Finally we get something that was originally pitched way back when. It only took six episodes before we got another gritty take on the Mortal Kombat universe. While it was nothing as insane as how Baraka or Scorpion were presented, it does ask the question of "What would happen if a god fell in the modern age?" Finally Some Prototype 2 Screens

Maybe it is just me, or because we are still a year out from launch, but the visuals for Prototype 2 don't seem to be going the way most sequels go. Usually there is some insane boost or extreme change in how things look. From the below screen I'd swear that they were take straight out of the first game. Not that it is a bad thing, but a little unexpected. The latest episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy has hit the web and it continues down the path of just retelling the story from the game. I have given up hope that they would begin to go back to the "reality based" version. So I am going to try and approach this from a different angle as my original excitement was for something that seems will never be. Anyway, this episode continues the animatic and story of Kitana and Mileena that was approached in last week's episode. Activision To Release A New Call Of Duty, More Talk Of Project Beachhead

Monday brought a lot of long awaited, if not expected, news for the Activision Blizzard team. One important bit of news was a new Call of Duty title that would be released before the end of this year. With Call Of Duty: Black Ops the number one selling game in the US and Europe for the past three months, it's no surprise that Activision is going all in with this one. It's a safe bet that another CoD will sell just as well if not better than its predecessors. Diablo III Beta Test Starting In Q3!

Yes, Diablo III's external beta test is almost upon us and it's been confirmed by Blizzard'svery own Mike Morhaime. Dark Of The Moon Shows How Bumblebee Stings

Unlike Mass Effect 3, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is still on track for its June release. I mean it better be as Activision is trying to get it out in the same window as the upcoming film as well. A delay now would be retardababy. Or at least give us the promise that is not just a film tie-in and a real follow up to War For Cybertron. Mortal Kombat: Legacy Episode 4 - Let's Go To Outworld

Um…I really don't know what to say this time. Other than it looks like the previously mentioned boat has now brought that jumper to the ramp before the shark. This new episode has completely deviated from the original pitch from last year. It reeks of either studio demands or that the production team stopped caring about bring what was originally hyped. I knew Baraka was going to be grossly different than the "real world" rendition, but they went all fantasy on it. We Got A Look At Axel From Twisted Metal...Kind Of

Not only do we have a few shots of the Axel-like vehicle from Twisted Metal, but we also have a couple of game play clips of the multiplayer for the game. One kind of looks like the semi overtake races from Split/Second with a TM twist and the other a full arena style combat with a God Of War twist. At least that twist with all the spike traps and huge swinging spiked balls aimed to destroy your vehicle. I will say that what I've seen so far did have me flashing back to my early PS1 days with Twisted Metal though. Read More...

Rainbow Farting Unicorn, Yea That Was Said...

A new video has been posted on YouTube celebrity Freddie Wong's page, featuring a very gaseous little unicorn. Although at first it seems to be a normal humorous YouTube video, the credits point us in another direction. The video starts off with Freddie surfing the internet and getting a pop-up add claiming he has won something. Being slightly more curious than normal, he clicks on the ad and suddenly there are screeches in and out of existence dropping off what sounds like a heavy package. Call Of Duty To Become The Next Guitar Hero?

A leaked memo from Activision's CEO Eric Hirshberg is sure to have Call of Duty fans shaking in their boots and at the same time jumping for joy. The memo, from back in February, shows that Eric and the rest of the company are weary that Call of Duty might end up just like Guitar Hero. Let's see why this is a good thing for Call of Duty fans. Eric believes that the key to continuing Call of Duty's success is its Quality, saying "We need to focus: on making games that constantly raise the quality bar; on staying ahead of the innovation curve; on surrounding the brand with a suite of services and an online community that makes our fans never want to leave. Inversion Shows How You Don't Miss Gravity Until It's Gone

Man this is so true. I don't know how many times I've been caught with the dilemma of missing gravity. Oh wait, that's never happened. But then again I live in the real world where we don't have aliens trying to invade by shutting off our laws of physics. But could you only imagine? Of course you can't. Speaking of being invaded by aliens who can mess with all of the laws here, and from the looks bestow that ability, there is a new trailer for Inversion.
