Review: Spider-Man: Edge Of Time

Just in the nick of time, Spider-Man is back in another game for us to take on the many comic book villains who plague New York in Spider-Man: Edge Of Time. While not a direct sequel to last year's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, it does have at least two of the dimensions represented and makes reference to the "Other Guys" from the game. Review: X-Men: Destiny

I am both a fan of X-men and comic books in general. I have many fond memories of playing the four-player, beat-em up style Konami arcade game back in the 80's and I have spent more than a few hours playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with my buddies. Silicon Knights' newest title, X-Men: Destiny, should have been a no-brainer - backed by such a great concept as it boasted being the next great brawling action game where you could create the mutant you always believed should be in this universe. Unfortunately due to its execution, the game becomes really diluted, which knocks it down a few notches on the likeability scale. WarCorner: Blizzard Announces Vanity Pet Murkablo

Blizzcon is less than two months away and Blizzard has just announced that players who attend Blizzcon '11 on October 21st and 22nd at the Anaheim convention or those that pay $40 for the Pay Per View virtual ticket, will get the highly anticipated vanity pet Murkablo. It's like having a little Diablo in your Warcraft. Although this is not the first Diablo vanity pet found in World of Warcraft, as Mini-Tyrael was the pet given out at Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational back in 2008, it's still very exciting. We saw some brief video of this little fire breather back in June when a few data mining sites pulled him from the "depths of hell" and gave us a short preview. Read More...

Diablo III Brings Real Currency Trading

Well here's some interesting Diablo III news. Players will be able to exchange in game items for real currency! The service will be hosted through an unannounced third party company. The Auction House will be very similar to an E-Bay style system but also completely optional. Players will be able to purchase gold, weapons, armor and runestones on their current Battle.net accounts, but Blizzard says there will be no "Game play affecting" items available for this type of trade. At the time of this writing Blizzard has no plans to post items directly and will leave the item trading up to the players. Read More...

Behind The Scenes With X-Men Destiny

With an original story-line where you play as a new mutant within the X-men Universe, players will have the ability to make choices throughout the game, and your "Destiny" will be determined by these RPG style decisions. Golden Eye 007: Reloaded Announced At Comic-Con '11

GoldenEye is probably one of the greatest FPS's of all time and as of last year we got a port of the game on the Nintendo Wii. Which for a time brought back some of the N64 nostalgia. Well Activision announced today that they will release GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. Only this time on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, chock full of upgraded features. Finally Some Prototype 2 Screens

Maybe it is just me, or because we are still a year out from launch, but the visuals for Prototype 2 don't seem to be going the way most sequels go. Usually there is some insane boost or extreme change in how things look. From the below screen I'd swear that they were take straight out of the first game. Not that it is a bad thing, but a little unexpected. I do have to say that some of these shots do have me raring to go back and play the original Prototype just because of how much fun I originally had. Read More...

Activision To Release A New Call Of Duty, More Talk Of Project Beachhead

One important bit of news was a new Call of Duty title that would be released before the end of this year. Diablo III Beta Test Starting In Q3!

Yes, Diablo III's external beta test is almost upon us and it's been confirmed by Blizzard'svery own Mike Morhaime. Unlike Mass Effect 3, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is still on track for its June release. I mean it better be as Activision is trying to get it out in the same window as the upcoming film as well.
