Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou, an upcoming japanese title on the Nintendo Wii, has released its latest trailer featuring Aya Hirano. The game features a dancing mode, which Aya shows off in this trailer, and the moves you make with the Wiimote simulate those of the actual dancing. For those who may not know, the game is based off of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Aya Hirano is the actual voice actress of Haruhi in Japan. A Tale Of Greek Tragedy? The Good: One thing that I really loved about this game was the story telling of the game. First that it was very Greek and somewhat very close to something one would read in their Ancient Histories class. Second, the fact that you could choose your own adventure as you go a long, with choices based on one of the four patron gods of the game. And these choices are more than what other games allow for. For all those who played Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts and had a hard time reading all the small text, you'll be pleased to know that the patch to enlarge the text is out now. This had caused problems because there was no voice acting in the game, like the other 2 Banjo Kazooie games, and certain underpowered rigs made it hard to read the dialog which contains clues and instructions throughout the game. Hideo Kojima said to wait a few more weeks for a public announcement on a upcoming Metal Gear project. But scans from Famitsu pretty much spoiled it. Metal Gear is coming to the Iphone. Konami have also given us some details on the game. It's an original title in the MGS4 world with 8 stages with more to be made soon and obviously controlled by the touchpad. It happened to the Dynasty Warriors series, it happened to pretty much any EA Sports series, and it happened to Armored Core. So with the release of Armored Core For Answer, the thirteenth game in the series, it’s no surprise that even with Ubisoft taking over as publishers, developers From Software have stuck with the two basic elements of an Armored Core game. Turns out the Europeans are getting Halo Wars nearly a week before North and South America. The last time we saw a James Bond video game that tied into a movie was the release of The World is Not Enough in November of 2000 and it wasn’t so hot. Since then there have been a handful of very good games based on original Bond stories and then of course there was an adaptation of From Russia with Love which once again fell a little short of expectations. But now Bond is going through a reboot phase in the movies, and with the license switching hands from EA to Activision, the latest Bond game Quantum of Solace, has gone through some similar changes. This review is long overdue, but with a very busy schedule lately, it’s better late than never.Gears of War 2 is Epic Games sequel to the acclaimed original, which was one of the best games to ever grace the XBox 360. Since the days of the original PlayStation, the holy trinity of Sony exclusive developers, Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, and Sucker Punch have always worked hard to produce amazing, wholly original content for the various Sony consoles. Today it was first revealed by Game Informer that Naughty Dog, creators of Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter are working on a follow-up to their hugely popular PS3 title Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The sequel titled Uncharted 2: Among Thieves follows Nathan Drake on an adventure involving the voyages of 13th century explorer Marco Polo. Over in Japan, a super rare Famicom (NES) title has sold at auction for over ¥401,010, which converts to roughly $4,250. The title of said game is Kikenbutsu no Yasashii Butsuri to Kagaku, or “The Tender Physics & Science of Explosive Materials”. Turns out Harmonix is giving us Nine new songs before the week is out. There are various singles from various bands (Unfortunatly Two are from the Nickelodeon band The Naked Brothers). These songs apparentley cast a wide net over different ages, genres, language, demographic and pricing structure. Along with the obligatory "paid for" tracks from aritsts like Children of Bodom, Finley,Platero y Tu, Squeeze, Tokio Hotel and the All-American Rejects there is a free track from Miranda Cosgrove called "Headphones On".
