Battle Through The Underworld, Again, With The Full Launch Of Hades II
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Hades Get ready to fully head back into Hades with the full launch version of Hades II coming very soon It only took a little bit of time, but it seems Chronos has finally seen it fit to bring the full version of Hades II out to us all. Well, more than Supergiant Games has been working hard to get the game to a full release state from the Early Access going on and is now ready to take us further into the Underworld. All so we can break free of that and bring Chronos down a peg or two. Maybe that is why we have the announcement now, but we will still have more time to wait until September 25th when Hades II will fully launch on the PC, Switch, and Switch 2. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 10th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The next clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is casting a few more spells to boil our blood in Bloodlines 2 Things are getting a little more magical out here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, as we have the next clan to be highlighted in the mix of the game. Here we have the Tremere on the way to the game as one of the other clans that Phyre can hail from when we load the game up. One of many, as The Chinese Room seems to be aiming to have as many as possible as part of the core experience now. Read More...

New Cyberpunk Mysteries Are Unlocked With The Announcement For Dreadcore: Locked Unit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Dreadcore Head out into the world with Dreadcore, and a new cyberpunk horror with the announcement we have for Dreadcore: Locked Unit It feels oddly fitting that we have had a few dystopian and cyberpunk-style horror games announced here, and now we go out there with Dreadcore: Locked Unit. A new one on the way from a lone developer that is going to lean into some different themes than we have had as of late when looking at the genre. Themes like transhumanism and false freedom, to name a few, which weirdly do feel on point for the current climate out there. All so we can see more of the Dreadcore line out there and have a new and dark experience on our PC when it does come out there. Read More...

The Clan Of Kings Walks Amongst Us In Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by Juliet Meyer [ Wednesday, 3rd of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 See more of the Ventrue as they will be in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, and some of the powers that will be in our hands in Bloodlines 2 Even as all of the issues with the clans are going down for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, talking about the ones still behind a paywall, we do have something to sink our teeth into for the game. In fact, it is something more in terms of the clans, with The Chinese Room starting to let us have some looks at the various ones we are going to get to play in this World Of Darkness. All so we have a better idea of what we are going to want to start our run of Bloodline 2 with when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 21st. Read More...

Marvel’s Deadpool VR Offers Up A New Contract For Our Story
by Juliet Meyer [ Friday, 29th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Deadpool Fans of Deadpool have another weird story on the way to us all when it comes to Marvel’s Deadpool VR It's story time out here for Marvel’s Deadpool VR. Well, at least a bit more to the story that Twisted Pixel Games is working on and willing to toss our way during Gamescom. Even if it is still jarring to hear different voices bringing the Merc With A Mouth to life. That is a whole different topic now, especially since the story also gives us another massive voice talent in the mix, and various other characters we are going to see in the game. Well, more than Deadpool is going to have to face off with in the game, if you take the story at face value. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 25th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 A quick look at the second playable character in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is out here, along with some extra gameplay for Bloodlines 2 Things are still flowing out there for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 after we had the release date announcement from Gamescom. Thankfully, this new little bit that is hot on the heels from what The Chinese Room gave us is leaning more into us actually getting the game on October 21st for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Even if it does show us yet another of the clans in Bloodlines 2 that we might not be getting with Phyre from the start. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of August 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Styx See Styx in action again, with the first bit of gameplay for the upcoming Styx: Blades Of Greed out of Gamescom One always has to love when new gameplay sneaks its way out to us, and who better to do that than a master of stealth with Styx: Blades Of Greed. The third main title in the line that Cyanide Studios is working on, and now we have a small taste of what might be changed up when Nacon brings the title to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming Fall. Not a whole lot of time between now and then, and there are still a bunch of questions still out there for this new Styx. So, let us shed some light on just how the game is going to flow, and then maybe see if we can see some of the newer gameplay options or mechanics that we are going to have in the mix. Read More...

Smile For The Camera As We Are All Going To Be Better Than Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Better Than Dead Rush into the brutal gunplay of Better Than Dead, with a new bodycam shooter that Better Than Dead will be giving us all The run of bodycam games keeps on flowing, as we get to see Better Than Dead making its way on out there now. Unlike the others, though, this one looks as if it is moving down a different genre than we have seen in the others before now. Something that I am sure MicroProse will be amped to show off with Better Than Dead leaning more to the FPS and action side of things instead of the usual horror bits we have had before now. As long as you are truly in the market to get a new bodycam title on the PC. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. If you want a break from things, at least, which I know we need after all the fun of SDCC 2025 that we had. There was the follow-up and opening of Universal Horror Unleashed, which we had a chance to check out and review. So, it feels like we have earned some time with our video games out there. This Week In Video Games 7/30/25 — 8/1/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of August 2025 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week So, it was a shorter week for us, given that we just made it all back from SDCC. That did not mean we did not have a whole lot to share out there for the week in video games and all of the other aspects, just that we had such little time. Especially as we are getting everything from Peacefest and Peacemaker out there from SDCC 2025, as well as our fun from the Clown In A Cornfield Experience we had to do. That was not even the video games that were offered out there with Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival having the announcement and Toxic Crusaders finally getting a release date. Read More...
