Square Enix Not to be left out of SDCC, Square Enix is bringing all kinds of games and events to make sure you have been able to experience all Square Enix has to offer Just as the many year's past, Square Enix will be back at SDCC this year and bringing with them all of the games that we have been keeping an eye on and hoping to play sooner rather than later. Sadly, it does not look like they are bringing much in the way of Final Fantasy, but they are truly pushing Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts III just as they did out at E3. Not the biggest of surprises given the proximity to the release dates and SDCC being a huge fan event for Square Enix to get the games in front of more eyes than just through other people's thoughts and opinions. State Of Mind We have a new story trailer for State Of Mind and along with it has come the official release date for State Of Mind It is story time again and this time it is all about State Of Mind. Not a specific state, but the new game that Daedalic Entertainment is putting out there on August 15th for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. Maybe you remember it and maybe you do not. It has been a bit since it was back in the spotlight, but seeing as State Of Mind now has a set date in August for its release it makes sense to be right back here. Read More...

Twin Mirror The first behind the scenes video for Twin Mirror is here and it tries to give us a bit more insight on what Twin Mirror will actually hold for us If you were confused about Twin Mirror when the first trailer dropped during E3 this year, get ready for even less clarification as we now have the first developer update or behind-the-scenes. Whichever you wish to take it as. Anyways, DontNod has put together a new look at their title that they have Bandai Namco publishing that seemed to be a weird blending of their other titles into one nice one. Read More...

Code Vein The release date for Code Vein has been pushed out until 2019 now after feedback from fans and media during the displaying of Code Vein at events Here we go with an odd turn for Code Vein as it looks like that September 28th release date will no longer be the case here. After waiting so long to give a release date and showing the game off at multiple events so far, Bandai Namco is now pushing the game out to a 2019 release date. What date in 2019? That is still to be figured out as it now only has a release year and no more solid date. Read More...

SoulCalibur The next fighter for SoulCalibur VI is here as Talim joins in the fight and tried to prove she has what it takes to win in SoulCalibur VI Let us add another fighter to the roster of SoulCalibur VI as it looks like Talim is on her way in now to take names and kick ass. She is the latest of characters announced for the game from Bandai Namco here and the roster just keeps expanding. Sooner or later, we will have the full roster as we loom ever closer to SoulCalibur VI's October 19th release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That day is not now, but at least we can add another name and face to it all. Read More...

Control The first developer diary for Control is here to explain how the team went about constructing the world and story of Control So far, what has been shown for Control has been impressive and it looks like we could be getting ready for another great hit from Remedy. It does seem to tick off a lot of what we all have come to expect from the developer and now that their title will be coming to the PS4 on top of the Xbox One and PC, it looks like it could all be more promising for the team to do well. All that needs to happen now is to make sure that the world and story of Control work just as well as the mechanics and we are all golden for a nice new franchise to pine over. Not the loftiest of demands, but it is all something that we are all waiting for to find out the full details. Read More...

Jump Force It looks like Bleach is now coming to Jump Force as three new characters get the announcement to Jump Force’s roster of anime characters Heads up for all those anime fans out there who have been keeping an eye on Jump Force since it was recently announced. It looks like three new characters have been announced for the game as Spike Chunsoft is adding in Bleach characters to the fight. Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen to be exact will be joining the fight of Jump Force as you can see down in the screenshots. Not the largest of surprises as I expect to see all of the IPs that Bandai Namco have access to will be joining in when the game launches in 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Control While at E3, I was able to see Control in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Control. Another of the interesting titles that we saw get the reveal out at this year's E3 was Control from Remedy. It came at us all with a weird and unusual trailer, as was to be expected, and made a huge splash during the Sony conference where 505 Games opted to show it all off to the world. Maybe to hit home that their game was going to be on all platforms here or just the right place to unleash Control to the world. Either way, it was announced and slated to hit us in 2019 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It has been another great week and there has been a lot of video games to go over since E3 2018 ended. We still have even more that we have to talk about and bring to you next week, so hopefully you are not tired of it all just yet. How could you be with the great look at Cyberpunk 2077 we all had, the expansion of news for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, and a deeper look at Overkill’s The Walking Dead. Of course, not to discount the other video games out there like Mutant Year Zero and such. Read More...

Captain Spirit While at E3, I was able to see The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit. Another of the outside the realm of the usual at E3 came The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit during the Microsoft media event and it is the bridge between the original Life Is Strange and the upcoming second full title in the franchise. DontNod is back at the helm for the franchise here and it looks like they also have Square Enix bringing it to us on June 26th on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. All for the low price of free, so we can eliminate the cost being a reason to skip out on this new narrative adventure. Read More...

Soulcalibur While at E3, I was able to see SoulCalibur VI in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on SoulCalibur VI. There seemed to be many fighting games out on the show floor at E3, which is good for the genre, but some of the good old franchise was out breathing life into themselves and SoulCalibur VI was another one of them out there. Do not think this is a bad thing as it is good to see that Bandai Namco has not abandoned the game and trying a few new things. Especially based on what they had on the show floor for us to play. Tomb Raider While at E3, I was able to see Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. With Shadow Of The Tomb Raider not that far off from release, September 14th as a reminder, it was expected to see the game have a huge showing out at E3 this year and Square Enix did not let us down. There was a great showing during their huge press event the day before E3 kicked off, but also had a nice long demo for fans to play that Eidos-Montréal had put together just for the show. It was a nice subsection of the core game and let the world see what was coming to Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as well as show how the gameplay has shifted a bit. Read More...

Jump Force While at E3, I was able to see Jump Force in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Jump Force. It feels like this should have been a thing well before, but as it was announced out of E3 this year, we have Jump Force coming at us on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC from Spike Chunsoft. All to add into the crazy games and style that Bandai Namco has been known to bring us when it comes to the anime-style titles out there. This one aims to bring all of your favorites into one battle arena here and finally have us hash out those epic fights we all speculate on. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Holly Hells, it has been a huge week in video games as E3 has now come and gone. There were all kinds of surprises and fun to have been had and we were out there on the ground checking out all of those games and collecting information. One of the big video games out there being Cyberpunk 2077 and we have a lot more to share with you than what we already have here. That and more for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, Spider-Man, and Death Stranding just to name a few. Read More...
