Review — Call Of Duty: WWII
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty We sit down and review Call Of Duty: WWII. We are heading back to the Second World War again. Here's our review of Call Of Duty: WWII The next installment to the Call Of Duty franchise has dropped and looks to take us all back to the roots of the game. Sledgehammer Games and a few of the other developers in Activision's wheelhouse have opted to take us all the way back to World War II and give us all even more Nazis to kill in our video games. Not in an over-the-top satirical kind of way, but in a grounded more realistic kind of way. At least on that mirrors more of how things truly went down in real history. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/20/17 — 11/24/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 25th of November 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes yet another week in video games here. A bit of an off week, but still a pretty solid one if you were not mixed up in all of the US Thanksgiving stuff or the horrible holiday to consumerism. Although there was a lot to be had in terms of video games for all of that and with Shadow Of War and Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite already out there, you could have seen more reasons to pick them up for a lower price. Or just to finally sit back and give Hellblade or Street Fighter V some more time in between dinner plates. Read More...

Although up to now it has only been a few flashy trailers for the public to see and no real gameplay for Black Mirror here. Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Is Performing Better Than Many Expected
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Hellblade In the first three months Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has outperformed than the team expected and Hellblade shows little sign of stopping Word has officially broken that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice has crossed the five-hundred thousand sold mark and is well into making a solid profit for Ninja Theory's small team. This is not news that we normally cover here on the site, but this is kind of a bigger deal for gaming in general and not just the coffers of this one developer. It is a sign that even a small team of about twenty can make a title that can meet and then exceed expectations in a short amount of time and not require a whole lot of "fluff" to do so. Read More...

Take A Little Walk In The Park With The Surge's Next Expansion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The Surge Have a look at The Surge's next big DLC to come that shows off just what would happen in an amusement park after events for The Surge occur Attention all of you gluttons for punishment. It looks like the next big DLC for The Surge is almost here and now we have a fun tease to see what it will most likely hold within. A safe guess would be that Deck 13 has added a lot more in the way of deadly robots out there trying to kill us non-stop, but if you are not a guessing human you will be happy to see that there is a bit more than that. Of course, Focus Home Interactive has dropped a new teaser for this DLC for The Surge called A Walk In The Park so there will not be much in the way of speculation as to what we will have to face off with. Batman: The Enemy Within Is Fracturing The Mask Next Week
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 17th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Batman The release date for the third episode of Batman: The Enemy Within has been set and we will be back with Batman next week If you have been pining for the next episode of Batman: The Enemy Within to finally drop, then the wait is almost over as it is coming next week on November 21st for all of its platforms new and old. Just about when it should have been expected based on the norms that Telltale Games has for us with these titles and this one looks like it is going to be just as insane as they have been in the past. Of course, that is if you have been playing them from episode to episode and not waiting for the entire season of Batman: The Enemy Within to be playable in one shot. Read More...

Do Not Expect Vampyr To Bleed Your Wallet With DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Vampyr In a recent interview for Vampyr, it was revealed that the team does not want to do any DLC for Vampyr but plan for a sequel based on sales In a recent interview for DontNod's upcoming Vampyr, a few interesting things for the game were revealed but sadly still no solid release date for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. It is still set for "early 2018" and I am going to venture a guess around E3 or so. Nonetheless, there were some interesting facts about Vampyr that did come to light outside of when Focus Home Interactive will deem it a full success or not. Read More...

A Lot Of New Action Is Coming With Outcast: Second Contact
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 8th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Outcast Another new developer diary for Outcast: Second Contact is here and we also get to see a lot more on the side of combat & action for Outcast: Second Contact Next week, November 14th, we will see Outcast: Second Contact land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC yet we still have so much more to see and understand for the game. At least if you had little to no knowledge of the game before Appeal and Bigben went to give us this new version and continuation of the franchise. It is hard to wrap it all up in one short way, but as it looks, that will not be needed here as we can further see how the action and combat of Outcast: Second Contact have been altered from where the franchise originally had it. Overwatch Is Introducing Us To Moira Who Will Be Coming Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Overwatch A new ‘hero’ is coming to Overwatch and we have our first look at Moira before she vows to bring down Overwatch with her powers If you were not paying attention out at Blizzcon here recently then you may have missed a few new things that are heading to Overwatch here soon. A few things like a new map and another new hero for the game are now coming out there from Blizzard and trying to add even more into the mix of things. That is right, we have a new character heading to Overwatch and it is high time to meet Moira and all of her "unethical" ways. At least some will see them as unethical as she is definitely not on the side of good and righteousness here. Read More...

Guacamelee 2 Has Been Announced & Is Coming Soon-ish
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of November 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Guacamelee The announcement for Guacamelee 2 has finally come out of Paris Games Week and it looks like we could expect Guacamelee 2 soon-ish or whatever that means The title here pretty much says it all as Guacamelee 2 has been officially announced out of Paris Games Week and according to the trailer we have, it will be out on the PS4 soon-ish. I say the PS4 at least here a Drinkbox Studios has yet to confirm if it will be coming to the Xbox One or PC at some point. I am going to guess that it will and at worst Guacamelee 2 could be a timed exclusive, but that all boils down to where money gets thrown around. Read More...

Call Of Duty: WWII's Nazi Zombies Will Have A Lot More Hidden Than Expected
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of November 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty One final interview before Call Of Duty: WWII launches dives deeper into what Call Of Duty: WWII's Nazi Zombies mode will have for us In only a few days Call Of Duty: WWII will finally be out and we can see what all of the hype was for. November 3rd to be exact and it will be on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC bringing with it all of the hard work that Sledgehammer Games has put into it and the new Nazi Zombies mode. This is of course why we are here right now as we have had a lot for the core part of Call Of Duty: WWII and now it is time to get a little bit more on how this new mode has been changed up. Maybe it will give us all a newfound love for Activision and how it pushes these games each year, or it will leave us begging for a break so they can all perfect their craft once again. Read More...

Spider-Man Is Suiting Up Again In The Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new Spider-Man trailer is here from Paris Games Week and this one shows us who Spider-Man actually is as well as some of the supporting cast After much waiting and guessing, we finally know who this Spider-Man is going to be in the new game coming from Insomniac Games. Not only that, but we also have a new trailer for the game out of Paris Games Week all to show us that it will be another Peter Parker story but it will host a plethora of supporting cast as well as other playable characters. All of this because, and I agree, the best Spider-Man stories do come from events that cause both the hero and secret identity to cross over and this is just what this PS4 game is looking to do. We will know a lot more as we head into 2018, but the team has been very adamant on this point and now we get to see it all a bit more. Read More...
