Review — Batman: The Telltale Series — City Of Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
Batman We sit down and review Batman: The Telltale Series — City Of Light. This is the fifth episode of Telltale's take on the Batman franchise. Here's our review on how they did Here we go, and just before the holidays, but Batman: The Telltale Series' first season has come to a close and all of the mixed up lore that has been presented to us has all come to a head. It has been one interesting ride with Telltale Games' take on the beginning of the franchise and it has even brought us a few new bits of gameplay mechanics to go along with an epic story we've never really heard before. So far we've been rather impressed with Batman: The Telltale Series but now that the final episode is here, it is time to see if it is wrapped up nicely for us to want to look forward to another season or just something that should be left to rot in Arkham. Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Is Sabotaging Itself Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty The first batch of DLC for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare has been showcased and it looks to bring Call Of Duty four more maps & new way to play Zombies Here we go with the first details on the first batch of DLC for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare that will be coming to us on January 31st of next year. Well at least to those players who have the game on the PS4 as Activision has still locked in that exclusive DLC first on the platform before all others. Don't let that detract you from the fun stuff that Infinity Ward has lined up for us though even though the PC and Xbox One gamers will most likely have to wait a month to get in on the same Call Of Duty fun as the rest. The Madness Of Call Of Cthulhu Is Starting To Sink In…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. Styx Has A Few New Tricks In Styx: Shards Of Darkness To Show Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. Especially when we get to see a lot of the new tricks of the trade that Styx is bringing with the next title. Read More...

Have A Nice Day With Some New Gameplay For The Surge
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
The Surge More gameplay for The Surge has been released to give us a look at some of the systems in The Surge during the pre-alpha phase of it all It is always a nice day when we get more gameplay for any video game and here we go with more for The Surge. Sure this isn't the first bit of gameplay that we've seen for the game but it is the most recent given to us from Deck 13 and to show off some of the game's mechanics that may not have been focused on during Gamescom or E3 in the past. Maybe they were in smaller viewings but that doesn't detract that Focus Home Interactive has released some new gameplay for The Surge for all of us to enjoy. Or not enjoy. Read More...

We Need To Head Back To Arkham In Batman: The Telltale Series' Last Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of December 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Batman The final episode of Batman: The Telltale Series' first season is here and we get to join Batman as he heads back into Arkham to save Gotham yet again Today is the day as Batman: The Telltale Series' actions and events all come to a head with the final episode of the season releasing. It sure has been one insane ride through the new take on the franchise that Telltale Games has given us and I know that I have been mostly impressed so far. Especially given my views on the character and all of the villains that he takes on in every comic, show, and film. Now we get to see how this all ends and we build up for the most likely Batman: The Telltale Series season two. Read More...

It Is Time To Enter The Darkness Of Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Space Hulk After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
We Happy Few A new update to We Happy Few has been placed out there that fixes some of the current bugs & issues of We Happy Few during its early access phase Back in July the Early Access for We Happy Few went underway for a few of the platforms it will be heading to at some point. Maybe you bought in or maybe you didn't depending on your faith in Compulsion Games, but the option is still there and I know many, myself included, have had a blast with it so far. Yes it's had it bugs and issues but it is a game in progress and we are here to help shape We Happy Few into something we want to fully experience when all is said and done. At least I know I do. More Story Is Coming To Uncharted With Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Uncharted At PSX it was shown that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was going to be coming as a massive story DLC bit for Uncharted 4 to carry it on just a little further If you were able to catch anything out of PSX then you know that it all started off with a bang with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy getting shown off. Some thought it could have been another Tomb Raider thing and a few other ideas were floating around but none the less Naughty Dog is bringing yet another great experience to the PS4 with this extra bit of DLC. That's right, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is some DLC for Uncharted 4 in the end; but it is the biggest story DLC that the developers have ever put out and it will keep you playing the final game just a bit longer so that is all good. South Park: The Fractured But Whole Will Have Us Saving Kitties To Start
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of December 2016 - 08:00 PM ]
South Park A new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has released, instead of the game, and it looks like we can see the South Park mission that starts it all I know I am not alone when I say I'd like to be playing South Park: The Fractured But Whole as of right now. Yesterday (12/6) was the original release date for the game and now we sit and wait for the new date to even be announced for some time in "Early 2017." This is just how video games go sometime and hopefully all of this waiting means that Ubisoft is more about getting us a great game instead of padding numbers for the year. One can hope and I know that I still have high hopes for South Park and am glad to see that we have a new trailer to look at instead of the game that we should have had. Read More...

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Gets Another Production Update With Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of November 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Hellblade Another update for Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice has been put out there and it gives us all an idea on why we won't see Hellblade until sometime in 2017 It is a rare thing that we get two solid updates for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice in one week but it looks like this week has opted to deliver it all to us. I am not going to complain about this in the least bit as the more I can get on the game the better. The only real thing that we have to complain about here is that this is mostly Ninja Theory telling us why we won't be seeing Hellblade until sometime in 2017 and not a whole lot more. Read More...
