Drink" is hitting Japanese beverage retailers to mark the launch of downloadable title Megal Man 9. It's made by "original drink" maker Apris and priced at ¥137 (US$1.24). Times like this I wish I was in Japan. Maybe we'll get some here in America. Read More...

Final Fantasy XIII demo lasts over 2 hours!

According to the upcoming DKS3713 issue of Famitsu magazine, The upcoming PS3 demo of Final Fantasy XIII will clock in at a longer running time than the CGI film, Final Fantasy Advent Children. The original version of Advent Children is about 101mins long. The Blu-Ray version will feature scenes that were either cut out or not finished in time for the final release.     Here is a list of other tidbits revealed from the three-page spread in Famitsu: -The Final Fantasy XIII demo will be based from the opening section of the game. -The demo will come on a separate disc rather than on the Advent Children Blu-ray. With about a month away, Capcom has let us in on some of the bosses that will be encountered throughout the game.     Concrete Man: Created to construct a dam, Concrete man can actually design a dam and supervise its entire construction. Sega wants to make you beautiful

Sega is hard at work to make you beautiful. The gaming company has teamed up with the make-up powerhouse Shiseido to bring women and men a personal beauty consultant. Project Beauty will be hitting shelves in Japan on November 27 on the Nintendo DS. The game will be used with a scanning device that will take a digital image of the players face and feed it into the DS. After scanning your face you will be put into one of four groups; Cool, Active, Cute or Feminine. You then have the option of the game telling you what's best for your particular face or you can decide for yourself by mixing and matching different colors. Read More...

TF2 Heavy update next Tuesday

Valve announced today that there will be a "Heavy Update" in TF2 next week. it is said to be "the largest update to Team Fortress 2 since it was first released". It will bring with it new maps, new Achievements, new game modes and a special installment of the "Meet the Team" video series.
