by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
South Park A new release date for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been set and it looks like we'll be back in South Park farting on everyone this October It looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole may be just in sight now as it looks like we have a new release date for the game to look forward to. Unless it is hit with any further delays, it looks like Ubisoft is planning to bring us this game finally on October 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this isn't another tease as we've been waiting for South Park: The Fractured But Whole since December of last year and it has been hit with too many delays. Read More...

Get To Know The Many Faces Of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellblade The latest developer diary for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been released and it gives us a great look at Hellblade will integrate other character's faces With each new update for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice I have been overly impressed with the techniques and tech that is going into making this game come to life and hopefully pull off what the intent is. I know that Ninja Theory has a very specific idea they are going here for the game and have for a while. That is why when we get the latest developer diary for Hellblade here, I am honestly shocked at what they are doing again and in such a short amount of time and small team. Read More...

Get Ready To Run For Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We have gameplay for the Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles to show how all these classic Call Of Duty maps have been updated It's been a pretty quiet turnaround from announcement to release for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles as it hits the PS4 here on Tuesday the 16th here. We've had a quick overview of what will be coming with the game and just what Treyarch has done to bring it to us but most of it hasn't shown off how all of these maps have been re-mastered for the bundle here. Granted it's only been a week since we heard about it all, but now we get to see just how those old Call Of Duty maps have been updated to give us a new Zombies experience if we've missed it or out over the last few years. We Can All Make A Difference When The Surge Launches
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge With The Surge just about to launch we get a new cinematic trailer for The Surge as well as a look at one of the boss fights in the game We are almost here as The Surge launches next week on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It has been a fun ride so far with a lot of questions still needing answers from Deck 13, but now that we are a few days away it seems like a moot point as we'll be able to answer them all for ourselves here. Of course that doesn't help with the whole figuring out our thoughts on The Surge before it launches, but I am sure that Focus Home Interactive would rather us just take the plunge and hope for the best instead of knowing everything and opting to possibly not picking up the game. I'm not suggesting it one way or another, so please don't think that, but it is how it is. Read More...

Just How Transformed Is The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot Two new videos for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy have popped up to give us a feel for how the original Crash Bandicoot games have been updated So far we've seen what the updates for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will look like and how some of the levels have been altered to handle better and not just look better. We are talking some very old games here that Vicarious Visions is bringing back to us and it isn't something as easy as a texture swap to get the levels and characters looking as they do on the PS4. Some gamers out there don't have a good frame of reference though for where Crash Bandicoot is coming from and what has truly gone into the update that Activision is bringing us. Read More...

Get All Of Your Call Of Duty Zombies Story All In One Place
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new bundle, the Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles, has been announced and aims to bring all of the Call Of Duty Zombies fun in one place It's fun to see how a little Easter Egg in an older Call Of Duty title has progressed over the many different versions and developers over the years. In this case we are talking about the Zombies mode that was slipped into World Of War by Treyarch and has now become a staple in all of the versions of the game that Activision pays to come out. Now it looks like, for the first time, we will get to see all of Treyarch's versions of the mode in one place as Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles has been announced and hitting the PS4 on May 16th. Space Hulk: Deathwing Is Getting An Enhanced Edition For Consoles In Q4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Space Hulk While Space Hulk: Deathwing may have released on PCs already, the wait for the console version of Space Hulk: Deathwing continues but will be getting big enhancements Since Space Hulk: Deathwing launched near the end of last year on the PC it has been met with a few mixed reviews but still seems to be holding strong with the core fans of the universe. Something I am going to guess is to the pleasure of Streum On Studio as they are still working on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game so that even more fans can have access to it. I was under the assumption a while ago that Space Hulk: Deathwing was going to hit all platforms at the same time and was a bit let down that it missed the mark. Read More...

Go Behind The Scenes With The Surge & Learn More Of The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Surge A behind the scenes video for The Surge has been released and it gives us more insight into all of the things going on in The Surge that we've questioned In just under two weeks we will be playing The Surge on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC depending on your choice. While we've seen a lot for this action-RPG title so far, I know I've been left with quite a few questions that have been left unanswered by Deck 13 in a few different arenas. One of them being the main focus of The Surge's combat in terms of the limb severing system. It's been mentioned so many times and "shown" just as often but for the life of me I have yet to figure it out based on what we've been given. Read More...

Call Of Duty: WWII Had A Huge Reveal & Here's A Breakdown
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 3rd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We've had the official Call Of Duty: WWII reveal but that wasn't the only thing shown off for Call Of Duty and it looks like more zombies Last week we all had a nice showing of Call Of Duty: WWII with the huge reveal event that showed us just how Sledgehammer Games was going to take the franchise back it its roots and era that started it all. We had an amazing trailer shown off, you can see it below, and a lot of praise thrown around but also mixed in were quite a few other tidbits that may have been glossed over or missed. I'm sure Activision doesn't want that to have happened and that is why I am here to bring you what we know for Call Of Duty: WWII right now and up until November 3rd when the game will land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC around the world. Sane Trilogy as that has been a bit of a staple in the franchise since as long as I can remember. No reason to stop now as Vicarious Visions gets to bringing us all of the fun titles in this bundle yet again. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal is finally here. We have you covered with the live stream of the Call Of Duty event The day is here and the time is now for the huge Call Of Duty: WWII reveal that we've all been promised. There have been a few minor "leaks" on things already but nothing too huge for what Sledgehammer Games has put together for us in this new installment of the game. We all know that Call Of Duty: WWII is poised to take us back to the roots of the franchise and it has been a welcomed idea so far since Activision put the teaser out there. None the less, and leaks aside, we still don't know much about this title outside of the given content that comes with every version of the game. Read More...

Things Seem To Be Changing For Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Ancestors It looks like Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is no longer set to be episodic and it is going to let us dictate how our Ancestors came to be Just about two years ago we had a tease for a new game called Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. This was the new project that Patrice Desilets (Assassin's Creed) and team over at Panache Digital Games was working on that would take us on a third-person action-adventure through the process of human evolution. All done in a form of a documentary of sorts as we watch and help guide our Ancestors through everything from the very beginning of it all to our current age. All in an episodic form that was assumed to have each major era be a different episode. Read More...

Call Of Duty Is Going Back To Its Roots With Call Of Duty: WWII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The next Call Of Duty title has been officially announced and we are going back to the franchise's roots with Call Of Duty: WWII Back at the beginning of the year we had a nice little tease on what to expect for the next edition of the Call Of Duty franchise. There was a lot of speculation and thoughts that Sledgehammer Games hid clues in said teaser but it was all guessing and nothing completely solid as of yet. Yet being the key word here as Activision has announced today that we will be getting Call Of Duty: WWII as our next major title in the franchise and that it all will be going back to its roots as it were. I'm guessing just in terms of the era but there could be much more than that I guess. Read More...

Let's Dive Into Some Great Combat For The Surge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Surge We have more gameplay for The Surge and this also gives us all some more of the combat for The Surge just a bit before the game's launch Here we go with more combat for The Surge to get us all ready for its release on May 16th. This is something we've seen a whole lot of over the last few months and weeks as Deck 13 has been showcasing one of the bigger features in the limb severing system they have in the game to make everything insanely deadly. That is at least one of the goals here for The Surge and hopefully it will make more sense when we get the game in our hands as I am still a bit confused on if it is a targeting system or just the luck of the draw kind of system based on where you hit. I'm going to bank on the latter here for now based on what we have here. Read More...

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Had An Interesting Starting Point
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Hellblade More coverage for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has been released and it is all about how Hellblade began and the topics it aims to cover If you've been reading the site for a while now then you know that I am enthralled by Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and have been for quite some time. It not only looks absolutely stunning for the small team that Ninja Theory has working on everything, but it goes into a subject matter that I am truly fascinated by; mental illness. Hopefully this isn't the first time you have found out that Hellblade is going into the realm and bringing us with it when it releases later this year on the PS4 and PC. Read More...
