NCsoft and TransGaming Announce City of Heroes for the Mac So it's been a long time coming, but it is finally going to happen. So good news for those Mac players that have yet to get addicted to WoW. On September 30th it was officially announced on the Rock Band forum that AC/DC is coming to the hugely popular Harmonix title. Though their song “Let There be Rock” is playable for Rock Band 2, currently out on the Xbox 360 and soon for the PS3, the band will also be getting the stand-alone treatment for both the original Rock Band and its sequel. Available only on disc and not a part of the DLC, the installment will be titled AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack and hits store shelves on November 2nd for the 360, PS3 and PS2. And that they have bumped the release date forward twice now. Jack Thompson Disbarred That's right, one of the main thorns in the side of the video game community/industry has just been permanently disbarred as well as having to pay hefty fine by the Supreme Court of Florida. All of this for inappropriate conduct when filing his flagrant charges against Game, TV, and Music companies for their "Questionable" material in their formats. Some of these of course being against South Park and Grand Theft Auto. Luke Smith, the Bungie Weekly Updater, has revealed some of the new achievements that will be added to Halo 3 when Title Update 2 hits later this month. The achievements are related to the campaign, ranked/social play, and the Legendary map pack. EA's survival horror space shooter Dead Space, which was supposed to come out on Halloween night (October 31st), has now been pushed forward. Earlier today EA stated that the console versions of the game would be hitting store shelves on October 24th, a full week earlier than originally announced. Rock Band 2: Rated No not and ERSB rating, already knew that would be T, but they rated the difficulty for the songs that are coming out on the disc at launch date. They also were nice enough to break it down by the different categories as well as overall band. No listing of how difficult, like on the current Rock Band Store, but early images show that is how the songs will be sorted out and displayed from the get go in the game. But at least here, you can prep yourself for what is to come. I do like seeing Tenacious D down in the ranks of Megadeth and Judas Priest in the level of difficulty. Read More...

In much anticipation of Call of Duty 4 coming to the mac, since our last update, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been pushed back again. That's right AGAIN! This is getting to the point where it's ridiculous that they keep pushing back the date. Will it even come out? I hope it does, but at this point, is there a point in buying it when it comes out?
