Tomb Raider The first gameplay for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here now and we get to see how the franchise has evolved from the last Tomb Raider title We have been good and waited until this year's E3 to finally see Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in motion. At least in terms of gameplay. Since it has been known that Eidos-Montréal will have the game ready for us on September 14th, it was a given that we would get to see it during Square Enix's media event this year and then again on the show floor. They could have kept all of that under wraps until the release date, but that is just not how all of this marketing thing goes to make sure we are pre-ordering and ready for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. I guess that is good for all of us who have been dying to see just what is in store for us with the game. Read More...

E3 2018 Can't Be At E3 2018 Or The Square Enix Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Straight From E3 2018 Not everything is going to be on the show floor of E3 2018 and because of that we have these huge press conferences and here we go with Square Enix's huge event just before the doors open for us all. Just as the games and announcements they have for E3 2018 not all of us will be able to be there on the show floor to see them as well. Thankfully, we live in the age of live streaming and we can watch the press conference through multiple online avenues. Read More...

Twin Mirror Another new game is announced with Twin Mirror and we may be questioning our brains when we finally come to the end of Twin Mirror It has not even been more than a week since DontNod released their last title and here we are with an announcement for Twin Mirror here just before E3. I am not going to complain at all, but it definitely looks like they are on a roll here and bringing out titles that take us into different worlds and narratives on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Not to mention that Bandai Namco teamed up with Sony to make Twin Mirror the third early announcement for the week before E3 officially kicks off. Not a terrible way for any of them to start it all off. Read More...

Be it NPC based or other players in Memories Of Mars. Read More...

Soulcalibur Maxi is joining the roster of Soulcalibur VI and we get to see more of the character in action with the latest trailer for Soulcalibur VI One more fighter has joined the ranks of SoulCalibur VI and it is another one that has shown their face in the past but is still not the largest named character for the franchise. At least that would be the case for me. Anyways, it looks like Bandai Namco has officially added Maxi to the roster for this outing of the franchise and Maxi will have all the flare and nunchaku fans of Soulcalibur could be hoping for. LEGO It has been officially announced that LEGO DC Super-Villains is coming and unlike other LEGO video games out there, we get to be the villain It has been teased, "leaked," and now it is official that LEGO DC Super-Villains is going to be a thing and is coming for our PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on October 16th. Not to steal them, but for us to play and enjoy as the next title from TT Games set in the DC Universe. There have been a whole lot of these, for sure, but as is usually the case, LEGO DC Super-Villains will look to mix it all up a bit and give us something to be excited for with the usual gameplay. Soulcalibur The next character for Soulcalibur VI and it is another blast from the past of Soulcalibur to cause all kinds of Hell and frustration for others The next character to join the roster of SoulCalibur VI has been revealed and it is none other than one of the fan favorites Yoshimitsu. Fan favorite or character that annoys the Hell out of you when someone selects him given his moves and disorienting nature. At least that is how I always found him when I played him in the past and it looks like Bandai Namco is keeping with a lot of the traditional for him in Soulcalibur VI. I will not deny that this is what has pushed me over the top for excitement for the game to finally launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Tomb Raider A new developer interview for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it takes us through the evolution of Lara from the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise to now I know we are all waiting for another big update for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as all we have had since its first leak has been a nice looking CG trailer for the game. It showed us what Eidos-Montréal was aiming for, sure, but it did not give us any actual gameplay or too many details for the game. I have a feeling this was to hold off until Square Enix's big E3 showing that is planned but to give us all a taste. Read More...

Hellbound The release window for Hellbound is now set for 2019 while we still have a nice free mode of Hellbound to get us further ready for the game It looks like we will need to wait just a bit longer for Hellbound as it has been stated that the game will now be "ripping onto the scene in 2019." Those are the words of Saibot Studios and not some fancy thing I put together for this 90s-inspired first-person shooter. It is what it is for now, but that will not change the wait for Hellbound that is just a bit longer now. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag yet again. It was a rough week for us here but we still managed to get all kinds of news and updates out to you for our great hobby. There were a lot of big announcements to see and have out there as we had a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 and the fact that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will be getting an optimization treatment for the PC version. There was also word that Rock Band 4 will be getting RBN again and we even got our final review of God Of War out there for those still on the fence. Read More...

Soulcalibur Another Soulcalibur VI character is revealed as a trailer leaked out and shows that Taki will indeed be a part of Soulcalibur VI Another veteran of the franchise has been confirmed for SoulCalibur VI as we now have a video showing off Taki. It may not be from a video that Bandai Namco wanted out there for the game just yet as it was "leaked" but it does show us that the warrior of the Fu-Ma clan will be back in the mix. It does come at us as all of the other Soulcalibur VI characters have so it is a solid confirm, but not the best-looking video that I am sure will be coming. It is something to know now as we wait for them to bring us the official reveal. Read More...

Tomb Raider A new partnership is here for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and it will make sure that PC gamers have the best experience they can have for the upcoming Tomb Raider title We may have just had the first semi-showing of Shadow Of The Tomb Raider last week, but here we are yet again to have a bit of information we did not get last week. It is nothing in terms of story, new gameplay, or even a direct look at the game from Square Enix. Sad, I know. Read More...

Tomb Raider The reveal trailer for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it looks like we are going to see a darker Tomb Raider with this one The day is here and we now have the first real reveal for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to get us all amped for. Sure the game was officially announced by Eidos-Montréal a while back, but this is the first video reveal that Square Enix has for the public. I state it that way as it is only a pre-rendered video we have for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider while select few in a few select locations have had the true chance to give the current version of the game a whole. Given that it is still slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14th it would be a bit safe to assume it is in a decent place to get a good preview. Read More...

Memories Retold The official announcement for 11-11: Memories Retold is here and 11-11: Memories Retold aims to take us on a new gaming experience during World War I We have another World War I era game coming at us as 11-11: Memories Retold has been announced and heading to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some point. This would be the latest collaboration between DigixArt and Bandai Namco, but the basics of what we have so far may not be exactly what you are thinking as most WWI games are shooters. That is not to say that 11-11: Memories Retold could not be one, details are still sparse for the game, but as of right now it is announced and claimed to be a story-driven narrative adventure in the era with a unique painted art style. State Of Mind A new update for State Of Mind is here as the release window for State Of Mind is now slated for August 2018 for all platforms The wait is almost over for State Of Mind as it has been let loose that the game will be coming to us sometime this August for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. This would be the next title that Daedalic Entertainment is working on where we take on the role of a journalist who questions the way the world is who also happens to find out his family has gone missing. All something we can see going on in the current state of the world. Read More...
