Prosperity Is On Its Way To Us In Endzone: A World Apart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of July 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Endzone A new expansion is on its way to Endzone: A World Apart with Prosperity bringing us all out of the ground for Endzone The world is ever expanding for Endzone: A World Apart out there with the next big expansion poised to hit us this Fall on the PC. It is not something that we fully expected at this point from Gentlymad Studios but we will always take what we can for the game. Especially when it comes to something called Prosperity in the world that we know Endzone to be in. As the name suggests, it looks like things could be getting better or we are just trying to do what we can to get toward that goal. Read More...

Review — Ragnaröck
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Ragnaröck We sit down and review Ragnaröck. A new VR Rhythm game for those virtual Vikings out there. Here is our review of Ragnaröck The day is finally here and Ragnaröck is upon us all. Not in the way of the end of times, I know this joke gets old, but in the way of the latest Rhythm VR title that is out there from WanadevStudio for the PC platforms out there. Yes, that version of it all where we will be smashing some runes out there to get all of our Vikings rowing the longboats just a bit faster. Yes, technically, Ragnaröck is a Rhythm and a Racing game out there as one feeds into the other. Read More...

A New Type Of Horror Is Coming For Us With The Announcement For MADiSON
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
MADiSON Psychological horror title MADiSON has been announced and with it, it looks like MADiSON will have us doing some dark and horrible things The horrors keep coming, as we have an announcement for another title in the PC mix by the way of MADiSON. This would be a new psychological horror title coming out of the minds over at Nosebleed Games for us to partake in and it looks like it will be hitting many of the more recent notes that our horror games have been hitting. Things like walking alone in a dark house, having many different jump scares, and the inevitable creature in the darkness that will show up when we do not want it to. That is not to say that MADiSON does not look interesting, but it will be capturing some of the steps that we have seen in various other horror titles out there already. Read More...

Ragnaröck Is Now Set Down To Fully Smash Us Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Ragnaröck VR title, Ragnaröck, is leaving Early Access and going into a full release to bring Ragnaröck one step closer to us The end of times is almost upon us with Ragnaröck just around the corner for us all to experience. No, I am not talking about the true end of it all, but the VR title that WanadevStudio has been working on and had in an Early Access state for a while now. The version of Ragnaröck that is a VR Rhythm game set around us striking drums to the beat of some massive songs to make our longships race. It is a fun little twist to the genre of games here and looks like it could lead to much more than just trying to score big in the game. Read More...

Kingdom Of The Dead Will Take Us Back Into A Different Era Of FPS
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Kingdom Of The Dead A new retro FPS, Kingdom Of The Dead, is coming and it looks like Kingdom Of The Dead will play with some lights to give us some old fun There is certainly a run on "retro" style video games as of late as we add another to the list with Kingdom Of The Dead. Retro in the way that the teams are opting to go with the lower-end visuals and styles to bring us a new game and then hopefully focus on the gameplay mechanics a bit more. That is the hope once again with this new title as we have from Dirigo Games that looks the part. From the gameplay here for Kingdom Of The Dead, it also looks like it could walk the walk when it does launch on the PC in 2022. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That wraps up more of the news and updates for this week and all of the other video games we had out of this year's E3. We barely had a chance to get to all of them, but we did get to make a dent into the over 180 titles that did get the highlight during the event. Video games such as Hellblade 2, Psychonauts 2, and S.T. Read More...

The Gameplay Is Ever-Shifting Within Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Tandem Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows has some new gameplay to show off how we will need to work in Tandem to survive the nightmares Let us inject some more dark and creepy gameplay from Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows into your life here now that E3 is mostly over with here. It was a bit more to show off how the characters would interact in the game that kind of was left in the shadows. Something that works well for the theme and design that Monochrome Paris is going for here, but not the best to get us all amped up for Tandem to hit the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC when it does finally come. Well, not amped up until you get to see more on how this doll and teddy bear work together to make their way through the levels that have been crafted for them. Read More...

The Saga Is Still In The Works For Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Hellblade A new update for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is here out of E3 to let us know how the next Hellblade is shaping up Another title that felt like it was missing in all of the big to do around this year's digital E3 was Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. Given all of the Xbox Series X titles that were getting pumped out there, it felt a little off that Ninja Theory did not have much to offer up. That was until a bit after the fact where we were able to get a small update on how Hellblade 2 is shaping up. Even if it is still in an insanely early form of it all, we are going to be getting updates as we saw with the last title to let us know just how things are going. Read More...

We Might Kill Some Chaos In Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy A new Final Fantasy game was announced during this year’s E3 with Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin I hope you are ready for some new kind of chaos in your life, as that is what Stranger Of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin seems to be bringing into it all for us. This would be one of the unnamed titles that Square Enix had to show off during E3 this year and it was definitely one of the more questionable ones. It also happens to be one of those titles that were rumored out there with it being a Soulslike title inspired by Final Fantasy and not any kind of sequel or spin-off that the name might suggest. Given that the trailer here is all about our team of three heading out to kill of chaos and end some nonsense, it has made more of it out there than could have been expected. Read More...

Minds Will Shatter Within Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Vampire New gameplay for Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong is here from E3 and we get a look at another Vampire in the mix of it all Things are getting a little more insane for Vampire: The Masquerade — Swansong after the latest trailer we have for the game fresh out of E3 this year. Partially in the way that we are still waiting for that release date or window but also in the way that Big Bad Wolf is adding in another character for us to play with. This one being Leysha, a Malkavian, and those that are anywhere up on their Vampire: The Masquerade lore will know where this is going. This would be the clan of vampires that have their minds and sanity shattered by the transformation into the new form. Read More...
